I have decided to drive a few hours to check Dainese Chicago store and I was blown away by the variety of products. They have it all Mtb gears, Ski gears and of course racing and urban garments. The most impressive part was the customer service I received. Staff is simply genuine, very knowledgeable, professional and passionate about the brand. Not pushy whatsoever like other stores in town I have been. Highly recommend. Thank Gio for the fittings.

This store not only had a welcoming environment but also had knowledgeable staff to help me, especially when I had zero knowledge and this was going to be my first purchase of gear for my bike. Gio and Mario both helped me out and helped answer all the questions I had. Just by looking at me they knew what size of jacket would fit me best and that was pretty amazing. The best part was they were able to ship what I purchased home to me so I didnt have to carry it on the airplane since I traveled to chicago for work. If your interested in purchasing something don’t hesitate and definitely go see them!

Took in a X3000 helmet in for repair as glue was coming off despite only being used less than a dozen times. Gio was very nice and followed up with the repair shop in California and gave a call in response. Only improvement would be if they could have resolved it sooner.

Stopped by today just to look. But after meeting Giovanni we new we had to take something! Giovanni was not only patient with us while trying on VARIOUS helmets, he had a great attitude the whole time. You can tell he loves what he does. Great sales man!

Great store! My wife and I traveled here from two hours away to exchange some online purchases and look at additional gear. Both the salesperson and the manager went above and beyond in helping us figure out our gear. They have a very deep selection of all of Dianeses lines. We came here a few weeks ago to check out the store, ended up buying a tons of cool outfits. I love their jackets and hoodies - keeps you warm in this Chicago weather! I love the quality - its been a few washes and its still looks new. During Covid when I was having a tough time finding the right Motorcycle Gear, Michele (the store manager) and Gio went above and beyond to help.When I visited their store during Covid, I was extremely impressed how serious they took Covid Precautions. Every thing I tried on was sanitized in their special machine before and after.Both Michele and Gios knowledge helped me immensely. They showed me everything that would fit my riding style and keep me comfortable in all Chicago climates. Without speaking to them I wouldve spent a lot of money on the wrong gear.Today in Chicago, there arent too many Motorcycle Stores, I trust..But DAINESE CHICAGO has won my trust with their knowledge and customer service, and I will definitely be BACK!!Thanks guys!

I was ready to spend over 4,000$ and he told be to leave after I explained I had a severe medical condition. Not professional at all dose not deserve anyone’s business. Tried to get in. Waited outside in the rain and staff would not open the door... what is the policy now?So the reply was “read the sign”. We did, and it’s just ok to let customers (there were 2) hang in the rain vs just telling them to come back...

Trying to walk into the store they didn’t even offer me a mask I kno I’m supposed to have one but even at Ducati and cycle gear they gave me a mask and they limit us like cmon then I go get my mask and try and walk in I’m looking at the stuff there floor guy is acting like a jerk thinking we weren’t gona buy stuff his actions weren’t welcoming to the spot at all

The new storage manager Michele has provided great customer service. Had an issue with a pair of jeans ripping and he helped get me a new and better pair. I also left in my hip protectors when I returned the jeans and he called the US Service Department to have them return them to the store!

Susan is very knowledgeable and provides a very comfortable environment. She spent a good amount of time explaining the details of every jacket I tried on. I didnt feel pressured to purchase anything, In the end I came out buying a jacket for my budget that suited my need. I Highly recommend Dainese Chicago, and ask for Susan.

I didnt buy anything because one article of gear in there would have blown my budget for an entire set. This will be the first time Ive ever reviewed a place I didnt spend money in but I was super impressed by the level of costumer service that they provided. Came in to look at some helmets not knowing anything about the brand and they were extremely helpful in trying to help me find the right fit and style. Definitely will come back to this place to pick up some gear onces I have more riding under my belt.

Super knowledgeable staff that clearly loved the product. From the first time I walked in the store, and every time Ive been back, I still get great service. Ive bought a few things, I thought the helmet policy was strict at first, but when I realized a returned helmet could have been dropped (obviously putting my safety at risk) then I understood the policy and completely supported it. Purchasing my first bike later this week so stopped in to check out some gear and wanted to buy some gloves. The woman that worked there (failed to get her name) was INCREDIBLY helpful in going over fitment and protection of the glove options they had. I felt a little bad cause it took me nearly an hour to finally pick out a pair but she was helpful and never got impatient. Also helped me figure out fitment for a jacket as well. Will certainly be going back in the near future for more gear!

The staff are really helpful and want to make sure you get the right stuff. My wife and I both ride, we went into the store looking for pants and maybe suits for track days. The guys that took the time to help we size everything and make sure know what we needed. We will be coming back.

I would have liked more choices in size Medium/Large T-Shirts to rep the brand. I purchased one shirt and belt and will order the jacket online after getting correct fit tips from in store staff. Great staff here! I purchased a D-core undersuit, but after the first use, one of the seams gave way. Once I alerted the store staff, they immediately contacted HQ and got the warranty replacement started. Once approved, I sent my defective suit in and they had the replacement shipped to me within a day. Really wish I lived closer so I could visit more often. (Staff even offered me a bottle of water while I was shopping.)Also, a HUGE perk is the on-site parking behind the store. Since I was on a 2-wheeled road trip, it was great to be able to find close parking in Chicago.

Buyer Beware.I purchased a $1400 helmet from this store during the off season and decided it was too tight and went back 2 days later to exchange it for a larger size. I was told tough luck as there are no exchanges or refunds on any helmet. It didnt matter that the riding season was over, only 2 days later, and the helmet was in brand new condition. Now I have to sell it on Ebay or the bike forums.Try Cycle Gear down the street on Golf Road. They have plenty of Dainese and AGV products with a no hassle return policy. Any of the online stores offer fair exchanges/returns as well.

I dont need to go into the quality of the gear. If you know motorcycles, you know Dainese. That said, Schaumburg is loaded with tons of bike gear shops. But the others cannot touch the amount of gear, the selection and the service the D-store offers. And by service, I dont mean friendliness, the others definitely excel in that too, its the knowledge of their product, its purpose. They know how to be a CLOTHING store that specializes in protection. Its not dirty, they have real changing rooms. They almost always has a size that will fit you perfect (Im 54 male, impossible to find gear that fits LOCALLY anywhere but locally). Prices are right in line with the zilla, the only con is the 10% tax, but thats not really fault on the store. I have gladly bought many items there, to always have a place to ride through, have some free food and coffee watch Moto GP and have access to a wide selection of every gear (try buying pants anyway else if youre not over 56 as a male in the area).I know this sounds like a sales pitch, but every time Ive tried switching to different brands in the last 3 years Ive been shopping here, but always went back. I want to switch to other brands, but never wanna buy just gear to wait for it to return and reshipped if it doesnt fit or more specifically I dont like it (although I have been lucky and have yet to have this issue ordering from the zilla, but never clothing gear).

What a disappointment. Not one thing for women except leather pants in 2 sizes and you guessed it, a pink t-shirt with the Dainese logo on it. I guess women don’t ride. Talked to the only woman on staff and she said that they don’t bring in women’s gear because it doesn’t sell. Hm, maybe it’s because there’s nothing to buy.

Top notch high quality store

I went here two years ago and again recently, the staff remembered who I was and was as helpful as the first time I went.

I bought a AGV helmet off of Revzilla and went to Dainese to have one of the staff tell me whether I bought the right size or not. Walked in and was greeted by the staff. A staff member by the name of Kolton helped me out with my questions and got me sized for the right helmet. Instead of buying the wrong size off of Revzilla and having to exchange it, I wish I took all of my business to the Schamburg Dainese in the first place. Would definitely go there again, nothing but smiles. You guys are awesome.
