I emailed the store several days in advance for the Montblanc Red Signature Rollerball (hard to find and limited) and they responded within a few hours of my request to let me know they still had the pen available. Gabriel from the store was super nice and kind and also messaged me the day before arriving in Chicago from Seattle; for the Chicago Marathon. Very pleasant experience and all the staff were courteous and amazing. I visited the store two years ago (also for the Chicago Marathon) when the pen came out (and made me want it a lot) and thus this was two years in the making!

Called from Minneapolis because i saw they had an item in stock i needed faster than if i would of ordered online. Lindsey and Mary saved the day and got it to me the very next day. These two ladies gave me a 5 star experience. Thanks for saving the day on my wifes anniversary gift

Stopped in this week to possibly buy my first MB pen. In the end I bought two and that’s mostly due to Michael being an excellent sales associate. He was extremely knowledgeable, funny, and honest. I’ll definitely be back to make more purchases here.

I have had my pen for close to thirty years. Sadly it was damaged last year. I tried calling Mont Blanc several times, but they always wanted documents that have been lost for years. I recently went on a business trip to Chicago, so I went to the Mont Blanc store. That is where Michael made my day. He had my pen fixed and sent to my home in Rhode Island. Mont Blanc should be proud to have such and excellent employee. He represented Mont Blanc the way I expected and more. Thanks Michael! I love my pen!! Max

Placed my request for a Repair Order on a Solitaire Stainless Steel Meisterstuck Fountain Pen with Mary Cosgrave. She was most pleasant and knowledgable about the pen and the process. Following up on the phone I spoke with Gabriel who was both cordial and helpful in answering questions about the order.The boutique itself is beautiful, has an incredible location and a product line which is world class.

I have to say, Gabriel as an absolute gentleman! I was traveling to Chicago for business and decided to check out the shops on N Michigan Ave before leaving for my flight home.As some background, I am a younger guy (early 20’s) and even though I dress nice, I have unfortunately had negative experiences at some high-end stores in the past. I guess younger guys aren’t allowed to have money?I am currently looking for my next timepiece and saw the store close by. I decided to drop in because I know a decent amount about many luxury watch brands, and I have heard of Montblanc but really did not know anything about the brand. It was the middle of a weekday and I saw the store was empty at the time so I decided to check it out for a few minutes. I was immediately welcomed by Gabriel. I told him I was just there have a quick look and that I had zero intention of making a purchase at that time. He was extremely professional and spent about 15 minutes walking me through the store and telling me about the history/background of the company. He gladly answered all of my questions throughly and even offered me bottled water and the option to try on watches that caught my eye even though he knew I wasn’t going to make a purchase that day (This sounds normal, but I’m my experience, it is almost unheard at the companies/stores that I’ve been to). When I left he shook my hand, gave me his card, and even told me about other shops in the area to check out.Because of Gabriel, Montblanc has won itself a new fan. For my next purchase, I will be STRONGLY considering Montblanc solely based off of my experience with Gabriel. On my next trip back to Chicago shortly, I certainly plan on stopping by to see him (this time with the purpose of buying).In my opinion, Gabriel is a great asset to Montblanc and he deserves to be recognized. Thank you, for telling me about the company and it’s watches! I look forward to seeing you again soon, Gabriel!

Michael was a great sales ambassador and my girlfriend and I had a wonderful time looking over the 149s with him. Pen writes beautifully by the way, hard to reach a higher pinnacle in European craftsmanship than Mont Blanc.

I spent about an hour with Mary Cosgrave, and she was very helpful. She didnt seem very pressed to sell me something, but was very cautious with the writing instruments. I would definitely recommend someone to come here.

Bought a few refills for my Mont Blanc Pen and within a couple of weeks one cartridge stopped writing. Sent the defective one in and I received a call that they were replacing. A couple of days later it arrived in the mail. Great customer service.

Nice pens, but staff, including the manager were extremely rude. They were more interested/annoyed that I had not bought my pen from them, instead I found it 35% cheaper at non-Mont Blanc retailer. Typically snot nosed stuff. They should focus on customer skills, rather than prancing around the store.

Pompous staff . Unpleasant experience .I Sold my 3 montblanc pens because I didnt want to ever go back to store to buy refills. It infuriates me to have to deal with people like this in retail so I would rather avoid it. Poor hiring practices by a supposed high end brand .Gabriel is the worst sales associate I have ever encountered in a retail store he struts around store like he owns it,and actually knows little or nothing about the product he is selling .then if you challenge him or have a question he becomes bellicose and argumentative . He obviously comes from a low class background and I was actually afraid he would look for a physical altercation to make his point,as low class people do,because they lack the brainpower to present winning arguments Gabriel is representative of all that is wrong in luxury retailing today .Richemont should be ashamed having this man representing their brand .

Very poor service, rude staff, and they do not stand behind the quality of their products. I had a belt that broke (the stick came off the buckle) and they sent it for repair after basically blaming me for it breaking for no apparent reason. They did not provide any update on the status and I had to call weekly. Finally on the last call, the sales associate rudely said it cannot be fixed youll have to buy a new one. Of course he would not sell just a new buckle but required purchasing an entire new belt. Mind you this belt was $250 and was only 2.5 years old. Avoid this location at all costs.
