Staff were nice and helpful. Patrons not so much. While attempting to check out 3 of us were being harassed by men in line behind us and threatening to follow us and no one would even say anything to them

Its great to grab some beer and head out. The bars closed right now but thats normal given covid. I would love to see some other wines and liqueurs but thats not what this place is about. Its a neighborhood institution with die hard regulars and (normally) you can usually count on baseball or news on the TVs and the guys that work there are sweet as pie. Its a beer and a shot kinda place and that applies to the store part as well. All the basics, reasonably priced. Venture outside that and best of luck to you. But Id go back again if I needed something less specific next time. I like the feel of it. Divey and proud.

The diveiest of dives. They serve reasonably priced drinks, and you can buy a bottle (of anything) to take home. Great staff, and good prices. Carry out or drink-in, its a win win!

I have spent many a sleepless night here...beat of both worlds ...Old school meets Hipster crowd and play pool and drink anything from Malort to SINGLE malt scotch...Love love love, have fun and be... to paraphrase the time honored phrase... Open Mind...Before and After hitting those 12.00 a bottle of IPA bars...this is where the magic happens... The find ANY song jukebox make the night come alive...

After going to three places before here I was so happy to see they had what I needed and that there were also people drinking at the bar. After all I went through I considered it!! It was cash only which I didnt know but helpful staff good prices and Ill be back for sure!

We were looking for a liquor store. We found an absolute gem. Im a little afraid to share it, but I cant pretend it never happened either. This is the only place Ive ever been that is a liquor store on one side and an active bar on the other. It is 100% cash only. I feel like if I came here ten times Id have twelve stories to tell. This is what bars are all about.

Wicker Parks booze hounds heaven for the blue collar crowd. Liquor store & bar combo. Chase your cheap shots with blaring country and games on mute. Lingering industrial bleach and bright lights keep you sharp and alert. Dont hate it because its a dump, love it because of it.

I stopped in to pick up a couple of bottles of Zubrowka and Malory while in town. The shop keeper is awesome. We chatted for a few minutes. This place is a liquor store and bar. It looks like they’ve got a pretty good selection.

This place is a dive, for sure. An old-school Chicago slashie with a very diverse crowd at all hours. What I like about a place like this is everyone talks to everyone. This place has survived the Wicks gentrification so far, I hope it continues to. It sure has a lot more personality than the Buffalo Wild Wings that could take its place if people dont keep coming here to get drunk for cheap.

One of the last dive bars in the area. Cheap drinks and beer 🍻. Decor is from late 70s however you dont go there to admire furniture. Do you?

Good dive bar nothing special about the decor but good warm people of all ethnicities.

If you spend to much time here, you might want to rethink where you are in life. Why come here? Cheap drinks made from a plethora of liquors and good music (I guess depending on who controls the TouchTunes). The crowd is definitely a mix. This is a slashie, folks.

Rite Liquors is a pretty good place to start out your night. It might be a little sketchy, but they have a bar filled with cheap drinks, and its a liquor store, so you can grab something to go and head to a BYOB place down the street.

I dont know how, exactly, to review a slashie. I dont know whether its best to give it five stars because it was awesomely disgusting, or one star because its pretty repugnant.One might be skeptical of the slashie draw, but where else can you see the most awesome people of society all in one place, every night? Everyone is sure to be offended in one way or another, and I wouldnt want it any other way.Introduced to the slashie concept for a friends birthday, I have to say I now strongly admire his taste in adult beverage establishments. Bravo, and keep it classy, (am I) Rite.

Unbelievably great deals on liquor but thats because the location is cash only. All walks of life in this location family owned for decades but thats because everyone is attracted to the cheap liquor.
