I am so so pleased with the care and support I received from Lauren. I needed refills for a 50 year old pen and, although it was not an expensive purchase, Lauren treated me like I was her No 1 customer. Cartiers attention to detail and Lauren specifically, have won over a new lifetime customer.
Went to get wedding rings, and Annette was super helpful and knowledgeable! Store atmosphere was superb and nice brand water was also offered, which was pretty classy. As for the jewelry, they are simply to die for!
At least this time I didn’t wait long time until my call was answered, but I bought a ring three weeks ago. Then came to change the size on my weekend, had no appointment since they say no need appointments if you walk in at least an hour before the closing time. Came 2,5 hours before the closure with no appointment driving an hour. They said they couldn’t get any walk-ins cause their system is behind. Isn’t that rude??? They say no need appointments then they can’t take with no appointments after driving an hour and back!!! I could get 2 weeks after, an assistant ordered another size, and said they would call within 2 days. It’s been a week never called regards my order. Just called today, a girl made me wait for 20 minutes and said their system is behind! What does that mean Cartier howwww your system can be behind???? A girl promised call later, so wondering if she will call me. Is that a service? You guys have high quality jewelry and you can’t have normal service? Sooo disappointed (
I work with Joshua here and hes fabulous. Had been eyeing a piece and he called me to let me know of an upcoming price increase store wide so I wouldnt be charged more in the near future. So considerate and professional with a great eye for what would look best for each individual. I will definitely be referring my friends to Joshua!

As others have stated, impossible to book appointment on line, telephone rings and rings until someone eventually hangs up on you. What gives, this is Cartier?????Calling recommended 800 number equally a joke as hold times last forever….This has to be the worst service I’ve ever come across…Finally got through to 800 number after 45 minute wait… this out of principal, promised return phone call by store next day.. no return phone call, call 800 number back… long wait time and eventually gave up. Called store.. no answer…I can’t even imagine making an expensive purchase and then needing support afterwards. How disappointing for a legendary company.Thanks for the response. I did send an email to the address you suggested 2 days ago and have yet to received be a response. Not meaning to be a pain, simply reporting experience.And of course..no response to email despite sending 2 minutes after response. Great service in store and online. Due to Covid-19 its hard to make appointment in store on weekend, so decided to purchase online and was pleasantly surprised how quick it arrived. It arrived on 3rd day. Packaging and wrapping was done as amazing as they do it in store. Thank you

I’ve become a repeat customer due to her service and hand purchased 6 items from her in the last year. They also take COVID procedures seriously which I appreciate.
The Chicago boutique is by appointment only, but Cartiers online appointment setting function doesnt work: it basically shows no appointments available ever. Ive also called repeatedly and the phone is allowed to ring off the hook without an answer or even voicemail. Has this location closed?
This is my first purchase from Cartier and Annette was so awesome and helpful . No Cartier at where i lived so it was fun to try stuffs that i liked on, she was so nice to show and let me tried everything that i asked for . I am very happy with my purchase and looking forward to buy more in the future. Thank you Annette to make my trip more fun .
I was very disappointed with our first visit. We purchased a $7,000 bracelet. Our treatment during the appointment was very cordial however they left the receipt out of the bag, did not include the travel pouch and did not provide instructions on how to hook and unhook the bracelet. We went back for the receipt and a substitute travel pouch. It wasnt until we got home and opened the wrapping that we realized we did not know how to open and close the bracelet. Bad on us for not asking but we were a little overwhelmed buying our first Cartier product. We did text the Salesperson and they responded quickly with instructions that worked but that was after 20 minutes of fruitless trying. Beautiful product but the experience could have benefitted from more attention to detail.
Watch out for the security guarda at this store. He carelessly and rudely opened the store door and hit my son.
Great experience. Appointment only for now, but easily done only. Fantastic customer service that doesnt feel pretentious or pushy at all. My rep even provided excellent reasons to go with a cheaper option as opposed to up charging.
Not that a Cartier boutique needs a rating, but I do have to give one to my hometown one in Chicago. When I was shopping for my husbands wedding ring, I must’ve gone in at least 10 times to look at the same ring. Danijela, the manager of the store, helped me every single time and made sure that I felt welcomed and made the right decision. And that experience made the decision for me. It was wonderful to join the Cartier family, and we’ve been back since for many more things.
Chris and Lauren are both so helpful and professional. We dont live in Chicago anymore so I had to send my watch for repair. It came back like new! Best part is they returned it in a beautiful leather watch case. Our family used to own a Jewelry company so I am always pretty picky. Thanks again.

Really great customer service! Was assisted by Joshua in engraving my watch. Due to the current virus, I didn’t want to come in to pick it up and called asking to see how long they would hold on to the watch for me, only to be pleasantly surprised that they offered to ship my watch back to me free of charge. Will definitely make another purchase soon!

Edit- I got a call from Cartier and they have been nothing but sweet. Maybe I was a bit too harsh because they really went out of their way to make up for everything. Reaching out to a costumer that was wronged really shows who they are as a company and they made sure everything was alright and really shows that I was wrong to judge so quickly. Thank you so much for everything Cartier and I hope to be back soon.Previous post- If you come here speaking a different language, or speaking to a family member in a different language, good luck. We were treated poorly, we just wanted to purchase the ring and go. Seriously their costumer service is bad. Don’t hire judgmental people, it doesn’t help the brand. Doesn’t hurt to be a littler nicer and not act like you’re on a high horse, like your job is literally to sell the brand and pieces.
Joshua was very dismissive and condescending. Unwelcoming and rude. Not only was he late to our appointment, but he also greeted to me from across the room - a bit unprofessional.
UPDATE-- I just Spoke to Naan in Chicago. She was wonderful. She is even sending me an extra screwdriver with the famous red box. So kudos to Cartier for turning things around for me in a positive way. I now rate 4 stars.ORIGINAL POST-- Not happy at all. My boyfriend gave me a diamond love bracelet for our anniversary. Within a month the screws were becoming loose. So I contacted Cartier and was told to send the bracelet in the original box with the screwdriver. I did this. To be fair, they inspected the bracelet to make sure the screws were not defective, and since it as there, I had it engraved. (I live in Ohio) They had the bracelet for over a month.They shipped the bracelet and I received it yesterday March 11, 2020. It arrived in a FedEx ENVELOPE. WITH NO SCREWDRIVER. And they kept my original Cartier box. So now I have to call them AGAIN to get this straightened out and ask for both my box and the screwdriver. For what this bracelet costs, the service is sub-par. I have a Cartier watch, so I am not new to this brand, but I will say that I am terribly disappointed with the customer service right now.

Dropped in for a trinket for under a $100, and I was treated as if I were a VIP! Never knew they had a nice array of affordable gifts and delights! Of course I had to enjoy the jaw- dropping jewels on display also! Gracious and very accommodating staff made for a great afternoon. Very pleasant way to enjoy Michigan Ave!
I went in to find a lavender bag. I didnt find one, but the security and staff was so helpful. I believe I was with Ming. She was so nice. She told me about the latest jewelry pieces and suggested on when to come back to find the right bag.
(Edit) The rings we got were pretty small on us so we had to make another stop at Cartier. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted and asked how they can assist us or direct us to someone. The same person who helped us last time, assisted us again. She recognized us and had us sit down. Brought rings for us to try on in order to know which bigger size was more comfortable for us. She really did try to help us find the perfect sizes and told us if the rings looked too loose or too tight. Overall this experience was much better than the first!Definitely not a polite place to be. To start off, my bf and I wanted to buy a promise ring. We walked ourselves in and not one person greeted us. As we felt awkward, we walked around the store until we found one ring that we were interested in and waited about 5-10 min until someone came around to help us. She seemed kind of annoyed to help us which made us rethink about our purchase but since we were very excited about buying ourselves a ring we decided to just go for it. They didnt have our sizes so we decided to have it shipped to our place. The associate told us that it will take no more than 10 days. (It has been 10 days but after reaching out to see where our package was, they told us that it is still being engraved... WTF...) Once we filled out the paperwork STANDING, she finally sat us down and we paid for our rings. While we were sitting, some customers came in, but they were greeted by the doorman, and many associates which made us feel very insignificant. Overall, the customer service at this store was very unprofessional and I felt as if they were judging peoples appearance as the customers they greeted were dressed in designer clothes while my bf and I were just in plain clothing... I guess if you want some type of a decent treatment, you may want to walk into this store with your most expensive outfits.
Staff is amazing, especially Erin! She’s very knowledgeable about the products, super warm and genuine! She’ll show you products and you don’t feel like you have to “buy” anything, she genuinely wants you to leave with the right thing. If it’s not for you, she won’t let you buy it! I won’t shop at any other Cartier 👍🏻

Over a week ago I went into the store and asked if they could please replace a screw missing from the back of my Tank watch. I was told they would need to order the screw, which would take about a week, but it was no problem at all to replace it and they could ship it to me since I live in a different state. About a week later I received an email with a $3000 estimate to replace the case of my 20 year old watch. This estimated made no mention whatsoever about replacing the missing screw. Apparently the case was showing wear and they diagnosed it as needing a replacement case. I phoned the store and said I wasnt interested in investing $3000 in a 20 year old watch. I was told that they hadnt even bothered at that point to order the replacement screw and it would take at least two if not three weeks to do so. The attitude was cold and annoyed since I wasnt prepared to drop $3000 at that time. At that point I had no confidence that they would treat my piece with respect and requested that they simply put it back together (especially since I had not given them permission to take it apart) and that my husband would pick it up in two days when he was there for business. He just picked it up and told me that they were amazingly haughty about it. What at scam! I certainly expected more from Cartier! The store is manned by a bunch of millennials who apparently havent figured out that the person who asks for a simple courtesy could be the next customer to drop $10,000. I am in need of a new watch, but I can assure you it wont be another Cartier.

Hands down the best customer service I have ever encountered by both the sales associates and brand itself. I had trouble with ring sizing after my husband and I had already engraved our rings. I explained the situation to the sales associate, James Puhl, who was very professional and compassionate for my situation. He was able to correct my problem immediately without hesitation. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and will be a returning customer in the future. Thanks, James!
While I dont have the funds to purchase all the trinkets I want, the staff is always friendly and warm. Ive had a few repairs and even though its a bit of a slow process they kept me up to date and made it as painless as possible.
This place is for the upper crust of society also known as One Percent. Glasses, perfume, etc., are the most affordable items. Cartier serves up the finest customer service and the finest gold and diamonds around. Definitely on the wish list!
Im so sad to be writing this review, this was not how I expected my so anticipated 30th birthday present purchase to feel. First of all I want to start off by saying that our sales rep Naan was AMAZING, sweet and kind so this 1 star review has nothing to do with her. This review is for the entire store and all the unprofessional people working there. Upon walking in the security guard greeted us which was great. We stood there for at least 5mins waiting for anyone to acknowledge us, felt pretty awkward just standing there. Therefore I told my boyfriend lets go find the love ring so I can show you what I want, again looking and standing around for another 5mins. At this point we are getting frustrated, we are in Chicago for vacation from Las Vegas, so we could of made this purchase at home. Finally I approached one of the employees and asked if anyone was available to help us with a purchase. Hence at the point we been in the store for over 10mins and only the security guard has acknowledged us. Her response was everyone is busy, I can put you on the wait list hmmm excuse me sales representative but did you forget all your customer service skills at home?! maybe start with apologies for the wait, or just a simple greeting before starting the conversation. She put us on the list and we waited some more. At this point we are upset, because we wanted this purchase to be an unforgettable experience and it sure was but an awful one. We stood around some more and at this point we been in the store for over 20mins standing around. Another sales rep comes over to help us and she just didnt really seem to care for us. Didnt introduce herself, was not polite at all, basically everything you expect from a high end purchase was completely lacking. She seemed annoyed she had to help us, then finally Naan came to save the day, she took over the sale not sure why and was beyond attentive. She was the ONLY reason we purchased that ring at that store. Ive considered returning it and repurchasing it here in Las Vegas. Ive never spent 2,000 and gotten treated so poorly. Im so disappointed in Cartier and I hope this review serves them to further improve.

I bought engagement ring this store in May, when i give it for my fiancé, the ring is a little bigger than her finger so i come back and ask them can resize or how can i do, and they said if i want to resize exactly her fingers i need pay money for that ( I bought it under a month ) ? What happened with luxury brand name ? After 4 months, my fiancé ring have stone loose and im driving for 2 hours come to the shop in Chicago for fixed ! You know what they charge for $295 for Tighten stone, Rhodiumplating, Polishing ... OMG. i still happy for pay it and if you want to buy something from Cartier let rethink ! Thank for your service from Cartier and of course no more Cartier in my life.
