Very nice and cozy place, but the real value are the people. Game shops are not only places where you go to purchase games, if they were then wed all go online. Game shops are where you go for information and to join a community. The people at Da Sorce embody this well! I walked in on a Sunday in a less than good mood and they proceeded to not only cheer me up but engage me in my gaming interests as well as introduce me to interests I didnt know I had. This is what a good game store should be! they do events and game nights, the owners and workers are all passionate about their gaming and their passion is communicable and does not exclude as so much fandom can easily do. I loved purchasing those games and I loved meeting William and Lynn. Thanks Guys! Ill be back soon!

We came to Da Source for a birthday party and both the children and adults had a great time! The staff clearly explained how to play with Pokemon cards and how to execute a proper battle. For those that didnt want to play, they have an extensive card and game selection that you can play in house or rent and take home, them return. It really is a wonderful place.

Super fun place. It has lots of fun activities. You can play D&D, Magic, Pokemon, Shadow Run, and so much more. For a minimum if 5$ a game. You can also get board games, graphic novels, handbooks and the Pops. Its an all-around super fun place with many different things that you can do. I suggest you go there if you are near Lincoln square.

Started playing D&D here Saturday nights and my first play session was a great welcome back to bring a player. Kim was a great DM and everyone was incredibly nice and welcoming. Really looking forward to the next session.

It’s a great place to buy and sell cards and they provide competitive prices. There’s always something new to buy or do here. They always go above and beyond for all their customers. Checked this place out on my walk home from the nearby ribfest. They have a lot of really cool products ranging from card games to comics to other collectibles. Definitely worth a look next time youre gift shopping.It appears they also have weekly card game tournaments so if youre looking for a fun social time be sure to hit them up.The staff was also extremely friendly!

Lots of fun completely kid friendly, community as just fantastic. I go there so often I have played most of the games there. This is my favourite place to hang around and be myself.

These folks are amazing, and manage to ride the good side of that fine line between helpful and overbearing. They give you your space while you’re looking, then come over and give you some insider info on whatever you seem interested in, and then back off so you can make your choice judgment free. This is an awesome, fun, comic and game store. Plus you can get custom made shirts! The staff here is very knowledgeable and really into the games they sell. If something isnt right, theyll let you know and share an opinion of what you might like.

Ive been a fan since this place opened day one! Amazing staff the owners are fun and very knowledgeable and understanding of each game and everything else they sell and in understanding the the way of dealing with children, they are very patient and always aim to help the kids in anyway they can. The adults that visit are very interesting people and a few Ive seen personally are rather famous. Wont name names of course lol but I recommend this shop to anyone looking to learn a new game or even play some classics or even if you just wanna get away for a few hours in some awesome comics this is the place to go.

Very active game shop with a smaller selection of just about every geek hobby you can think of. Heroclix, Pokemon, Magic, comics, and boardgames. Stacked calendar of events. LOTS of kids and young adults. Can get really loud. The staff is super friendly and welcoming!

Great place to join a casual DnD game, borrow a board game or just browse tcg cards. They have a great pass system that ensures that the store stays in business and prevents unpleasant layabouts from turning it into their living room. A really refreshing take on a games store.

Found it on my way back home. the people running the store are very passionate and fun to talk to. Oh yeah,they have a lot of different products such as comics, toys, and trading cards like Magic the Gathering and pokemon. They also sell table top games and other card games.
