This place is annoying. They constantly call with manufactured tales of emergencies, and why I need to buy TODAY.Give me a break.

The Good: Simple is small, which means they can respond to special requests with relative ease. For instance, if you place an online order at 4:30 pm on Thursday and need delivery by 12:00 pm on Friday, you can give them a call and they will try their best to make it happen. Or, if you are looking for a specific item that is not readily available from big box suppliers, call Simple and let them do the leg work for you - they MAY be able to find the item you need. This type of personal customer service is hard to come by these days.The Bad: Simple is small, which means that overall pricing is not on par with big box suppliers. If you select 10 items from Simple, and then select the identical 10 items from any large online suppler, Simple will not have the lowest overall price. Please note that Simple does offer “contract” pricing on select items for business accounts and they will attempt to price match specific items, if requested. However, price matching requires either a phone call or an e-mail to request that price match.The Downright Ugly: Simple is small, which means that they lack the infrastructure and technology that large suppliers possess. I order from Simple 2 to 4 times per month and it seems that at least once a month, there is an issue with an order. From incorrect pricing on invoices, to incorrect/incomplete orders, to unannounced price increases on “contract” items, to their website not reflecting current pricing. Far too much of my time has been wasted checking, re-checking, and then rectifying errors.As their name implies, ordering office supplies should be easy, straightforward, uncomplicated, and effortless. My experience with Simple Distributors has been anything but.

I order for 12 different Youth Facilities throughout the Illinois area,and I will tell you the BEST thing I’ve ever done was leaving the big box stores for SImple Distributors. I order one day,and I get it the very next!I even get SAME DAY SERVICE FREE!! If my order is in by 9am!!They are a one stop shop.We can order snacks,supplies,janitorial and IT items and get ALL of it the very next day or same day!! I don’t have to pay upfront,they bill me open terms,send the invoices right downtown to my corporate office.As a small business I love them!Their service beats the hassles I went through from big box stores,shortened orders and lack of customer service!! Thank You to the entire staff at Simple Distributors,for making my life easy and the free cookies!! Kate you are the best. I will continue to recommend you’re company to everyone I know!!

Im a property manager and Ive been using this company for almost ten years. The owner takes orders himself and assures fast and accurate deliveries. He delivers next day and will on many occasions send complimentary treats!
