When a customer is buying heavy bags of of lawn products please say let me help you to the car and help you load. The cashier did not ask and the man sitting can no longer assist. The young girl in parking lot asked if I needed help half way through, I was too upset about poor customer service to say yes. Dont ask just assume someone needs help loading 10 bags. Maybe offer plastic to protect car. Prices are too high to not give good customer service.

My go to place for odds and ends. They have a good selection of items. Sometimes its easier and way faster to go the Edgebrook Ace than Home Depot or Lowes. Sales associates are always friendly and willing to help too!

I bought a door mat a few days ago. Once I unrolled it, I saw that it was a flimsy cheap mat with no grip. I went to return it only a few days later, with receipt in hand and they told me they couldnt accept the return because the packaging was open. I brought the tape that was around it with half of it still on the mat and they refused to accept it. So basically, if you buy anything there that happens to be broken, if the package was opened (which is the only way you would discover its broken), it cant be returned. Im stuck with a cheap $25 door mat. This is why you should go to Home Depot, Lowes, etc.

Ace Hardware really is the place with the helpful hardware man ... or woman. But mostly they have so many useful things & they are very helpful!

I like to support local businesses. Menards and Home Depot right down the street but I chose the little guy. Little did I know that the little guy has some shady return policies. Chalk it up to lesson learned. Big guys getting my money in the future. So before you buy, take out your magnifying glass and find the 8x10 picture frame by the door that outlines their return policy in maybe 8 font.

Nice hardware store. I needed metric allen wrenches to fix my handle bars on my bicycle, they knew where they were and helped me get them. Just what I needed to get back on the road.

Cant say much since this was my first experience and a very short one too. I was looking for a screw that I went to 3 auto parts store and Home Depot for. I went inside should it to the guy and he gave it to me in a minute. Seems like they know their stuff.

An excellent neighborhood hardware store. I have another Ace closer to me, but the staff here at Edgebrook are much more knowledgeable and helpful. This is a big, clean and well lit store thats well organized and easy to shop. They also have a great donation program for local schools if you opt not to take a plastic bag.

By far the worst store experience I have ever had. Tom was sooooo rude to me. We literally had a screaming match which turned into other customers getting involved. But Glen did an amazing job of rectifing the situations and provided stellar customer service. If I could rate them twice Id give the entire experience 1 star and Glens problem solving skills 5 star.

Ace hardware, in general, is awesome. There are actually people working there that want to, and can, help - unlike the big box stores. I like to roam the aisles a bit after I get what I came for. I always find something I need. I one brought an old door knob that I couldnt get to stay on. They rethreaded the knob - no charge. I just brought in my screen door to be re-screened - for about $10 more than just buying a roll of screen. Anyway, go there and give them your money, Home Depot doesnt need it.

The team have been polite and helpful during my two visits since moving to the area in October. The first was for winterizing items and had some keys cut. The second for a rare two pin extension cord which they also had in stock. They have a carpark however with road construction on Devon right outside the store its best to park a block or three out and walk unless you have an intimate knowledge of the location.

This is an amazing hardware store. They have everything and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Plus, they also help local groups.

Horrible phone call .I called in to check if someone can help me with size of box of a snowblower, the guy who answered just in a mean way said : we’re sold outttt! Then I tried to ask another question and he just hung up, I called again and he answered and I told him I was about to ask another question then he doesn’t even bother to apologize and he said : what’s your next question? I told him I would like to know if you have something similar to it, and he said no ! We only have a 18” left. I asked him if he can help me with the size of the box of the one he said they’re sold out, he said I have no clue! I told him I think you should go to phone classes. He raised his voice and said HAVE A GOOD DAY SIR! then he hung up. Shame the Ace I always dealt with is such a great place but they didn’t have the snow blower I’m looking for.

Do not patronize this store!Easily the most unapologetically rude manager ever!Unless you have been a regular since the stores inception, the manager treats you like an idiot and will not make exchanges and quite blatantly will not compromise.In this day and age of the big box store,You should treat paying customers with more respect and kindness. I spent nearly $700 in six months at your store and when I needed to make an exchange you rudely turned me away. Thats $1400 a year you are losing out on from me.I hope others read this and take heed as I am sure in not the only one you have treated so poorly.

Quick service and convenient lot

My water heater was leaking so I asked Joe (the little guy) for his advice.He said No Way do you want to mess with that....you can get hurt ...your house can catch on fire You need to call a plumber.He happened to have a card in his pocket.I called his friend.GUESS WHAT. It cost me $200.00 and all I needed was a $12.00 part which installs like a light bulb.This was by no means a dangerous job.He just took advantage of me because I am a woman!!!!
