This was my first time in the store and my experience was amazing! Sabrina was just magnificent she asked me what I didnβt like in bags and brought me the most perfect selections! At one point I probably had 30K worth of bags and not knowing what to choose from and than she brought me the bag I fell in love with and it was a WRAP! She made everything so perfect! Like any luxury retailer, they take great care of you.I highly recommend making contact with a client associate and developing a personal relationship with them. You will be able to get in the store due to last minute cancellations, and they will also be able to place orders for you and help you get items before they drop online.Who am I kidding,Yβall just want to see the pics
Unfortunately the customer service is horrific. You wait outside in the cold, the sales associate donβt know the inventory... if you do in store pickup, they donβt let you look around. I can go on.. They make you question on whether you should be spending large sums of money there. The shopping experience cheapens the brand in stead of elevating it.So disappointed but I LOVE my purse.

Last time my sister came and they didnβt take her seriously and she couldnβt even browse what they had. Came back today and we were standing in the pouring rain forever and over 4 people came out and they still didnβt let anyone in. Please go across the street and buy from their competitor that starts with a G. They have much better service and have excellent customer service.

Well...My mother and I visited the store in Chicago..The second time..In a few years... Inventory was very low..Sales lady stated it was due to Covid..She stated they should have more things in Stock by Christmas....Well...I will be back in California and my mom back in Michigan...But it was still nice visiting the Store again.
The service is great when the SA anticipates a sell. However, if it is a return, itβs 50/50 on service depending on the SA you get but definitely not the same when purchasing. My last return was due to a same purchase online. So I went back to the SA twice in the same day and her attitude was not welcoming both times. Then she had the audacity to throw in a snobby comment that they only do that for their top spenders. She could of just kept her mouth shut and give me my refund. I will be ordering online as usual to not deal with stuck up worker like her.
Absolutely terrible service and not reflective of the LV brand. This store is on a wait list for three days in a row, while the shop itself is virtually empty of customers. We went and were told again that the wait is 30 minutes. It is freezing outside and they make you stand in the rain and cold to purchase thousands of dollars in items. Unacceptable for a luxury brand and loyal customer.
Who doesnt love shopping on holidays?! Experience - in comparison to other LVs, it was not the best. Due to the pandemic, they adopted a first come, first serve policy. Upon receipt of the were ready text, you have 5 mins to get back to the door. Good thing ...gucci and chanel are near by while you wait. You are not free to roam the store, you are shadowed by a sales rep (my sales rep was CG00). Unlike other designer stores, she didnt give me the feel of a personal shopper. The selection in the store was not the best (very limited). I am a shopper who just like to purchase what I see...I dont have time to study designers. Based upon my experience with the sales rep CG00, I would suggest knowing exactly the style, print, etc before hand. She was not good at just showing whats new, the latest style/trends, etc. It took the joy out of sporadic shopping! For this location, I would recommend: shopping online.
We traveled to Chicago to visit this store and purchase my first handbag. I was very nervous after reading reviews and hearing that the staff is very rude. The wait was about 1.5 hours to get in on a Thursday afternoon, but we were able to walk around and they sent us a text to come back so we didnβt lose our place in line.They set us up with sales associate Annie, and it was an amazing shopping experience! I am still shockedβ¦she gave us a tour, shared a back story of LV with us, joked with us and made us feel so welcome. She was able to find the bag I wanted and my husband even ended buying cologne which smells amazing! Stock is extremely limited.Because of Annie, we will be back and I hope to request her every time. This was a special day for me and Annie exceeded my expectations. Thank you Annie!
It is a very big store ( biggest in Chicago area), beautiful and very busy. I prefer this particular store in Chicago and its suburbs, because they have a bog assortment of items, such as bags πΌ, luggage π§³, shoes π π π , jewelry π, accessories, clothes π for both- men and women. Customer service is really good- at the top level. Youβre probably be offered a glass of water or champagne π₯, as a complimentary drink, while shopping. It is a great place to find a perfect gift π, for example, if we are a big group of people, 5-10 ppl, we prefer putting money together and buying a lifetime piece- like a bag, wallet or belt... which will probably be highly appreciated and worn the entire life π
Im only giving 5 stars because of Jo! Jo is amazing. Ive heard some things about this store, but none of them apply to Jo. Whether youre buying a wallet, fragrance or a bag, Jo treats you the same. I came with a friend here to purchase and compare bag sizes and shape. Seeing them online did nothing for me and I felt they would have more inventory than the Nashville GreenHills store. We waited in line which wasnβt a big deal I was prepared for that. We were told to sanitize our hand once we got inside to look at the bags. I wanted to see the Neverfull MM and the GM to compare the sizes. The Lady Ann who was assigned to us pulled out the MM. Neverfull only and told me this is all they had and itβs the only one. I asked to see the Graceful the Delightful and the Artsy she stood there and said we donβt have those either. I wasnβt sure if she understood which purse I was referring to so I began to describe it to her. She was like we donβt have a purse like that in the store. Meanwhile another associate pulled out the GM Neverfull for her customer to see. I noticed because they where pointing at the purse I had. Ann proceeded to tell me if I didnβt know what I want I should look online. Then she pulled out her phone to show me purses. I tried to explain to her that I had already looked online I just wanted to compare them in person and buy one. She kept scrolling the I asked if I could see one of the purses on display she looked at me and said βThat purse cost almost &5000.β I asked her if that means that I couldnβt see it? She walked over to get it and I changed my mind because after her comment I wasnβt about to give her commission from my sale. My friend asked βwhy did she say that?β βIs it because we were black?β Ann looked shocked and said βNoNo donβt Go there.β Then changed the subject about how they didnβt have inventory and if I see it online in stock buy it then and get a return shipping label in case i didnβt like it. She was rude and didnβt want to be bothered with us I felt it was because of our skin I only got to see the one bag and had hoped for a better experience than this one. I could of purchase several bags but I refuse because of how I was treated By the representative in the store. It 2021 and maybe she needs a refresher on cultural sensitivity and customer service.

Rude. I came to buy a bag and there were three or four staff members standing outside. They did not acknowledge me and someone else asked if we were supposed to wait outside after We had all been standing around a few minutes we were told very loudly βif you arenβt on the waitlist you arenβt coming in. No exceptions no excusesβ. I told her that was a shame for her store. This isnβt a concert line, this is a small group of people wanting to purchase high end handbags. On to another store! Are we supposed to be on a waitlist? No instructions, no βcome back laterβ. Nothing.You likely let go of 20-30k of store sales.

I visited the store the end of June 2021; I waited in line for more than half an hour. I have 3 Loui bags but I wanted to purchase a crossbody bag but the store was basically empty. The sale rep told me that they have been out of bags for a while because of the pandemic. The girl (Aisha) that was taking care of me was very nice. She was so helpful and very professional.While she was showing me the purses, she left one on the counter and a white rep was servicing another person next to me so she also left a purse on the counter. When she turned around and saw that I was standing there, she walked over picked up the purses and told the people that she was servicing that sheβs taking them up because she did not want them to disappear. I called to report the incident to a manager but was told that due to COVID they are not taking calls. I will not go back to that store again.

Dont waste your time, Shop online!!!They are not observant of the number of patrons nor the ratio of available sales associates per patron. You pay for this by waiting in the cold.After the 1 hour 20min virtual wait, I get a text your #1 in line, I then needed to stand in line outside the door waiting for an available sales associate and patrons to exit. Clearly I was not #1 in line, but #3. In 30 degree windy weather that is problematic. To add to the insult I get to watch 5 sales associates chatting among themselves while 4 patrons walked out but I was still made to stand in line.It gives the feeling that they want you standing in line as a marketing tactic to intice passers-bys. Like you did at clubs in your 20s.After waiting almost 2 hours, and then waiting outside, my hands could not take the cold anymore. No one was in line behind me. I walked across the street to wait for the person in front of me to go in so I could then return warm. I was told, by the door person, I had to get to the back of the line, which did not exist 7 min earlier when I clearly told the door person I needed to warm up. Obviously for my benefit of watching sales associates on the inside warmly chatting it up.Amazingly Tiffanys thanks you for coming to their store instead of shopping online. Thats where I was originally headed. I should have stuck with my plan.NEVER AGAIN!!!

Would give zero stars if I could. Went in for the monogram key pouch and told my advisor (JBOH) (extremely short blonde blue eyed, middle aged..etc I did not bother to remember her actual name this is just what the receipt said) but anyways I told her I would like to look at it first. She pulls it out and I then ask to see the damier ebene print as well. She gets an attitude and says in a rude tone you asked to see the monogram. Instead of just letting me see the two side by side she was extremely rude and impatient with me. She made my first experience in a Louis Vuitton store horrible and I wish I had not purchased with her. I do not understand why employees like her are on a high horse when getting paid less than $20 an hour.
There was a line outside. Itβs 16 degrees out, itβs snowing π¨ and they have no heat lamps nor is the ground clean so everyone is just slipping and sliding all over the place. One of the associates came outside to hand out instant hand warmers, which wasnβt any help because they took at least 10-15 to heat up! This is so unacceptable, and the amount of money that people spend in here, there should be better provisions for their customers. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS STORE, EVER!!!!!!!! Worst experience of all time!!!!!!!
Edrian is amazing. I had anxiety going in because Im not your typical Louie shopper (1200 can go towards bills, then Im broke) but I saved enough to grab my first bag. So knowing Im this middle class customer I felt very nervous that I was going to be treated differently. But I wasnt!The store was huge! First time going. The staff here arenβt the best especially one of the managers. he was serving me major attitudes and telling me iβm wrong about their gift wrapping policies. however, one the their newer CA, Raya, sheβs the sweetest and very helpful at that boutique. overall, this LV is a hit or miss but i guess the people in chicago have no choice since this is the biggest in the area.

Not impressed with the quality of my handbag or the customer service at this store. I originally brought it in because the tassles on the bag fell off after several months of owning it. I also pointed out the seam on the bag because it was crooked. The woman I was speaking to told me that was considered acceptable because it is done by hand and not by a machine. When you are spending thousands of dollars on a handbag you expect perfection even if it is made by hand. I feel the people at this store do not take their job seriously because it is on Michigan Ave and the majority of people coming in are tourists and not planning on buying anything. In the future if I ever purchase another Louis Vuitton it will not be from this store. It also took over 2 months to have my handbag repaired for two small tassles.

I understand that with the current pandemic, businesses are still finding the right balance on how to implement safety measures as well as a balance with premier customer experience.Louis Vuitton is one of those brand names where bad reviews/experiences rarely even matter to them as their items are coveted as must haves.As I scanned through reviews before writing this one, the 5 stars rolled far more often than a one star review. The one star reviews are sprinkled in there however, it usually revolves around one employee not giving an experience a customer expect from a luxe brand.Well, This review revolves around the entire experience of shopping a luxe brand during the pandemic.I took my significant other to LV for her to purchase a clutch purse for her upcoming bday. My s/o is no stranger to LV as she has brought multiple items from the website and a couple boutiques stores in other states. This was her second time going to the LV on Michigan ave. Of course she didnβt have the best experience the first time she visited (2018), so she was a little apprehensive that her experience would be better this time around.We waited to enter the boutique for a about 30 mins before we could enter. Just to give context, January in Chicago isnβt the best time to wait outside for a long stretch of time to enter a building. It was a fairly blended customer base that was waiting. We did talk with a few customers while we waited to enter the boutique.While waiting and talking with other customers, an African American the couple were exiting the boutique. We stop the couple and had a brief conversation with them about what to expect. The couple told us it was only about 4 people inside the boutique and they didnβt let you accomplish much browsing. It had a feel of coercion to buy or leave as soon as possible.Itβs was a young African American lady that was ahead of us that gain access right before we did. It was audible as the she enter the concierge asked βwhy are you here?β It was a weird intro into the boutique that we were taken aback by.Once it was our turn to enter, we were greeted with the same, what we seen as forceful, question βwhy are you here?β. My s/o other quipped βto buy stuff what else?!β The concierge then ask βwas there anything specific youre going to buy?β. My s/o pull up a specific LV clutch purse on the LV website. The Concierge quickly ushered us to the register to check out. The cashier, who was pleasant by the way, put a few samples of LV perfume in the bag and thank us for coming.Luxe Places like this does not give me nor my s/o a welcoming vibe. As African Americans, and I hate to play that card, it feel the luxe Experience for us is subpar or us as patrons isNonessential. Experiences like this make me not want to support luxe brands as it reinforces that it was never intended for my race.I know social distances is make business experiences much different, however no matter who walks through a luxe brand should be treat to a great experience... especially spending $1300 on a small purse...

My husband and I have visited this store twice and worked with Edrian. Hes always been very attentive and welcoming during our visits. Were from out of town but each time weve come weve made it a point to visit him. The store is very conscious during the pandemic and practice social distancing as well as limit the number of people in the store, which I definitely appreciate. Id been wanting the Artsy for a long time and finally got it for my wedding anniversary. Edrian was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and always makes suggestions for items to consider for future purchases. My husband and have now purchased four items with Edrians help and Ive got my eye on another item for our next visit. I look forward to continuing to build a strong professional relationship with Edrian as our go to consultant.

I had a great experience at Louis Vuitton on Michigan Avenue. As we all know, COVID-19 cases has been rapidly increasing in Chicago. Taking a trip to the Louis Vuitton store during todayβs climate was a little nerve wrecking. However, I was pleased to find a sanitizing station upon entering the LV store. There were plenty of COVID precautions in place that made me feel comfortable while I browsed. I was there to pick up a gift for a friend and to explore the LV fragrance collection. Amy, the sales associate who assisted me, was very patient and kind. I will definitely return in the future.
Just become appointment only...this is animalistic to have human beings waiting outside in freezing temps. Just does not represent the brand at all smh

Love the customer service here ordered my custom Louis Vuitton Heritage bag online, and it was shipped to this location for pickup 2 days before Christmas. This location was very busy but the service was excellent.

Not friendly, she acted like she we were wasting her time. Hoping the management will fix this issue. Im seeing comments about this particular sale rep. We visited this store on 8/9/20 and it was the worst possible experience weve had as shoppers. Allyena was assigned as my wifes sales associate (or client advisor) and Allyena was incredibly rude, short and condescending every time my wife had a question. I even tried myself to start small conversation to loosen up the mood, but it did not work. Luckily my wife had done some research before visiting the store so she knew the bags she wanted to see. At the end, we made our purchase, my wife was extremely happy with her purse, but the experience was more than horrible. The fact that we waited over 1 hour outside of the store to get in wasnt the worst part of it all. We will return, but we will refuse to work with Allyena again. I still hope everyone else has a better experience!

I have to submit my review. Last Friday, October 21st, my husband and I enjoyed the best shopping experience.........ever!!!! John Vasquez assisted us in our sale and made the experience one that will never be forgotten. He was knowledgeable, warm, funny and courteous. After helping me select the bag I would purchase, he surprised us with champagne, to celebrate. He then went on to show us the various fragrances and detailed each and every fragrances design, ingredient, process and historical value. Overall, we spent 2 hours in the store and made my first shopping experience one to never forget. We even talked my husband into a small wallet, as it was supposed to be my day, but I couldnt leave without getting something for him too. Thank you John, I will always remember this day.

Worst experience Iβve ever had. I went in on Saturday with my mother hoping to get her a Louis Vuitton purse. Well we get there and we asked for help, when this employee (African American women) was helping us we told her if she can show us purses on our budget. I guess it wasnβt enough for her because she had the audacity to go to her co worker and made a rude comment to him about us. They both looked at us and laughed and she fetch the bags. Iβm sorry but is this how you train your employees to treat any customer that goes in? We are paying customers not asking for hammy downs. Iβve never felt more disgusted by an employees actions. I wish I wouldβve gotten her name, but I didnβt want to make a scene. Train your employees better than this! People are spending $$$$ and for your employees to act like that is mind boggling.
I did have fun because I was buying a bag for my daughter and she was adorable trying them on. Its a major decision for us considering the cost. Everyone was nice and a bit aloof but I expected that and never allow others to steal my joy. The store is clean and I loved how my sales lady helped me try on a coat. Ill add her name later. The information is with my daughter. She was able and ready to show us another bag or the same one over and over with no bad attitude!
I was not impressed with the level of customer service at all. The lady that was helping me seemed fairly new I wanted my bag heat stamped and at first she was going to do the back side of my bag until I said something about it. They didnt have the bag instock that I wanted to purchase. Overall it was a terrible experience.

It was my wifeβs birthday so I thought weβd take a trip downtown to celebrate. Among our journey we walked into the Louis Vuitton store to get her a bag for her birthday sheβd had her eye on. We were greeted and told it would be a few minutes which was fine with us. We were then told Edrian would help us. Help would be a big understatement. He made us so uncomfortable and he was so monotone and unenthusiastic to the point where we wanted to leave and buy online. The handbag she was looking for wasnβt in the display so he had to go βlook for itβ which seemed like a dreadful task for him. Maybe we werenβt spending enough or maybe he was prejudging. We ended up purchasing it just because she felt the need that she was already there to do so. I left and she finished off the purchase. By the way he didnβt explain to us that f we got it hot stamped we couldnβt return or exchange it. I wouldnβt of anyways. No way id go back into that store again.

I am totally agree with the recent reviews about the bad staff and disappointed service! I was dreaming over a year to get a nice handbag for my Birthday, and as soon as I waked into the store I got no attention, I was so surprised! Later on while I was checking the store around me and my sister mentioned that four salespersons were handing out by the front door chatting with each other and pretending that they donβt see customers around! What a shame! I went over to them and ask about some help! I didnβt not feel that I was welcome into the Louis Vuitton company. I thought that LV brand has better service but now I know itβs not worth it to invest my money in it. Thus, I changed my mind and decided to get the Different bag instead! Hopefully, upper management would read our reviews and will do something with their service. Itβs not just about the product your get itβs all about the memory your have associated with your shopping experience!

At least ask if i want a drink, like all the other locations do. As the gentleman helped me find my bag I looked around and saw most customers with water or even a glass of champagne. I had a great shopping experience at Louis Vuitton Chicago Michigan Avenue. The bag that I wanted had sold out of the store and was not avaliable online due to high demand. Karolina was able to locate the exact bag I wanted and have it shipped to me. The customer service she provided me with in store and outside of store via text updates was outstanding!

I went in to get one of my pieces monogramed and they pressed in the button that made the piece snap together. The person who monogramed it brought over their manager and the manger said it still snaps. I contacted Louis Vuitton Client Services and they took care of it though.

I have been a Louis Vuitton customer for over 20 years, and have made purchases at many locations, including Michigan Avenue in Chicago. I do not recommend shopping here. My husband and I decided to shop in this store over Memorial Day weekend. I had a small covered cup of coffee in my hand. When we stepped into the store there were several LV employees straight ahead. One employee looked at me and with no greeting, said You cant have that in here! My husband and I immediately left. We talked outside and discussed how rude and outrageous it was to be spoken to that way. I mentioned to my husband that she should have offered to set my coffee aside for me while we shopped, if the coffee was an issue. My husband went back into the store and mentioned this to the employee. Instead of offering to assist us so that we could shop, she said to my husband...I will take that under advisement. Unbelievable treatment from a luxury brand store. There was no way to call the store directly, as now all calls go through a call center unless you have an employees card with a direct phone number. I called the call center and spoke to someone and left my name and number to have the manager at Michigan Avenue call me. I never received a call. The service and treatment from the call center was no better. My husband and I decided to go back to the store after never receiving a return phone call. I ultimately spoke to the manager over the phone and he told me he would interview his staff to find out who and why we were told we could not have our coffee in the store, as they do allow customers with coffee in the store and even provide coffee and beverages; and he would get back in touch with me with an answer. I never heard back from the manager. I have also put multiple messages in to the call center to speak with a client services person that I had talked with previously, to request my follow up information from the Michigan Avenue store. I have left 5 messages and I have never received a call back. After spending many multiple thousands of dollars with LV, I will no longer shop this brand and I would suggest to others to do the same. I am treated only with respect at Chanel, Gucci and other similar stores. There are many beautiful luxury items to purchase, stay away from this store particularly, and spend your money where they appreciate your business and you are treated with respect.
Super friendly staff. Wife and I stopped in for some window shopping and everyone was very friendly. They had some great loafers I tossed on the Xmas list.
Poor customer service. I wasnβt even greeted. They are lucky I still spent $600. I was about to buy a pair of shoes and a new belt but they werenβt in stock. I wonβt be going back to this location next time Iβm in Chicago. They need new employees.
Wonderful shopping experience here. Alyssa was exceptional. She took the time to really listen to what I was looking for and pulled a lot of bags for me to choose from. Very professional and kind. Absolutely will be back.
This company took a product I returned and never gave me my return after 6 months After purchasing many products from this company I have never been treated so poorly. DO NOT buy from here the people are very rude and stuck up and are not willing to work with you. Stay away and go elsewhere Gucci and many others will treat you like a loyal customer. After buying many bags I will NEVER BUY ANOTHER ONE FROM THEM AND AM GOING TO SELL ALL THE ONES I HAVE AND UPGRADE TO SOMETHING BETTER> Their brand is will no longer be hanging in my closet and I will no longer rock their logo on my shoulder. I hope everyone that reads this knows to NEVER go to this store as the people are completely aweful to deal with.
Long story short an older asian lady at the store made me very disappointed. I tried to return my sunglasses which were not a right fit for me. She refused to refund and exchange or anything, she said because there was a little bit of makeup on the frames and dirty. I said they were little dirty since the day that I purchased. (The first sale guy did not clean them good and had fingerprints every where). Then she would not give me a refund, we had to argue and then have a store manager come out, he decided they could do an in store credit. The sales lady gave me just a piece of paper as a store credit for over 750. Not even put on a card or anything. I mean seriously, even at walmart just for 10 they put the money in a card for store credit. What kind of business they are running. Very very disappointing. Will not be returning.
TERRIBLE repeat TERRIBLE service! I am still waiting on a credit for a handbag that I purchased in November! Customer service is a joke. Walmart would offer more competent service than the people they employ. I have now called 5x and the issue has not been resolved. Just a matter of crediting my credit card back, a no brainer. Today I waited to speak to a manager for 35 minutes only to be told that the managers are too busy and to keep waiting! Really? Guess Amex will have to deny the claim. Hard to believe considering the price of their merchandise. Go some place else because they stink
