Had a very good experience coming here. The atmosphere was very calm and quiet. They have a wide variety of crystals and more to pick from. I’ll be bringing my family back. I would recommend to anyone planning to visit to do some research on crystals that you are interested in. The prices are very reasonable and not over the top like other stores. Outstanding service! I was there a couple days ago and they took their time to help me choose the right crystal pieces that I need for a gift I was making. I was there for quite a while and they reassured me to take all the time I needed and offered assistance. Every staff member has experience with their items and a lot of knowledge. Very welcoming and peaceful atmosphere. The prices are very affordable and reasonable as well. I MOST DEFINITELY recommend to my friends and will visit again soon. Thanks guys!

Went here yesterday and was astounded with my visit. They have a huge display of crystals that would rival a rock museum. The specimens are amply labeled with their identification and location of origin. The display are also neatly labeled with pricing. I love that the ID cards are so non-descript and straight-forward. You know you’re not paying for the price of a fancy card. They have wide selections (or maybe I came at a great weekend). I recently started my crystal collection and I was stoked as I left the store with a hefty bag of pretty specimens. I will be coming back for sure.

I love this place! I went here yesterday for the first time and I absolutely loved it! The employees were so kind and very helpful, I was looking for a moldavite piece but it was out of my price range and they found another crystal, malachite, and I ended up buying that but 10/10 recommend I will definitely be coming Back and the prices were so reasonable and affordable!!! And everyone was social distancing and wearing a mask, super convenient!

I walk into the shop the first time it was a little crowded but I had so many questions about different stones the owner was very friendly, and very helpful the crowded visitors did not stop her from helping me and answering many questions!!! This was a very good vibe from my other experience in my home town. That sprays you down before walking in the door! A limited of 5 her rules! And feeling rushed and grab what I want and go with out knowing what I’m buying so I appreciate be treated like a customer and a newbie 😂 I recommend this little sweet store I wish I could give her 10 ********** thank you so much for being kind!

My fiancé, sister in law, and I visited the store last week and the customer experience was off the roof. I was SO happy to discover this crystal shop (Chicago desperately needs more of these stores)! They have a large selection of crystals and their prices are extremely fair. Their taking the necessary covid precautions by limiting to 5 customers at a time and ensuring customers use hand sanitizer and have a face mask on before entering. I believe the owners were working when I was there and theyre super friendly and knowledgeable. I was so pleased with my purchases; it honestly made my day!

Personally speaking- energy, vibrations and customer service is everything.This juice here is good!My best friend and I recently visited this shop on a Monday, it was about 3:50pm when we entered the store, as we rushed in from the rain there was no “hello”, no acknowledgement nothing...the young women who worked there was washing dishes. All of our questions were “no this, no that” the crystal shop was closed and we were [rudely] informed the juice area was also closing in 2 minutes- thus the attitude- EVEN THOUGH website, google and windows state the shops close at 8pm, the apparently were closing at 4... okay (rolls eyes). And it’s wasn’t even that, ok so, everyone had weird hours nowadays, people are stressed, I get it! But when it comes to customers, you always treat them with respect, interest and acknowledgement. My best friend and I were both genuinely interested in spending money, looking for crystals and pine juice… But the young lady who was there on Monday afternoon Will probably be the downfall, her energy is in the negatives and her attitude is disgusting. Be careful how you treat people.

Very nice selection and reasonable prices. Staff seem very invested and knowledgeable, and are happy to answer questions. I was in here for like 45 minutes just browsing and they made me feel welcome without any pressure to buy. Very chill. Of course I did end up buying several beautiful pieces! When they rang me up, they were careful to note the prices of pieces that were per ounce so I understood the total and agreed to it, and they also clarified that they dont do returns. I dont love that they dont do returns, but given the nature of what they sell, its understandable. All in all, a great experience! Love my rocks and I will be back!

I was looking for amethyst for my 33rd wedding anniversary. I googled gems near me and up popped this store...I went and met two gem/jewelry makers. Two of the coolest, most chilled guys....the store has more gems/stones you could ever ask for...the web site cant bring out how nice the place is...you gotta go and just visit..Im gonna bring a watch chain I got back so these guys can craft a stone for the piece.Go here for your stone uplifting

This is one of my favorite rock shops I have ever been in. The vibe is current, clean, and refreshing. It’s really conducive to seeing all the beautiful pieces they have. I would leave at least half and hour just to walk around and take in some of the gorgeous stones they have selected.There’s lots of things you can buy for under a few bucks (I got a piece of ruby for 73 cents), all the way up to pieces that cost thousands of dollars. So from pocket stones to collectors pieces, you can definitely find what you’re looking for here. Plus they’re incredibly knowledgeable and into what they do. Definitely stop by!

Okay, here it is.... I am from Wisconsin. I was actually visiting a different crystal shop and came across this gem. No pun intended. I could have kicked myself for not coming here first, however that did not stop me from investing in some of their beautiful beauties!!! I love this place!! I had fun. The prices are EXTREMELY affordable. The staff was knowledgeable and kind. They have some of the most beautiful specimens I have ever seen. They are also very hands on. You are welcome to pick things up, check them out and anything behind glass they will happily help you with as well. I couldnt say enough positives about On The Rocks wonderful. I love coming here. The people are very friendly and helpful. And I grew up as a kid liking rocks and minerals. Now I know why I enjoy coming here. They workers are very helpful. These people are great. They really deserve 5 stars but some of the items are expensive. Now Im sure that they cost a lot naturally. The staff is nice especially the more they see you come in. Atmosphere is great and I enjoy going even just for a quick visit.

I visited this place with a Spiritual Sister, the crystals were Beautiful, and the person serving us was arrogant, nasty, and I stated to my Spiritual Sister that I would Never purchase ANYTHING from there again, as I spend 70.00 dollars in the place, and suffered a nasty attitude from the person that was suppose to be serving us, just a Mess! Poor customer service skills!

Not everybody has a rock shop like a grocery or barber. And I wont venture to far to presume what makes a good rock shop for everyone. ... but this shop has a regularly renewed supply of spectacular specimens that are moderately priced and the owner is kind and Respectfull. He also keeps a staff that represents him and the store well. It is not close to my home but I find myself here quite routinely.
