I lost my brown wallet inside the store today, around three something pm today. I have my state ID, drivers license, chase debit and credit card and bmo debit card. I talked to the manager to see if someone took its. He says Im sorry I cant nothing I can do. I searched every where and I dont see my wallet. I ask the second manager, he told me I would check for you and I cant stop my business for u Im sorry..I called him around 8:36pm he says he didnt see anything, that I should wait till Monday. Its either someone from the store customers took or pick my pocket.

I recommend this store for african americans. they got good stuff.

Very good and always have what I need. The guys working at the meat department are the best people ever. Always so nice and helpful.

I only shop here because of their great deals in the deli. Otherwise everything else is over priced and some of the girls at the registers are really unfriendly. Especially an older hispanic women who didnt say hi, make any kind of acknowledgement and practically threw my items in my bag towards me. Just an FYI to the owners of this store. Its employees like that that can really hurt your business especially in a pandemic like this when you should really be treating your customers with the best service when they can LITERALLY shop at more affordable places but choose to come to you. I wont nor will I allow any of my family to come here again

This place is amazing! The discount produce rack is unbelievable. Theres a good assortment of food and Im always so impressed by how much food I can get for the low prices. The staff are friendly and helpful. This is the type of affordable neighborhood grocery store that everyone deserves. 100/10 would recommend to anyone. ❤️

Local, well priced with an exotic and fresh, but simple selection. I love how affordable this place is and their produce always tastes fresh. Their produce is by far the star here and they have a wonderful selection of difficult to find Caribbean and warm climate fruits, vegetables and tubers. Their spices are wide ranging and ethnic. I always find myself branching out with atypical ingredients when I shop here. Meats and dried goods are fine. Everything you need with friendly and welcoming staff.

They sell stale produce and have indecent customer service

I have shopped at this store for 20 years and my mom shopped there when i was a child . Friendly, clean and nice people. My only concern is that no one is practiced social distancing at the meat counter and one of the butchers had his mask under his chin. I felt uneasy

Great place to get a wide variety of Jamaican food. Favourite Jamaican brands - Grace, Walkers Wood, etc. Fresh meats, vegetables from the Caribbean and Africa as well as Mexico. Fresh frozen Jamaican patties. Reasonable prices.

Clean and tidy. Odd shaped store but ok. Great selection of dried herbs and spices. Caputo is a restaurant brand available at RPFM. Meat and vegetables consistently good. Ground chicken is often available. Ask the butcher. Some nice cleaning products found...Support your local businesses!!

Great market for hard to find ingredients

Awesome place to find a variety of ethnic foods. They are always well-stocked and their staff is generally knowledgeable and friendly. In the summertime, there is an awesome elote stand outside of the store.

This is a very special grocer. They cater to a unique variety of people from around the world who desire the same food and cosmetic items they would have in the countries they are from. In addition to that they offer the best produce and fruits you can find in rogers park. Dont waste your money at the big box store next door . One time of shopping here and you ll be back because you just cant find the quality or prices anywhere else. Great family business.

Great place to get international/Caribbean food. Wide selection of fruits and vegetables. When there check out the back where they have food items already cooked. You can grocery shop and grab lunch at the same time. Customer service is always excellent. BUOB : bring your own bag inconvenient location!

This place is wonderful! Low prices, fresh produce, and helpful staff! I live nearby and will definitely be stopping by regularly. Their produce prices and freshness beat Jewel and Marianos by a landslide!

I love that market its a great place to shop in the prices are reasonable I absolutely love their dollar rack where you can get a whole bunch of veggies or fruit!!👍👍👍🌱🌿😆😆😆!The downside of it is that everybody stares in everybodys face as if they dont have a life I think it gets kind of tight and suffocating in there. I like this place, the cashiers are pretty friendly, the butchers are so nice, and there’s usually always someone on the floor stocking that you can ask if you need help finding something. Great selection of fresh produce too, better than Jewel down the block!

You can go there for a quick run of groceries.. I hate to say it but they are mostly African food and stuffs there, some Mexican food also.

This market is overpriced and the quality of most of the produce isnt that great. Very limited parking available. The store looks tiny and feels the same way. The meat department were helpful and professional unlike the cashiers who were rude and unprofessional, well unless youre a male in line. I was there for my first and last time. Oh well, Jewel is only a block away with better prices and definitely better quality of produce. So if you can just walk or drive that one block up and enjoy an overall good shopping experience.

Fresh veggies and good food, at a better price than Jewel without the attitude and lines. This is the only place I can find raw peanuts to boil, and they have a great selection of fresh mushrooms.

Small 45y Market that has some nice ethnic foods, Jamaican and other Island countries. Love their exotic fruit section. Seafood is good. Also turkey legs are big and cheap !

It has all kinds of fruits and vegetables at a very reasonable rate. It also has a good range of fish. You can even find some other grocery items, but I wouldnt recommend it as a very good grocery store as it doesnt have some items such babys diapers or certain cooking mixtures.

WAS GIVEN GROUND BEEF AS STEAK MEAT. SPECIFICALLY ASKED BUTCHER FOR STEAK MEAT FOR TACOS-2&1/2 LBS $5+ per lb.WHEN COOKED UP NEXT DAY WE REALIZED THAT IT WAS GROUND BEEF AT 99% GROUND FKN BEEF. BUYER BEWARE.THIS IS THE 3RD TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED AT 3 DIFFERENT NEIGHBORHOOD MARKET STORES. THE LABEL SAYS STEAK BUT THEY GIVE YOU SOMETHING ELSE. OF COURSE THEY DENIED IT WHEN I CALLED. What a neat find! Conveniently located by Jewel, I shopped here as a supplement to my usual shopping and was very pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh and the store was very clean..I will certainly be returning.

This place used to be my go-to because of the great prices for good produce. That has not been the case for quite some time, which is a shame. Id much rather support a local, neighborhood market than Aldi but the prices speak for themselves.

Freshest produce, good customer service friendly workers... and very sanitary with good atmospheric auras. Very fast pace too.

They have a lot of Mexican stuff, which is great, and their prices are okay. Major weaknesses though: Fruits and vegetables that even a Jewel would have are absent here. They never have parsnips, or Crimini mushrooms, which are the second-most popular after white button. Their frozen foods section has no frozen pizza of any kind.

This place is like the minority version of the spice house .... mexicans, Africans, carribbean people can find alllll of their favorite herbs and spices in here.

Its easygoing, you just go in and get what you need and go through the cashier and pay for them. Remember to bring your own grocery bag to avoid paying for plastic bags.

After thinking the Jewel Osco would have everything we needed for a Filipino dish. We quickly found out their vegetables were spoiled and rotten. Ended up at RPFM where they not only had everything we needed but it was FRESH and CHEAPER. Best neighborhood market around

This place has been around since I was little. I love that about Rogers Park, it doesnt change too much. Not gonna lie, there is a strong smell that will hit you when you walk in but thats kinda common in small ethnic food stores. I always get Dudu Osun black soap by the bar dirt cheap. Egusu seeds and tamarind I can not find in my neighborhood. All kinds of herbal teas, seasame seed snacks, fresh fruit n veggies and rum raisin ice cream ( locally sourced). I only had a problem once w some seeds and they fixed it right away. What I like most is that they sponsor some of the local neighborhood festivals and give back to the black n brown community that keeps them in business. I will continue to travel a few miles and support them

The fruits and veggies are fresh. The meats are okay. If youre not going to cook the meats within a day, make sure to freeze it or it will go bad.
