I bought two bottles of spray went home and one was empty nothing in the bottle. I called them and I was told that they can not replace it. Sad indeed and I have been shopping here for over 7 yrs were is your customer satisfaction.

There is the best place for medicine, you will not find anywhere better. Yuge, Guang, and all the other staff are truly gifted healers and I trust all of them with my health more than any doctor. I have come in here for various reasons and never have I been turned away no matter what I have been suffering from. I drive an hour to come here once a week and will as long as they remain in business.

Exceptional staff paired with something for every ailment you may have. Helped my sister, my mother, and myself many times for a variety of things and its always affordable with better care than any doctor Ive ever had. This is a well stocked Chinese apothecary with a very prompt and professional staff. I was happy they had what I needed and I did not have to look anywhere else. They have a wide range of items including herbs, supplements, ginseng and teas. We are very fortunate to have a resource like this in Chicago.

This herb shop was here in Chicago for about 33 years so far. They have great knowledge in traditional Chinese medicine, great selections of ginseng, green tea, and many natural medicine. They even have an acupuncturist now! Most of all I enjoy the warm atmosphere Yuge and his staff provide!

The place is in Chinatown right on Cermak, a few doors east of the Jaslin Hotel/Starbucks. There is street parking for $2/hr on Cermak or there is a parking lot next to the red line a block away.As you walk in, you are greeted with the heavy aroma of Chinese herbs. They have pretty much anything you need for any type of ailment, from hair treatments to toe treatments and for all your organs in between. The guy behind the desk, Yuge (pronounced You-Gee), he is super friendly, extremely knowledgeable about everything in the store, and speaks both superb English and Chinese. I recommend going next door to the acupuncture clinic, that they also own, to have a prescription of herbs written up for you or you wont know what to get. Once you get it, they (Yuge) will instruct you as to how to cook/ boil your herbs to make a tea and will tell you how often to drink it. A consult next door will cost you $25 and usually takes walk ins, but appts are definitely recommended so you dont have to wait too long.Each herbal tea bag will run you $8-10. The ceramic pot that they sell to cook the herbs in will run you $15-20. They also have a pill or powder form of the herbs too if you dont have time to boil them, but Ive learned boiling them is the most effective.They are not cash only like most establishments in Chinatown. They do accept credit cards. With so many herbal stores in Chinatown, it can be overwhelming to pick one. Im glad my friend recommended this place to me. Itll forever be my Chinese herb spot :)
