I love Chicago Wholesale Fabrics. Whenever I need to make costumes for a play or need special fabric for special projects, I know I can find something here. Its not a place for snobs, it is a great place for creative people with a good eye for good things.

The Disneyland of fabric stores. Amazing variety of fabric but not the best prices (retail). The staff is very helpful. Cant spend too much time looking around as they only validate for one hour with a $20 purchase.

I dont think this store is open anymore--walked there today and there is an Interior Decorating/Design by Appointment-Only store at this location. I asked around at a couple nearby shops and no one seemed to know what I was talking about...

Everything you need for sewing you can find here. So many fun, pretty fabrics. Love this place........Down side:; they only verify parking if you spend 20$ minimum in their store3$ every 15mins so u better make it snappy or be willing to spend over 20$ every time for free parking.
