This is such a great neighborhood store. It has most of what you need for living in the city. The staff is very friendly and incredibly helpful.

Paul was extremely helpful. Went for lightbulbs and small nails, had exactly what I needed. He also gave advice on installing the lightbulbs. Cash only!

This place is fantastic! The man who runs the place has been doing this for 50 years, and he knows what hes doing. I love supporting small businesses le this one because the people are so friendly and they always help you out. If I have any hardware needs, I will definitely be going back! Also, I had a couple of keys copied, and he had them done before I even knew he started. I had a great experience and i highly recommend this store for any and all your hardware needs!

Chiarugi Hardware is a great neighborhood hardware store that you can use to get in-and-out quickly for your home improvement runs. Their staff is knowledgeable and friendly, provide advice even if they dont carry some of the items they are recommending in-store. They also duplicate keys which they do really quick.

One of last family owned hardware stores that offers magnificent customer service and high quality products and key duplication services. No place manufacturers duplicate keys with the amount of quality and craftsmanship that Charge Hardware does. They have a nice selection of tools and repair materials that will last a long period of time but perform at peak efficiency. The staff will always go out of their way to assist any customer and answer questions honestly. A rare treasure that I hope and pray continues to remain in business for several generations to come. Some of the nicest people youll ever meet. The people there went out of his way to ensure I got what I needed.Yes, Joe W, because this is a smaller store you will not find the selection that the big (orange, red, and blue) chain stores have. However, I personally have found everything that I have gone in there for (power outlets, naptha, sand paper, etc). They have good selection of hand tools and even have some electrical conduit and copper pipe!I have been working in air-con and refrigeration 25 years, have visited many hardware stores, and rarely feel compelled to leave reviews.

They always have what Im looking. Usually something odd, but they have it in stock. Very nice people. Certainly worth a stop.

This old time hardware store is a gem. Its owner operated. Dont want to have to buy 500 screws at the Home Despot when you only need a few? Go see Paul Chiarugi. You will walk out with a bill under a buck. He cuts keys that always work, He cuts glass and screen, sells paint and brushes. He even sells wine making equipment and makes his own vino. He knows his stuff and is always happy to answer questions about your projects. They also sell Italian pride gear and Taylor Street T-shirts.

This place is a real throwback-- great store. The manager is a very friendly and knowledgeable guy. You just cant get quality service at major chains.
