Like everybody said 5 star service, authentic African apparel with tailors in the spot to measure your dimensions and have your outfit ready before I leave town. Usually a day or two. Trustworthy business to hat makes you feel glad you shopped there.

Great shop with a few locations in Chicago. I used to shop at the Hyde Park location all the time and they have great items there, including jewelry and clothing. Now that I live out of state Im using their website to buy shea butter and black soap. Very reasonable prices and good quality for both products and the shipping is fast and reasonably priced as well. Will continue to shop here.

I love, love this African shop! Take your time because there is so much to see and purchase. This is my favorite spot to pick up outfits for special events and conferences.Alasane and Dominic are so hospitable and treat you like family. You can even get custom made outfits as well.

Absolutely loved this place. They have great clothing beautiful and well made. They also have jewelry,moringa seeds black salt and other natural products. Candles, material, a tailor and so much more. I will be spending too much time and money in this place

Their floor is stocked to overflowing with African style clothing, (Male and Female), fabric, jewelry, perfumes and in-store tailoring. Street parking only.

Once youve shopped at either location, or had a garment made by one of their skilled tailors, you may find it increasingly difficult to stay away. The service is always impeccable and personal. Highly recommended!

It was the first time I had gone into an African shop looking for a full-length African skirt the young man that helped me even showed me how to properly put it on. They had such a variety even Fabrics that you could have made there oils truly traditional.

Found a last dress last minute for an event. Large selection of African clothing! Good prices and good service.

Women of all professions must visit. Unique oils, essential body butters. I bought a white dress from this afrocentric boutique and it is exquisite. This is where I purchase my shea butter because it is authentic.

I love this store! The customer service is impeccable and the trendy African attire is nothing short of amazing! I, not only purchased several out fits but we teamed up for a Fashion show and all of Kayras outfits on the models were very well received. Kayras even gained some new customers. Thank the Creator for a wonderful store like this. We need more like it.

Great place to shop for African Clothes and Jewelry

If I could rate them with a 0 rating I would. So I originally chose this place because Alasane was very warm and welcoming. I showed them what I wanted it to look like. I was specific about it being a 2 piece dress and needed it by a certain date. They told me it would be ready in 2 weeks. I called a day before the it was due and they told me My dress couldnt be found at the moment.They called me back later that day and told me they found it and it would be ready for pick up the next day. I go to pick it up the next day, and its nothing like what I wanted. Alasane wasnt there and I expressed my dislike of the dress. His employer with the go tee VERY rude and sexist talking about how he has other customers and couldnt tend to me. It was 3 days of going back and forth with them to give me my money back. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT SHOP THERE. its not worth the headache .

I went into the store for the first time today and notice that clothes didnt have a price tags. The individuals make up the price while you are there. The lady that was assistancing me was constantly in her nose and wiping it on her dress while she was talking to me. I felt they were taking advantage of the release of black panther movie.
