This is one of the best pawn shops Ive seen why cant more pawn shops be as fair as they are. If your in a bind need cash have something of value bring it on in they will try to help you get what you need to help you out of that bind. Chicago Pawners is a great place to sell or Loan money! I worked with Paul and sold a tennis bracelet and Purse to them, they gave me a good price. I also took out a loan (pawned) a piece of jewelry recently when I was in a jam with money. They were even so thoughtful as to check on me to make sure I got home alright leaving there taking Public transportation

Very disappointed stopped in today to browse. Found a few silver no brand bracelets on the wall by the back counter. I asked for a price and weight. Total just under 4 ozt so melts around $90.00 being 925 silver. The guy said $600.... HOLY COW this Mexican stuff coast less new at the silver depot at the mall... I could see $140 or something under $200 I get you have to make money. But wow....Edit I see your response... I do own a retail store in town and I’d sell that lot for $150 and make $60... never said 4 stores...your prices are outrages cowboy!! :) I see your location and how you do business you should not take advantage of people and rip them off..

I visited Chicago Pawn & Jewelers at the spare of the moment after leaving Nancy B Jefferson Post Office. Before I get into this review I want to throw it out there that I did not like the parking lot for this pawn shop. The way it is design you basically have to drive in then back out once you leave, which could be frustrating if you visit when it is crowded. So what I recommend is going when there are less cars in the parking lot, or get a spot near the entrance. You even have the option to park on that street along Nancy B Jefferson Post Office, too, but be aware of that prior to your visit.While walking into Chicago Pawn & Jewelers I felt like a kid in the candy store, after seeing all the items typical to a pawn shop, plus the prices listed. I went with the goal to seek out a PlayStation 4, which i found and purchased! I had no hassles and was given great customer service, which makes me look forward to my next visit. I left Chicago Pawn & Jewelers with a huge smile on my face because I accomplished something that I procrastinated on for a while. So, if you are like me looking for a gaming console whether that be a X-box One, X-Box 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, etc then look no further because they have them all. Along with the smaller handheld Nintendo game systems.I highly recommend checking out Chicago Pawn & Jewelers if you live in the Garfield Park, West Town & Near West side neighborhood and do not mind used or refurbished items, which this pawnshop has a ton of. Very clean establishment sanitized excellent business

I recently pawned a Nintendo switch at this location. When I returned to pick it up, there had been a swap done on my controllers. The product I brought in was recently replaced by Nintendo and had no imperfections. When I retrieved my switch the very first thing I noticed was that my controllers had very obvious signs of wear on them that could not have been made in the 3 days since the console was sent. If youre pawning anything here I recommend you take photos prior to handing over anything as well as condition in store. Ill be following this review with a formal complaint to the BBB.

Come here to claim UPS pkgs from time to time. The staff is very nice. I’ve not made a purchase but...their technology is outdated AND it’s priced higher than a newer model. Why pay more for an older version when you can get new at a lower price elsewhere? Makes no sense.
