They really go the extra mile - creating 3d renderings of the ring, along with a wax prototype, to ensure every last detail is to your liking. We also purchased our wedding bands here. As with the engagement ring, our bands were made to order. They ensured the diamonds in my wedding band matched the antique diamond in my engagement ring. She worked with my craziness (I am a very detailed oriented person) and didn’t try to oversell or ever come off overpowering with a sales pitch. I knew what I liked and she understood my needs and met them perfectly. I never thought I would be able to replace my original ring, and left with an even better and beautiful ring. Shopping for wedding rings he was a great and fun experience. The first day we visited we were offered wine as a congratulations for our engagement. I worked with Danny Gerut on this over a couple months of looking at rings with my girl friend. Was initially thinking with going with a friend of friend jeweler but thought it best to talk with many jewelers. Went into Ethan Lorde one Wednesday during lunch and was paired with Danny. Of all of the other jewelers we had talked with Danny was most insightful, helpful, patient, and took the time to educate us on the elements of diamonds as much as possible. He took extremely detailed notes on things that my girl friend liked even things that I had missed when we initially were just starting our process. We hardly know anything about pricing, quality, and most of what would go towards making an informed decision. So, when we started looking for a jeweler whom we could trust to work with us to help realize or vision and our budget, we were concerned.We pretty much knew that we had found our guy after our initial consultation with Danny. For my ring, we were looking for a band that would work well with something very specific: my great grandmother’s wedding ring that I wore as my engagement ring. Ethan Lord was my first and only stop (and based off of recommendations).My fiance LOVES the engagement ring that I picked out and at the end of the day, that is all that matters. But, in saying that, my experience in picking out an engagement ring was nothing short of an amazing experience.Its a traumatic experience; buying an engagement ring. I walked in knowing nothing, outside of the fact that I had a budget in mind. It was an incredibly educational experience and I appreciate how Larry took the time to first educate me so that I was not making a colossal mistake. He did not fail me in steering me in the right direction. When it came time to pick the diamond, Larry took painstaking efforts to find the diamond that most matched what we had discussed. These are all things that my naked eye would never have known, but Larry took off the sales hat and put on the consulting hat.Besides engagement rings, they also have a large selection of bracelets, earrings and necklaces. I hope that I have the chance to work with Larry again on the amazing custom jewelry that they make in the future.

Earlier this year, I started to look into rings and planning my proposal. On a small budget and knowing very little about rings or diamonds; I had only time and a desire to learn! I visited 6-8 of the big name jewelry stores downtown and in the suburbs, and learned ID the characteristics of a diamond. While each stone is unique, youll find that most places have similar ring designs and exceptionally similar stones. For me, this put slightly higher value on finding good price.At that point, I decided to check online diamonds as well and visit a local jeweler, and Im so happy that i did! Ethan Lords prices were on par for the online prices; both of which are 50-80% cheaper than most of the other places i visited. It made me so thankful that I didnt spend wayyy too much at one of the bigger stores. More so, their customer service was calm, friendly, not-pushy in any way, and cooperative (as if we were teammates looking together to locate the perfect ring)! I felt much more secure than purchasing online, and would receive free servicing whenever we needed.After a series of events, I was pushed to a sudden tight deadline (moving to a new city in a couple days). Eric was amazing in helping me find a gorgeous diamond that, while not necessarily the biggest, was truly unique and something that my now-fiancee would truly love! He put it in the perfect setting and I was able to discreetly sneak away to pick it up while she was shopping nearby, and I became engage the following morning! At Ethan Lords, I feel like I designed the perfect ring, saved money (actually stayed on the low end of my intended budget), and made a few new friends! I look forward to visiting them again in future years for fashion jewelry.

We worked with Larry to create my engagement ring and both of our wedding bands and were extremely pleased with the process and the results. I pretty much knew what I wanted in terms of shape, carats and setting, but we were very uneducated in the other three Cs. Larry took the time to explain and show us examples of stones of various quality, never trying to up-sell us on aspects that werent important to us. Also, since they design all of the rings themselves, we got exactly what we wanted in the settings, after giving Larry examples of things we did and didnt like. The process was relatively quick and both Larry and Erica were very responsive to questions. They even cleaned my engagement ring right before the wedding so it would be nice and sparkly! I have referred two friends to Larry and they have both been pleased with the results as well.

Dan is the man! He helped us design a custom engagement ring over two months, many sketches, and even more emails. Not only is he insanely talented, he legitimately cares about your situation. Ethan Lorde and all its employees were committed to helping us find the perfect ring. Seriously we looked at five different jewelery stores (and a ton of online diamond shops). Ethan Lord is the place to go, and if you work with Dan then lucky you!
