Thresholds is nothing more than an enabling tool for young mothers to work the system in every aspect I have seen. Our daughter is currently in the program and we found the people in the program (meaning the staff) has lied to my wife and I number of times. The people who are in the program as we found out through our daughter couldnt care less about pushing clients to gain much needed skills. Our daughter was able to lie about employment and then able to run the streets freely. In a phone conference with our daughter and the staff. My wife and I were told that criminal activity is normal and was not an issue. WTH!!!! They give these girls a warm place to stay, a little cash, food, ect. As for our grandson? They had little concern about the environment he was going to be placed in. They had little effort in correcting our daughters path she is on as well. ITS A FREE RIDE FOR 2 YEARS as I can only view it. Yea they will give the outside people the perception that they are there to help. It took them over 3 weeks to figure out our daughter didnt have a job and that she was lying and they only found out because my wife and I told them. I have nothing good to say about the program other than I feel its just a two year free ride.
