Zientek is one of those stores that are hidden away from the hustle and bustle of big shopping malls and the likes. It has two storeys of HO scale stuff and one needs to actually take sometime to explore the place. There are multiple rooms upstairs where items are stored and is managed by one lonesome gentleman. The store has a ton of rolling stock, the items are dust laden but reasonably priced, I think. The store is operating at reduced hours of 1:00 to 4:00 pm.

If you like dusty model train stores with treasures on every shelf this is the place for you. It even smells right. Not for the fastidious, but if you are up for adventure, check it out. The prices and selection are amazing and there is an astonishing array of vintage in box items.

This is the best model train shop I have ever been in. Lots and lots of stuff that has been out of production or hard to find, huge selection and great prices. Just a forewarning, do call ahead as it is a small business that might not always follow the hours posted here and do bring a flashlight as some shelves arent very easy to view in the lighting. Also it is cash only

Great deals on all manner of older harder to find model railroad models, mostly HO scale but there are some pieces for other scales. It is cash only so bring a decent chunk of cash, because you WILL find a ton of stuff you want. Just be careful about which side of 18th street you park on. It changes depending on the day, and the CPD will nail you with a ticket.

A great shop with a helpful owner. I visited for the first time this week and will definitely be back. A few things to remember.1- Cash only.2- Allow plenty of time to look/dig. Theres allot to see here.3- Dont drive away just because the lights are turned off/low.4- Watch where you park. Damen becomes a ticket zone after 4.
