A++. This is such a great place. I had to be out of town so I decided to give this place a try. I had a really great experience there and would recommend to other friends and family.1. The doctor really took his time in examining and explaining to me anything about my eyes health to different kind of glasses and lens. He answered all my questions and concerns with honesty and sincerity.2. The place is very clean. I am very obsessed with cleanliness due to the pandemic but this place is definitely exceeds my expectation. Every glasswares I tried were separated for the disinfection for other customers right after I tried them.3. They even have the place for kids to sit and bottles of water in case we were thirty.4. The staffs are also very friendly. I requested them to email me my receipts and prescription and they did it very promptly.5. The name of this place is kind of clever and I could tell that the staff and doctors there really put a lot of work and thoughts into their services.Thank you a Matter of Sight!

I did not need to see an optometrist for a new prescription, but I was able to walk in with my current prescription information and optician Alvin assisted me in finding a pair that was right for me, ensuring a good fit on my face. I. Called for an appointment and the woman answering me phone asked for my age and when I told her I was 62 she proceeded to say”wow!” I was so offended because she acted as if she had never talked to a woman my age. I am definitely not going there.

Decided to give this place a try and I am really glad I did. I was a bit overdue for my annual check up and was having a hard time getting in to see my usual optometrist. Appointment was made with ease, office was super clean and you could see they are taking the pandemic seriously. Dr. Bahmani did an excellent job and was very detailed. My prescription didn’t change but my concern was fixed by a new brand of contacts—one never offered to me before. Would highly recommend.

My family had a chance to stop by this place A Matter of sight on Lincoln Park couple weeks ago. My husband and I were impressed by their cleanliness and services. These are two of the reason why I came to spend my time reviewing the place. Our 3 year-old daughter seem to like wearing a glasses without being shy and having a very good conversation with the doctor who was understand how to interact with the first time visiting child.This was also our first time with the place. For the cleanliness, they have prepared hand sanitizer for each service table, reminding us about the mask, and providing one for those who might accidentally forget. Our kind lady at the registration also explained all the information we needed both with an insurance or without. Service was really great starting from the registration table to the doctor himself. You can obviously tell that they are professional. We definitely come back for annual exam. 💙

I just bought a pair of glasses from AMoS. The glasses, which Im currently wearing, is the most loved one among more than 10 pairs of glasses I had over the years.The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They offered me helpful advice and their thoughts every time I visited. I did an eye exam here a month before. This is the only place that offered me a dilated eye exam.The price-point is not cheap but is very reasonable for what you get. A perfect, comfortable, and beautiful pair of glasses. 2 years warranty is a plus (depends on the glasses I think). With that consideration, its definitely not expensive. You pay for what you get, and Id recommend AMoS anytime.

I went to A Matter of Sight a few weeks ago now but I havent stopped thinking about my visit. Im not one to normally write reviews on anything unless it takes less than 15 seconds, but A Matter of Sight truly deserves it.It is my go-to place for eye exams in Chicago. They are very thorough and make me feel confident that I have a comprehensive understanding of how my eyes are doing and if there is anything I should be concerned about. I have been seen by both Dr. Rastegar and Dr. Sakulsom and can confidently say that both doctors love their job and are more than happy to explain any questions or concerns that I might have.A Matter of Sight also has a fairly unique selection of glasses that you cannot find at other stores, although this does come at a bit of a higher price point. However, they are also very adept at providing recommendations and my current pair of glasses is my favorite one yet – it was worth every penny! Perhaps my favorite part is that they are not at all pushy, giving you recommendations and are very respectful of your choice.Overall, I was very satisfied with my visit and am certain to be back!

I went to A Matter of Sight with my wife a couple days ago. It was unplanned but the staff was kind enough to fit us in. We felt really comfortable with everything. The venue was great. The service was excellent. Overall, A Matter of Sight is amazing and I will recommend this place to my friends.

I went back to A Matter of Sight for my annual checkup after having frequent eye strains due to long hours in front of a computer screen. Dr. Rastegar was very thorough during the exam and recommended that I get prescription glasses with blue cut lenses to block the blue light from screens. Megan was also helpful and let me know promptly once my glasses arrived. After getting my glasses, I no longer feel the strain. Overall, I was very satisfied with my visit.

The optometrist is very friendly but most importantly very patient and so helpful with educating me with how my eyes work. Also learned that their equipment are top notch. Been to Lens Crafters over the years but felt like I’m being rushed all the time.Oh and I’m getting these titanium bad boys for my specs! Highly recommended.

Robert was the best... After arriving late due to another appointment he was very pleasant and nice. Robert rescheduled my appt for a few hours later and offered to show me around the zoo which was a few blocks away. Welp as my day got worse we figured out that the insurance that i intially thought i had... I didnt. The insurance that I actually had they did not take. Smh. Despite it all Robert graciously helped me find another office to visit just a few minutes away. I will definitely be going back to A Matter of Sight as soon as they accept my insurance or maybe even pay out of pocket.

A Matter of Sights service is great and the staff very knowledgable.Previously, Ive been going to Lenscrafters for years, and didnt realize that the glasses I got from them wasnt a great fit for my head/face. Plus the contacts was irritated my eyes.AMOS changed all of that with their caring service and attention to detail.

A Matter of Sight has a lot of the nicer quality frames, much better than Lenscrafters or Warby Parker. I really do recommend this place if you want a nice decent pair of glasses.I bought two pairs of glasses from them, Orgreen and ic! berlin. My Orgreen is a more traditional, yet very lightweight metal frame. All of Orgreens frames are made from Titanium and handmade in Japan by the same people that made the samurai sword! I also picked the ic! berlin because it looks more playful and very different from my previous glasses. It has a plastic frame but it still has the screwless hinges that ic! berlin is famous for.The staffs are very friendly and helpful. They also provide complementary coffee and tea. The front area where the glasses were shown is very bright, minimal and clean unlike other stores that Ive been to. I was told that the light fixture was designed specifically to be neutral to showcase the frame in the unbiased natural color. There is a play area for kids too.
