This is a good company. I bought a product sold by Kobi, but fulfilled by Amazon (on Amazon of course). Amazon in fulfilling the order sent me the completely wrong product (a floor heating wire worth >$500) and refused to do anything to help make it right immediately despite my explanation of a time deadline and Amazon management acknowledging it was Amazons mistake (Amazons response was too bad, send it back, when we receive it, well send you another one [and hope it is correct when received is two weeks or more]).However, I then called Kobi Tools, and even though it wasnt their mistake, they agreed to immediately overnight me the correct wire on my promise to send the incorrect wire back to them (to treat as an exchange). They didnt have to do this for a random internet customer who was shafted by Amazon, but they did. This positive review to share my story of their help seems to be the least I can do to show my appreciation for a company going out of their way to make something right even when they didnt cause the problem. Thank you guys again!

As a Nationwide Contractor doing Hotel Resort Renovation, Im always in need of a Specific Tool that you CAN NOT get at your local Do it yourself stores. This store has almost everything you need so far as a Specialty tool for cutting stone or Granite! Its tucked away in Chicago on the Northside, but thats okay. David was great! So personable! His follow up on my questions was terrific! I would definitely come back to Kobi Tools because of him.

David is the best counter man in the business. I’m a general contractor so I deal in all trades and spend a good part of my time in different supply houses ordering material. I have to say that if all sales guys were like David my day would run slit smoother. The last time I came in it seemed as if they were short handed and he took care of every customer running back and forth and did it with a smile on his face and didn’t compromise service at all. Keep it up and nice work!👍He makes building Chicago a little easier.

Handling time was slow as hell when I paid for expedited shipping. I ordered a $16.50 product which was necessary to complete a shower repair. My spouse is already mad that the shower fix is taking so long and we cant use the shower in normal fashion until this project is complete. Hence,why I paid $33.02 for 2 day delivery on a $16.50 item. I ordered Thursday night, so sure they cant process the order until a Friday. But you bet, I expect the product to be processed Friday. So then I expected two days...arrival on a Monday. But the tracking didnt even show that the item was handed to FedEx until Monday 9:10PM. So they know I paid extra for expedited but then took Friday, Saturday and all of MONDAY to even hand it to FedEx. Three days? Come on. Thats really slow. So now the product is expected to reach me by the end of the day on Wednesday. Im receiving a product a WEEK later when I paid for 2 day shipping. This is unacceptable. As an example, I ordered another product from another company on that same Thursday and the item is scheduled to also arrive on Wednesday and I DID NOT pay for expedited shipping. Standard ground UPS service. So what a waste of money to Kobi Tools. They should issue a refund.

On May 2019 we ordered two sinks from Kobi tools through David F.  One of these was a Kitchen Sink combo that comes with its own Grid. They were out stock of these Grids for this sink, as well as all the stores that carry this sink, nation wide.  A lot of the stores were not willing to ship the Sink without the Grid.  Kobi Tools store offered us to ship the sink and when they receive the Grid they will ship it later on.  So, I was able to complete the remodeling project using the kitchen sink we wanted without interference.  They were excellent on shipping all items including the items on back order were shipped on time as promised at no charge.David is a very knowledgable salesman, easy to deal with and always available.  I recommend this store to anyone. You will get the stuff you order on time and at a reasonable price.

I recently ordered 511 Miracle Porous Plus Penetrating Sealer. One of the boxes I received contained another Miracle Sealer. Accidents can happen. I phoned Kobi Tools and fouond them to be very friendly and they apologized for the mistake. They emailed me a label for the returning merchandise and shipped the correct shipment to me, which I received in four days. I was very pleased with the outcome and found them to be a friendly and honest business to deal with.

Service is good the only problem is their product I bought a sink here for about 100$ less do yourself a favor spend 100$ more and get a good sink the one i got rusts all over its already installed so too late to exchange it.
