I have been to 6 different stores, both retail and toy oriented, looking for a transformer toy that wasnt 4 tall for my nephew. This store has everything I was looking for! I called and right away he said he had exactly what I was looking for and would hold it for me. Amazing toy/collectable store!

I don’t know how this place could get a bad rate. Today was my first here found some great things I walked around the store like 7 times because it it so much to look at. The worker can tell you where anything is in that store with no problem. The price of thing are reasonable there. Overall best toy place to come to.

One of the best vintage toys collection store in Chicago. Toys from the 60’s to now. Place is small but is pack. Every time I go I find diamond or a sold out figure. Dave is one of the best owner you’ll meet and will help you out if you’re looks for a specific figure or toy that he may or may not have.

If you are looking for toys that you had as a child Quake toy is the place you want to go. The owner is a very very nice guy very upfront doesn’t gouge you on price of the toys you are Looking for and the toys are like new condition unlike some of the other collectible toy stores that Ive been into. His store is by far the best!!!!!

Quake is a Chicago treasure, and is the best option in the city for your collectible toy needs. Dave, the shop’s proprietor, has a great selection of vintage and new toys ranging from 50s/60s to now. Always furnished with a heathy new selection of Marvel Legends, WWE and other wrestling “figs”, transformers, NECA, and any other representative plastic object. Basically anything that has a Facebook toy group associated with it, Dave has it. His stock is always changing, as he buys and sells at fair prices. I can’t count how many times I’ve got rare items for a fair price from Quake. As evidence of what I’ve said, Dave has been selling toys to Chicagoans for 30 years today! Congratulations 🎉🍾🎈

Man, the owner is an awesome dude. Had a great conversation about his business and his sustainability. Got a great Robtech Veritech with the Armor which is rare. Picked up some loose things as well. Top 6 collectables store I have been to. Well worth the 40 min drive.

This place has potential to be great as it has a lot of very cool collectibles. Unfortunately the store is a disorganized mess, and thats a kind description. Many of the collectibles are damaged in some way and I cant help but wonder if this could be avoided simply by organizing the store better.

He has a good selection. Fair prices. But you cant trust any hours listed. After seeing it advertised as open till six now open and going all the way across town I find the store lied and is indeed closed. This has happened on three separate occasions. Nothing saying they were closed when I called. Dont waste your afternoon like I have.

AMAZING STORE! Not only is the selection vast and really enjoyable to peruse and pour over, the owner David is a super cool, friendly guy. I highly recommend you check this place out if you’re either a mega-collector or causal fan of collectables.

Quake Collectibles is an amazing place to bring your kids. All types of figures old and new. If you are looking for a nice hobby or love to collect the lastest action figures this place is for you. Its really rare to see shops like this so please stop by and support the business.

There is so much to do and see in this shop, even adults can enjoy it.There are multiple acts and/or demonstrations of toys. For every age and gender. Definitely a must-see, even when you dont buy anything. Prepare for over-excited personnel though!

Overall: Go dive for toy treasure, whether its for nostalgia or your current favorites. You wont leave empty handed.The good: Hits the feels pretty good. Toys from every generation, from vintage sports figures, Simpsons, Transformers, Star Wars, to Doctor Who, LOTR, and the Walking Dead. Youll be hard pressed to not find something to walk out with. And, the prices are friendly for any consumer. I bought 4 figurines for under $20. Or, you could spend $100s on pricier items if you wish. The dis-organized chaos of the toys is honestly appealing to me. Its like going on a treasure hunt, you dont know what youll find. Service was super friendly, and he played great music.The not-so-good: Gets a little cramped when there are other people in the store, but thats also part of the charm. Youre just overwhelmed with toys and stuff. Wish there would have been more various genres, 75% seemed to be Star Wars and comic book collectibles.

This place is really awesome! Its a collectors dream and must stop shop if youre in the area and want to look at yesterdays favorites and todays must have toys and figures! Its a little cramped for space and gets full really quickly though so plan to be patient when coming in if you wanna take your time and browse what Quake Collectables has to offer!! Quake is Amazing! Dave remembers the names of each and every customer he has the pleasure of interacting with. They have an Awesome selection, competitive prices and the customer service is second to none!

Fine for purchasing some fun old things, but don’t bother going to sell. They did not know how to evaluate market valve, let alone a fair paying price. Just sell it on e-bay. It’s infinitely easier than driving to this place, getting the runaround, then selling yourself anyway.

I LOVE this place. Its got a great selection of toys to buy, and even if there are some I wish this place would have, I dug getting some of the ones I missed out on or always wanted but couldnt find elsewhere. Ill never forget the day I got MPM-4 Optimus Prime, Cybertron Hot Shot, RID Warrior Soundwave, and a G1 Starscream. Honestly, this might be the best place to go because of the prices and how easy it is for me to go on the Brown Line after finishing some classes. I hope to see them again very soon.

Great place to find new and old toys

Local shop. Great owner who knows his customers on a first-name basis. Really fun to pop in for a huge wave of nostalgia. Ive found so many toys from when I was a wee one that I havent thought about in decades, and it never fails to put a smile on my face!

Always a good time when I visit even if I am not purchasing or selling anything. The owner is knowledgeable on his products & willing to help you find what youre looking for. You can really tell that he enjoys what he does.

$8 Simpson mini toys that are completely random. You do not know what you are purchasing until after you left the store and open the box to find out if you just purchased the same figurine or not.

I go in whenever I drive by. Got quite a few old school transformer toys in good condition for fairly good price. As the owner and he will usually give you a discount if you buy in bulk. Would recommend if there are rare old school transformer toys you are trying to find. Stop by periodically since he gets new inventories.

Fun store with almost anything you can think of at a fair price. The Owner and staff are great; knowledgeable, fun to talk to and helpful. They have vintage and new toys still NIB as well as tons of loose to take a look at. If you like a treasure hunt, then youll love digging through one of the several bins to find nostalgia gold. Its a regular stop on my trips though Lincoln square and highly recommended going there for yourself or your kids.

Come here twice per month to just wrap myself in nostalgia. Im not an action figure type, but this place is really heavy on figures. I tend to find little gems a couple times a month.

If digital art and graffiti had babies, theyd sell em in this store. Think computer nerds gone cool and youll appreciate all the random gadgetry that this place has on display. It has a lot of useless (but AWESOME) collectible art come to life. They sell blind boxes anywhere from $6-$8 dollars, and all you can do is swipe your debit card and hope for the best. If anyone owns the skull & bones toy from the Debility series, I would gladly buy it from you. It would make my boyfriend very happy.

This is quite a unique store and filled with action figures of all types. They have lots of figures and a huge selection ranging from NECA, transformers, WWE, hot toys, pretty much anything you can think of at fair prices. Its a very cramped store, but that just ads to the charm. Also the owner is super nice and its really fun to dig through all of the figures trying to find something that youd like.

I love Quake. Been coming for years. Dave always greets my wife and I when ever he sees us. And always..... Always gives us the best deal he can. Great toys, Pops, transformers and. Alot more. Ask him about the barbie, but not the Puerto Rican one.. we got that one. (Inside joke)

Small and weird, but with great toys and a crazy collection of cheap comics. Everything is used, so dont expect mint stuff, but a really great place to find old x men toys.

I have been going to Quake Collectables for over a year now. I can tell you a few things right off the bat.1. Quake has TONS of toys and collectables, most of which learn towards the modern side. Still lots of vintage toys though.2. The owner of Quake is one if the nicest, most understanding, and best bargaining toy shop owner ever. Great guy, great prices, and fun to talk to.3. Everything at Quake is insanely fair priced and reasonable. Of course you can barter but get to know the guy more first.Overall Quake Collectables is easily my favorite and probably one of the best collectable stores in the Chicago area. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Best toy store in the Midwest for high quality, vintage and action figures! I love this place!

Guy who owns it is very friendly, prices are fair and there’s an overall great selection. My only complaint is that it’s kinda disoraganized like Ka-Pow and very hard to maneuver around. At least if your kid touches a toy here you want be given the “evil eye” like that evil little guy at Ka-Pow.
