Good Games is an exciting new addition to table top Gaming in Chicago. They have fair prices and a huge selection. You can find every niche including miniatures, collectible card games, puzzles, and board games! The game floor has tons of space and there are events every night. The staff is very courteous as well.

Had my first pop in to this lovely local game store and they were so nice. The people working at the time were nice, helped me find what I needed and the place was spotless. Their rewards program is also fantastic compared to any other store Ive been to. Definitely looking forward to stopping in again from now on.

This store is a treasure. They have a wonderful selection of games, and the staff is extremely knowledgeable. The team in the store spent a lot of time with me helping to find the perfect gift for my nephew. I will definitely be back... They have a perfect selection of classics plus new games, so theres plenty of reasons to return.

My boyfriend and I have gotten into the hobby of board gaming over the pandemic and we absolutely love stopping by Good Games to browse their selection! They are always helpful and knowledgable, providing good recommendations. Craig is such a sweetheart and I had the pleasure of corresponding with him last spring/summer about ordering. In town for vacation and the family thought it would be amazing to find a game store. We had plans to get a board game to play at our rented for the week apartment to pass some of the time. The store was well kept, well stocked, and inviting. The biggest praise I want to give though is to the staff. We had a specific need and their knowledge of the products and the willingness to help above and beyond, helped us find exactly what we wanted. Excellence personified.

Nice shop with good variety of games, art things, collectors cards, kites, and puzzles! Games are expensive if you dont know what to expect, but theyre all unique and quality, probably worth the price. We bought a puzzle that was also a game and a game with cute animals on it! Not a very professional description, but we have yet to play it so Im not sure how else to describe it. Anyway, worth a stop if youre into games and fun little shops!

Very helpful staff here located near some other small bakery shops which is a great area to be in. The games selection is not too large but they have enough for the average board game enthusiast. Theyve got a lounge area where you can sit and play. This area isnt the most aesthetically pleasing but if youre just there to hang out its fine.

Love this store. Good selection of products, snacks, and they have a very helpful and welcoming staff. Busy with weekly events, too.This is not a downside and has *never* stopped us from going, but in the dead of winter the store can get chilly/drafty. If you get cold easily (like I do) I recommend an extra layer or two. I cant imagine how tough it would be to keep a store warm in subzero temps!

Very good, clean store with a lot of weekly events. Ive mainly come for Tuesday MTG drafts and Im always impressed with the turnout - weve had 3 drafts each time I was there. They payout is generous as well. They have a good stock of board games as well as some puzzles and toys, additionally they have stock for traditional tabletop RPGs such as rulebook and figures. Overall Im very happy with this store and am willing to drive out of my way to visit.

The Ultimate Friendly Local Game Store in the city of Chicago.

My friends from work and i didnt have anywhere to properly play Dungeons and Dragons and i met someone online who showed us this place. They have a great table top game selection and do Pokèmon and Magic the Gathering stuff. The backroom is large and full of tables which are free to use for anyone who just walks in. Its a very friendly atmosphere and the staff are very polite and professional and very helpful if you need it. Its a very good location, theres plenty of other shops nearby, including good food places. The ONLY complaint i have is the lack of parking, but that wasnt enough to keep me from giving 5 stars! I really enjoy this place and i intend to continue going there as long as i can!

The staff especially Lauren are very friendly and knowledgeable about their Games and MTG. Most of them have in depth experience with Mtg and or are Judges, being very enjoyable get their perspective on the game state among other news. Its been refreshing breath of air to still have more stores in Chicago that fire off modern tournaments events consistently. I recommend the store to any who are in the Logan Square area.

The mtg scene here is picking up fast. There were a ton of people for Wednesday modern and everyone is super friendly. :)

Great place to play board games with your friends! They have about 4 dozens of board games that you can borrow for free to play there, plus a giant collection that you can buy. Not too crowded when we went (Sunday afternoon).

I went in (did not buy anything...sorry) but its extremely clean and organized! Prices are comparable to any other shop, and the gaming space is huuuge. Definitely will stop by when I am looking to purchase some new games!

This store is super friendly! Two aspects of this store sold it to me: 1) theres a wide open back area for playing whatever youd like! And 2) i went in to buy a bag of skittles and the cashier gave me a dime, 10/10 will enjoy again

Cards are everywhere, customer service is not. I’ve only met Chuck and Lauren there but they are both on top of their game when it comes to both knowledge of the games, and how they treat people. I’ve enjoyed every interaction I’ve had there and their personal kindness to people seems to tend to keep drawing back the other nice people who play. It’s a great environment, and I can’t recommend it enough.

A great place to find a wide range of non-electronic games for the family. Shop with your kids or find really fun party games. A wide range of card/board games and jigsaw puzzles for snowbounders. A very addictive and fun store. I will return!

This is a great space for playing Magic! There are plenty of tables. The judges running the events are friendly. They start on time, and they have a good prize payout. Additionally, the space is well-kept and that is always appreciated.

If you are looking for a new place to play Magic the Gathering in Chicago, this is the best place. They have a very freindly and welcoming magic scene. A pleasant gaming store in a very nice neighborhood. I went there for a tournament and the staff were friendly and ran the event well.

I went on a Saturday for a Pokemon League Challenge; the space is very nice, can fit about 60 players maybe? There are playmats on the tables already so no need to bring a playmat, with some chargers. Pairings are posted on the TV so you dont have to crowd around the posting. Props to Matt for running an efficient tournament!
