This. Shop. Is. Magic! So many fabrics...as many as I could want anyways...at your fingers. I went in with my wee one in tow and the folks working the floor carried all the fabric rolls to the cutting area for me. I think that is protocol there but it is NICE.Everyone was very helpful and nice. I ended up spending more than my original plan but not because of the prices (which are GREAT) but because the selection just left me inspired and I now have an extra project or two.If you are searching for fabric for a project big or small...come here. I was directed here after having such an unpleasant experience at textile discount outlet. Customer service was beyond my expectations, employee directed me over to his wool fabric, after not finding the matching fabric I needed he then directed me to another fabric facility. I will be doing business with them in the future, over all great customer service that speaks HIGHLY of them !

From the first time I walked into the store while visiting IL to the Website, to the great customer service.I think they have an amazing selection of yarns, very knowledgeable staff who are ready and willing to help with all questions.I just wish I had more time to knit!!!!

This is not Joann. They do have some of your standard fleeces, prints and knits but they specialize in special occasion kinds of fabrics. Beaded laces, taffeta and bridal satins are mixed with eye popping prints and amazing beaded pieces. Very reasonable prices and helpful staff!

RUDE AND OVERPRICED! I’ve been here a couple times and each time the price on a particular fabric has been different. They change the prices depending on who is asking! I know because I’ve sent others in to test it out. Sometimes the owner And workers are pleasent other times not so much. I guess it depends on the day or how you look. Save yourself some time and MONEY and visit another fabric store that cares about service and not just a quick BUCK!

Love New Rainbow Fabrics. They have a wide range of fabrics from very inexpensive to high end. I always find what I need from their selection. The employees are also very helpful!

Stopped into the garment district twice so the wife could find some great prices on fabric. Went into ML and was amazed by the selection. Anything and everything a seamstress or tailor would need. The only step back I noticed was the prices were higher than most everywhere else in the small chunk of the garment district weve shopped in. Definitely recommended!

This place is great!!! They have staff that helps you find whatever you need. They also have sewing knowledge so if youre working on a project and need advice, they help with that too. Best of all, the prices are much much lower than the competition.

The array of fabrics is always amazing! You find fabrics that you see on television and nothing is the same. The staff is always willing to Help and the owner is excellent I always get top service from here in fabrics as well as customer service.

This is my go-to fabric store for most fabrics especially any Indian or African fabrics. Also they are the only ones in Chicago that have the interlinings for suits and the traditional shoulder-pads.

This is my favorite fabric store. They have a great selection of apparel fabric. Ive gone there several times looking for something really specific, and somehow they always have what I need. Plus, it feels good to support a family business.

The owner is very prejudice and, rude. I was asking him if he price matched,I was telling him about the price at another store that the price was $5 dollars cheaper he called me a liar, and that he was born in fabric, and I needed to show him! All I asked was do you price match. This is not the first time he and his wife talk to people very disrespectful. They try to rush to buy and get you out the store. PLEASE DO NOT SHOP HERE WHEN YOU ARE NOT TOLERATED!!
