This is the best LensCrafters location. My experience here was exceptional. My representative Alex was a delight to work with. He didn’t treat me like just a customer. He was very kind, patient, and honest with me which helped me to find my most favorite eyeglasses yet. This store has the best selection to choose from and I will definitely be back next year. Dr. Hong is great. Very professional and I feel like he’s out to help me keep my vision healthy. Just had a wonderful experience with Karen. First time ever I have had a sales person go around and gather the glasses she felt would look good on me. Her suggestions were dead on and I appreciated her opinion.

Very helpful staff from the opticians to the doctors. Alex completed my preliminary exams and helped me to pick really nice glasses. My glasses were top of the line and I got great advice from Alex on exactly what I needed with my glasses.. It had been at least 4 years since my last eye exam. Thanks to Alex, I was in and out in with very nice glasses and complete order of contact lenses. The location is also easy to get to.

I was a walk-in at the N Michigan Avenue store today. I got excellent customer service.When I arrived the store was busy. I was kindly asked the nature of my visit and asked, again kindly, to wait. I observed the staff interacting with several people, who like me, seemed to be older patrons. The staff were polite, acccommodating, helpful and most importantly, free of condescending and patronizing behaviors.Even with a full store, I never observed the staff to be impatient.My service person, Kyle, was so helpful that another person said to him, I want you to be my person. He kindly told her he or someone would be happy to help her as soon as they were free and she made clear that she wanted him! This is because she observed him to be especially helpful and nice,She ended up working with someone else whom I am confident served her well.This is a busy location and the team members have their hands filled. My original appointment was over my lunch hour, and due to delays I needed to reschedule. The team at LensCrafters was incredibly accommodating, splitting my appointment to better fit my schedule. Everyone in the process from check-in to check-out was wonderful - will continue to come back!

Karen and another young man helped me fix my glasses in 5 minutes or less! For free! Thank goodness because I’m not from here and am half blind!

Staff is awesome, you are seen at your appointed time or earlier. They explain everything to you and try to get you the best deal for your prescription

This year was my second year going back to the location all beca of the excellent experience I received from Alex the rep at the locations. Super friendly and very knowledgeable. I came in with my eye on one pair of glasses and ended up buy two. Will be back to see you in a year thanks again .

Service is great, doctors are very nice formula works well. But as a second visit I was very let down. No history seems to been kept between visits, no continuity. I went through a lot of trouble trying to use the same place, but might as well have gone to a new place

I love going to this particular LensCrafters. Ive been going there for years and the staff knows me when I come in. They are extremely, kind, courteous, patient, and knowledgeable. I considered going to another store closer to my house, but decided to return and Im glad I did.

Overall the service was great. From the minute you step in the store, to the technicians walking you through the different measurements/test, the doctors, and the people assisting you with the purchases, they all provided a great customer service.

Upon arriving, the technician Karen, efficiently checked me in and got started on the pre-exam. She was pleasant and informative. Dr. Hong was a great doctor. He had a calming presence and was knowledgeable. He clearly explained the tests and results.The only negative about the appointment was the price. Compared to America’s Best, the cost was much more. That being said, the service, environment, and professionalism far surpassed that of my former eye care location.

Jean, at the N. Michigan Ave. Store is my FAVORITE consultant. She truly knows what fits your face - youll come out looking 100% more gorgeous than when you went in.

Kyle atLensCrafters was amazing he pays attention to details and his customer service is on point. My experience at LensCrafters was phenomenal. Kevin, Heather and Dr. Gourils all have been great to me they have made me feel welcomed and appreciated I believe this may be the best eye exam and purchase of my life !

I was lucky because this location was able to take me in as a walk-in with an appointment. I only had to wait maybe twenty to twenty five minutes before the eye doctor was able to see me. Everyone was friendly and the place followed CDC guide lines for Covid 19 virus. The doctors and the assistant explained everything thoroughly to me because this was my first time purchasing and wearing contacts lenses since 2006. The only issue I had was the checkout process. I thought the 👁 👩‍⚕️ explained to the sales associate at the end to order me the daily lenses. What I got instead was no lenses and the associate telling me that the 👩‍⚕️ will order the lenses instead because she has no idea how many boxes I will need in the future. I thought as the customer purchasing the lenses that was my job and not HERS! I ended up paying only for my examination and for future dilation of my pupils and nothing more. She stated we will call you when your lenses will come in but I am still confused to if this will happen because that was the Sales Associate or Techs job, I 🤔. I prefer the daily wear and not the two week extended and that what was originally being sold to me from the SA or ET. She wanted me to buy the two week and I wanted the daily because the 👩‍⚕️ felt this would work better for me. So, and again, I am confused if this will happen and I will probably have to make another trip to make sure I get what will work bests for me!!! Otherwise, nice location and have no problems doing business with them but the end was something of a oddity for me, so one star is taken away because of that end checkout process.

Nice, clean, friendly staff. I was greeted upon arrival in the middle of the day on a Wednesday. Folks were pretty chill. I would recommend this store. They didnt have the style of Oakley Im accustomed to, so that bummed me out.

Id give him -5 stars if I could.I called several times to see if my glasses is ready and the guy who answered my call is extremely rude. First time he told me to wait for 7 business days(so basically 9 days),second time he told me 2-3weeks and when I call them 3 weeks later this guy just hangs up on me.I finally got my glasses in almost a month later :C

Hello..Didnt know there was a lens crafters @ Boulevard towers. I would say the lens crafters n Macys were young not knowing what their r doing 4 hours w/me & cheating me off of my $$ No experience or knowledge about lenses/frames. Im HAPPY they drove me 2 go there 1 day looking up. An older man who assisted mevery well.

I have been wearing contacts/glasses since I was 7 years old, and this LensCrafters has by far been my best experience. The staff was extremely polite and the expertise and proficiency that Kevin Hong, OD showed during my appointment left me well informed and pleased beyond words. You guys rock!!!!🤘🤘 I have zero complaints and plan on making LensCrafters and this location in particular the place where my family and I go for all of our vision exigencies.

Gee I was thinking of making an appointment soon again, but wonder whats up with all the negative reviews. Several years ago I got the best prescription glasses Ive ever had here. I could see perfectly immediately, no distortion or discomfort, no adjustment period. I had excellent customer service and the eye exam was one of the most thorough Ive ever had. Prices were kind of high but I felt I got my moneys worth with the quality. I think Ill try this place again despite some bad reviews.Made another appointment in April 2018. Pretty much had the same experience as I did years ago. Friendly staff, greeted right away, didnt have to wait long for assistance or to see the doctor. The exam was very thorough. Very satisfied with the customer service. The only discrepancy from last visit to this recent visit is it took a while for my eyes to adjust to my new eye glasses, which is normal. The previous visit must have been a fluke because I had NO adjustment period. So, all in all a bit pricey, but I feel I got quality service and quality eye exam, and quality eye wear. You get what you pay for!

I went in to price out lenses for my existing frames and the saleswoman said she wouldnt do it. She just wanted to upsell me new frames. She made up something about the plastic being too dry. They are two years old and a high end brand, so I doubt that is true. I have also not heard anything like that from the other two stores I have gone to. I will just go to one of the other stores that said they could do it.

Terrible. Just terrible. I have to constantly check in on these guys to see if my contacts have been delivered. I go into the store to see why its been over a month to get my contacts delivered and the order was still in the pending state. Then they told me theyve expedited the order, which is another 2 weeks to wait. I dont recommend if you are looking for quick and easy customer service.

I came in from out of town for a music festival and my glasses ended up breaking Saturday night. They were able to get me in and out with a pair of contacts in time to see my favorite band play with 20/20 vision. On a Sunday even. I cannot thank Dr. Hong enough.

I am from Wisconsin and was in Chicago for a business meeting. I forgot my contacts. They let us in before they officially opened. They were able to verify my prescription from my eye doctor and got me a box of contacts within 15 minutes. Really professional, kind and extremely helpful. I really appreciate everyone here.

I have been getting my glasses here for several years now. I stopped in today because one of the screws in my glasses was stripped, and they needed adjusted as well. I was greeted promptly and they fixed the stripped screw and adjusted my glasses perfectly, and I was out the door in less than 10 minutes. This store can sometimes be a little busy because of its location, but Ive always gotten good service.

I have been a client at this Lenscrafters location for over 15 years and am impressed with how they have kept abreast of the latest technology in custom fitting my progressive lenses and sunglasses. They offer a wide array of moderately priced designer frames. I appreciated the opticians knowledge and her desire to see that I found options and products to match my taste and prescription. I appreciated the time spent discussing pros and cons of different options and her assistance in helping me find good choices within my budget.

Vision is precious, so routine eye exams are important for overall health. Sometimes, it barely tops going to the Dentist. Till now....Best experience with an eye doctor ever! The doctor stayed late to help me, then others. Best experience choosing/buying frames, too. The Asst. Mngr helped several people. Hes informative, patient, kind. They both went out of their way to give each client unparalleled custumer service.Their Professionalism and Care, coupled with a great range of prices and stock mean Ill never take my family anywhere else. The only sad thing? It took so long to find this store (This Dr, Asst. Mngr). Thats ok. Ill be back, with family n friends. Thank you!
