Good for last minute items, parking lot is tiny. Produce section could be better but overall good for specialty groceries.
I am super exited about Joong Boo opening this location. At the beginning I was so confused when I found out about it because outside it says warehouse so I didn’t think they also had a market section but after a post of someone in Facebook I decided to visit the store. I was literally in shock when the cashier told me they have been open for 7 months, I told her management need to promote it more because so many people didn’t know about it and even here in Google it was saying Hi Mart market instead of Joong Boo which I edited myself. The stores it’s HUGE compare to the one on kimball, it has everything and more since it’s big. Only thing I didn’t see at this location was an inside Korean restaurant but for the rest it was EXCELLENT. I really love coming to joong boo and now even more with this location so close to my home. As a huge south Korean culture fans, I would say my only recommendation is that they should put some Korean music as background like H mart does, it makes you feel you are in SK when you listen to their native music. Other than the music highly recommended. 🇰🇷🇰🇷
Love this place. Not as many fresh food like the on on 3333 location but I still can find most things I need. Also try their instant coffee mix. It will make you morning much easier.
Good value found bargains and customer appreciation 👏
I was not expecting a market. I thought I was just a supply warehouse. Very happy surprise. Veggies are fresh, but a bit limited. Fruits are good. Be careful with the seafood and meats. Freezer burn found on some of the fish and discoloration on some of the meats. Good place to grab a few Asian items. Small parking lot. The inside of the market is really nice and big. Its basically an extension of the Kimball and Belmont store, just no restaurant or fresh Korean food or dumplings in front.
I was there today in the afternoon. My first visit. Great place. There was so much more than I expected. The cashier told me it was affiliated with H Mart. The staff was very nice. The ladies at the register were very helpful.
Love Asian food! When we cook, we want authentic! This is the best place to buy authentic spices and products.
I love this place and it’s existence, so so convenient and a nice atmosphere! plus a great selection of yummy things and cooked food and household stuff and even a little filipino snack section! great little hidden location
Bright and organized with all of the things we were looking for - I am really happy to have found this gem.
Super helpful staff. Wide variety of product and now a full grocery section. Love popping in here for specific things and discovering all sorts of new to me items!
Just discovered this asian store and i like it when i shopped there, wouls visit again! it needs to close 9 or 10, 8pm is a little too early in my opinion
Good groceries and man the Cafe has some really good and affordable eats. The Mandu and bi bim bop is really goos.
Best place to buy Fish and good fruit, love apples from this store sweet. A lot of other stuff you can buy I like Korean cookies.
I went here for the first time and i’m glad i did. Def worth going to. Friendly staff especially the cashiers.
They have a great selection of all things asian. They have great produce. Definitely check out the housewares and appliances while youre there.
This spot is a hidden little gem. I do like the other location as well, but sometimes I prefer to come to this location as its not as busy and they have a lot more options for each section. This is my go to spot when Im too lazy to drive out to the burbs. Theyve always had what I was looking for or going to buy.
This place has turned into your neighborhood korean grocery store!! So nice! Its small but definitely worth the visit. Plus there was a very friendly older gentleman who greeted me and was so nice!
This market is great! Fresh fruits and veggies. Housewares. Fresh meet and seafood. Prepped food to go. And so many goodies!
Great authentic Asian groceries. May need Google Translate to identify labeling of ingredients.
This is a much more spacious than its original location on Kimball. You dont have to worry about tight spaces or leaving your cart behind to get through an aisle. Though bigger than the other 2 locations the Glenview one is has a better set up and easier to navigate. Im just happy there is another location to a great grocery store
Very niceAll the staff are friendly and they do have everything u need for cooking!
Big, clean, and has a wide variety of products.
Ive been to all 3 locations in Chicagoland, and this is my favorite location for Joong Boo. This warehouse market, the name itself tells its a huge place and they have pretty much everything I need. I think I already spent over $1000 in one week. And I need more stuffs, Im going back sometime next week. Awesome business!
Good place!!!They don’t sell alcohol.
Well stock with Asian groceries. Does not have the kitchen as they do in other locations, but have prepared food
Spacious, clean, and well organized. Great place to get all of your Korean grocery staples. They also have great quality, well priced produce, meat, poultry, and seafood. The staff was very friendly. Well be back!
Nice big aisles compared to the other chicago location. Very nice
Asian and American foods Joong Boo has and sell both kinds at fair prices.
Good korean super market
Nice place and very clean
The seafood is pretty expensive
Possibly the greatest grocery store of all time
Go here at least once a week.
This is horrible place to shop grocery. Don’t go there.
Everything I needed with a very kind staff.
Nice
Finally! A Chicago location with parking and soups to go!
2 ⭐
Friendly staff and cheap and fresh products.
The cashier at the front was very kind, too, and the young woman who packed her (I dont know her name) quickly put it in the box, and she was very grateful for her work.
Super clean
