This space is beautiful to shop in. Not only is it large and spacious, it is artistically arranged. This is a unique place to come and shop for your plant needs no matter where you are located in the city.Their selection of plants not only ranges from your normal standard choices, but you are able to find plants that would be perfect gifts for someone who collects plants; and wants those unique hard to find items.This place is also peaceful and reminiscent of childhood themes. If you are an 80s baby, I assure you, that you will find plants in here that your grandparents had and maybe even some pottery that takes you back as well.The cost is normal maybe a smidge higher than some plant spots, with sale items being a steal, some plants more costly than others and some are just amazing and totally worth the cost. It will serve you well to take your time and really look through the whole environment, because some of the plants I found were a great bargin. If you are looking for hard to find large pottery, this is gonna be your spot. If you are looking for one of a kind plants, this is your spot.The staff was welcoming and answered all my questions.And no....im not being paid for this.....Webber is that awesome that I wanted to leave this message, cuz I know I have been sleeping on this place.Without a doubt, I will be back.

So many amazing plants and really fair prices. Great selection of planters too. The clearance section is large and generous. There is a friendly chicken that wanders around. Not much parking and the entrance was hard to find, though. Neat little getaway in the city. I would definitely come back. I like that they offered to put your plants in a pot for you. Most places dont do that!

They are EXTREMELY helpful. I have no idea about plants, gardening, etc. I just know what looks nice.Their employees walked me around and explained perennials, annuals, tools, supplies, etc. They asked me about how much sun shines where my garden will be, what time of the day, how much water, measurements of garden, how do I feel about maintenance, etc. I didnt have all of the information so I took some time, gathered the data and came back. I met with a different employee who was just as helpful as the previous employee. Therefore making this a seamless process.I recommend this place for everyone. I will definitely be back.

Its such a great space and a fun plant shop. You could lose your mind with the huge selection of planters! Pretty much anything youd need for plants can be found here. Also, they do nice family friendly events. I was part of this weekends Galentines day and they had a terrarium making table and I was selling my jewelry MojoOwl. It was really fun and some kids got my crystals and put them into the planters.

Called ahead to check for two specific plants that were sold out in a few other shops closer to me. The associate was knowledgeable, attentive and found the two plants in stock at a great price. Looking forward to going back for more!

I had a great time here - the selection covers a little bit of everything, the staff is very sweet, and they have plants that need some rehab for sale (more places should do this). CW even gave me some used pots! This is the best neighborhood garden center Ive been to in Chicago, hands down. Go!

Great local gardening shop with a huge selection of indoor and outdoor plants, plus all of the tools and pots youll need to care for them. Lovely and knowledgeable staff always available to talk us through care requirements.

All flower pots, small ones are 5.99; so budget appropriately. Not Home Depot or Lowes pricing of course. Great selection. Not much for roses though.

I asked them to split a memorial plant into 2 pots and they were kind and did an excellent job! Sincerely great selection, my plants from last year have all flourished and are double the size. They care about their products and Ill be back soon. Bonus cute kitty running around!

I was asked if I needed help within 15 seconds of getting there for the first time. That would be impressive for a jewelry story, let alone a nursery. Very friendly & knowledgeable staff. The manager/owner pulled some out of season seeds from the back for me (thank you!). Wont be going anywhere else.Good prices, large selection. I hope they stay open during the winter!

Beautiful selection, and many harder to find items here. Where else in the city of Chicago can you find: beehives, free-range chickens, acres of fruits and vegetables growing in a manure compost mix, a sidewalk refrigerator with fresh fruit pies inside, annuals and perennials, ladybugs by the container, and $500+ Houseplants?I challenge anyone to tell me where else this type of eclectic goodness can be found, all in one place?!?

This was my first time here and I loved it. Great selection of indoor plants!! Soo many different kinds of pots (which is what I was looking for). Super helpful and knowledgable staff. I have cats and most nurseries I go to cannot tell you if plants are toxic.... they have a list on the register and answered right away when I asked! Love that! She also gave me a plant care sheet for what I bought which was such an impressive extra touch! Loved that! Also they have a rewards system! I will be back for that hoya!!

Great prices on Christmas trees, garland and wreaths! Theyll even help you tie it to your car and offer delivery and installation for those who cant get out to get a tree themselves!

I arrived at 4:50 pm on Saturday 29th. Closing time is 5:00pm. Associate says “we close our gates at 4:45 but we close at 5:00pm”. So unprofessional! If your closing time is 4:45 than put that as your closing time not 5:00pm. Please go shop somewhere else with more professionalism!

So many big bright flowers, one could feel like they were lost in Wonderland. It is nice to know that companies that help to till the land still exist. And I saw the biggest sunflower of my life.

We shop here several times a year for all kinds of things like bulbs, bushes, trees (both for the yard and later for Christmas), soil, you name it! The staff here is always incredibly helpful, cheerful and knowledgeable about everything Ive ever asked them. They truly enjoy helping customers have a beautiful home and will point you in the right direction, even if that direction is a lower priced option than you were thinking if it will do better in your yard. Was looking for a large plant for my condo which has minimal light. Sara was extremely helpful and explained everything to me. I used to go to Home Depot every couple months for a new plant because it would die all the time and there was never anyone around who had any knowledge on this stuff. Amazing, friendly place! Im a houseplant hoarder and they have a pretty big selection, and I got to cross off 4 plants from my wishlist and thought about getting more. Prices are fair for most things, sometimes expensive sometimes cheap! I was given a box to carry my things, offered help but wasnt being hounded, which I like. For the friendly faces, selection, and knowledge, Ill go out of my way to come back.

Its sad when you support local businesses and they leave a bad taste in your mouth. If you value customer service never shop here. I tried to get an replacement for a $5 dollar flower that fell apart when I got it home. They refused to accept the reality of my story without me bringing in the plant. The plant was dead!! and only $5!! It would have cost me more in gas to go get it. Their excuse was that they would go broke if they had that policy. Ha!! Like I would drive out of my way with a receipt for a $5 plant just to rip them off.Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere.
