The owner, Frank, is the best. His prices are reasonable and he is really knowledgeable. Instead of buying a whole package of screws when u only need one, you can go there and buy 1 screw for 3 cents and his staff will treat you with the same courtesy as if you had spent $100. The staff can answer any of your hardware related questions with certainty. I can not recommend this store enough. It is so nice to have a little ma and pa type gem still in our neighborhood.

Every associate at this location is friendly, patient and informative. As a new home owner I’ve had to make many small trips for various items and the team was always available to answer questions or point me in the right direction. I would highly recommend visiting this location for odds and ends home repair needs.

These guys are incredible! Always courteous, helpful and very informative. Ive taken my bikes to them for tune ups and repairs and I cant believe the work they do for little to nothing. I have taken my bikes to bike shops where they charge me a fortune for doing absolutely nothing.

I visit the shop at least a couple of times a month. Usually, someone asks me if they could help me find something right when I walk in the store. Their customer service is great, and if I have a list of five things I need to buy, they can help me find them and ring me up in under five minutes. Plus, they have knowledgeable staff who can tell me what to buy and how to use it. Finally, they offer a host of services such as knife sharpening, bicycle repair, servicing of lawnmowers, and cutting shades/blinds to size.

I love this place. Small place with a little bit of everything. And if they dont have it they can order.

I needed a light bulb for an old fixture. None of the big box stores carried it because it was not a big seller. Staff at one big box didnt even care particularly. The salesman at this West Rogers Park location helped me locate the bulb which was in stock and ordered extra for me to have at home as back ups. When the bulbs came in they called me immediately. Service was prompt, helpful, friendly and courteous. Thanks, it was very refreshing.
