Great coffee and service. Espresso was good and the lemon bar was pretty good. Lots of space here to hangout/ get work done. Id suggest downloading their app to order ahead in order to skip the line because it gets busy at times.

I like this spot, but the quality and consistency is all over the place. Coffee is hit or miss for flavor - sometimes it seems its been sitting too long or burnt.I often get the chicken salad here which is delicious! Sometimes it comes with peppers and other toppings which I love, but other times Ive just gotten plain chicken salad on my sandwich with nothing else in it. I believe there is a misunderstanding as to what is to be included among the staff.The only local sport and I have faith if they can make some adjustments!

I want to like Bridgeport Coffee since its the closest place to my house and work, but it just falls short. Its dark and not very welcoming, the staff are sweet but dont seem to enjoy their jobs, and the food offerings could be better. The biggest sore spot for me is the bagels which are the quickest thing to get for a breakfast, but have a depressingly small amount of cream cheese even when you ask (and pay) for extra cream cheese. Please, Bridgeport Coffeehouse humans who control the cream cheese, Google image search a New York Bagel with cream cheese and see the error of your ways. For the sake of breakfasts everywhere.

I have tried the iced white mocha from a few coffee spots in the area and so far I think this place has the best one. Others were a bit too sweet in my opinion, but this place I thought had the right sweetness. This place also had great service and prices are reasonable. Would come again some time and try some other drinks and maybe their foods.

I used to go here much more frequently, but the quality of drinks has gone down. The drinks are not consistent. I get a simple iced vanilla latte every time - some days its sweet milk, some days theres hardly any ice, some days its just right. For the price, its hard for me to pay for a sometimes tasty drink.

This place used to be awesome but they’re in danger of falling off. Need people that understand coffee (or at least train them) and have some more professional customer service. I think a little training will go a long way.

I have been going to this place for years and it is still one of my favorite places to go. Its the cutest and only continues to improve. It could get crowded sometimes but if you find it quiet, you will not want to leave.

I think there coffee is great.. This was my first time there Im from the neighborhood.. I order a caramel Frapp. Was delicious but didnt have whip cream at a coffee shop. On top the 2 girls that were there On June 17. At 12:49 not friendly at all. Have bad attitudes no wonder there hiring at a coffee shop in the neighborhood they should be more friendly so wasnt happy with that experience. They need to hire people that are friendly n make u feel welcome!!!

This is one of our areas best restaurants! The atmosphere was wonderful, and the staff was extremely pleasant. They may also be able to make excellent coffee. We had a great time reading the pocket book they offered while sipping delicious coffee. I will certainly return, and I would strongly advise others to do so.

I had coffee here in the morning. The coffee was incredible! I had a cold brew, and I was not at all disappointed by it. The sandwiches were fantastic, and I was able to customize them and I was pleased with the performance. Workshops are also run by them, and you can also buy their beans to take home. I went to this shop last Monday and I had to tell everyone that I had a fantastic experience. The coffee, the food, the atmosphere, the waiters/waitresses were great and amazing. The waiter who delivered my order was, however, very welcoming, polite and cautious. This place is a little too emo for me. The place has an old schoolhouse vibe, the employees are awkward with little to no social skills (except for the Mexican girl doing all the work in English and in Spanish).HOWEVER, this place is perfect for working solo. With all the emo around, no one will EVER bother you (insecurities would never allow it).The coffee is great, and the bagel I had was ah-ight (they were stingy on the cream cheese, but Im on a diet anyway, so whatever). If with the wifi were stronger, I would have stayed longer. It might stronger if I hadnt sat at the farthest corner of the cafe, because - PLOT TWIST - Im too emo.

I tried the Iced Apricot Tea, and it was very refreshing and delicious. The baristas even gave me recommendations if I wanted a little more customization, which I appreciated. Love this spot. ❤️ Ive been coming here for years to do work, drink coffee, or relax with a book. Theres plenty of seating outside and a few spots outside on the street. The wifi can be spotty at times but thats when the house is packed. Also they serve baked goods and sandwiches in case you need something to snack on. When youre all done with work Marias is right across the street to kick back a few brews and theres Kimski and pizza chicken and ice cream for a hearty meal.TIP: Parking is pretty good, but if youre looking for parking on the side streets around here, make sure to double check if its permit parking

It was a real pleasure to visit this coffee shop. With their help, I relax and feel relaxed. In picking this coffee shop to hang out I was not mistaken. It was so hard to find such a professional place for my taste. I am profoundly impressed by how they treated their client well without any complications at all.

Space itself is beautiful, old books line the walls and the aroma of fresh coffee hits you as soon as you walk in. This coffee shop is the most popular here for they have different coffee flavors that complete your day. You can even let the barista know your coffee preferences and they will prepare it to your liking. You dont have to worry, they are all kind and accommodating.

Nice coffee shop in Bridgeport. Has a good sized menu of food and all the expected coffee drinks. Year round cold brew which is also important to some folks. Nice space to get some work done as well!

For a couple of nights, weve been searching for dessert spots. We came across this coffee shop after getting ice cream for two days in a row. They have massive, diet-friendly servings to choose from, including apple pies, oatmeal, cream sandwich cookies, cupcakes, and biscottis. Their service was terrific! My coffee hadnt been hot enough for me, and it was steamed up by the barista. At the top of my list is this spot.

You guys, this place is so good were still talking about it 10 years after moving away from Chicago. We used to live on this block and loved their fair trade coffee to brew at home. I also loved the tin ceiling, the outdoor seating, the wifi, the water bowl for dogs, the local art on the walls, and the pizza bagels. Such a cool vibe and great staff. So glad to see its still in business!

Great if you like moldy bagels and a glob of cream cheese right in the middle (literally the hole in the middle of the bagel). Honestly, what a joke of a place. If you can serve a bagel with a giant mold spore (size of a dime) that shows your staff is absolutely careless and doesnt know what theyre doing. Save your money and health by going somewhere else.

The staff was very polite and made us tasty dairy free iced chai lattes. They have ample outdoor seating and a few indoor options (due to COVID, I’m sure), but it still works! They also offer plenty of food options and most importantly- they are dog friendly!I also was delighted when I saw photos of the farm they work with for their beans and really appreciated seeing that they do work directly with a small farm in El Salvador. I love a good coffee shop that I can get work done at while supporting local and having my dog with me. Will definitely be back!

The staff here has entirely changed since COVID shut them down a few months ago. The new people are all doing a tremendous job. This is my favorite neighborhood cafe and I’m looking forward to being able to study and hang out here again in 2021, provided our city can get this pandemic under control

I have been here a couple of times because they had the best tasting coffee than other coffee shops I tried before. My favorite was Cafe Latte together with their best-tasting muffin. The two are like salt and pepper, always better together. They have menus, too. The place has a good ambiance, especially at night. It was very romantic.

But not if they give only a swipe of the spread!!! For some reason they refuse to put creamcheese on these things. This happens every time I go there, its not the baristas fault. Change your cream cheese policy!!!!!!!

Love this taste of caffe latte. It’s my second day in chicago so i’m very eager to explore here and there in chicago but becos of my extremly lazy boyfrnd who needs to sleep at least 10hrs in a row i had to wait for him whole morning. I decided to find some nice coffee place near by my airbnb and found this place on google map. And i’m having absolutely satisfying time by myself with this awesome caffe latte with a chocolate donut. Friendly staffs, nice smell, cozy and comfortable atmosphere! Highly recommend! (I hope my bf to wake up by now.... haha)

We enjoyed stumbling across the Bakeshop. We love pastries and the Bakeshop had many to choose from.This is a small café with a huge range of cakes and treats.

Free wifi available so you can study there; there is a quiet area in the back very suitable for work. The people who work there are very friendly and helpful. Five stars just for them.

I have been here a couple of times and I have to admit, my favorite food item is their BLT and their caramel or cinnamon dolce coffee. Not sure how they make it so incredible. I thought it wouldnt satisfy me but when I tasted it, I so loved it. I love every bite of it plus their tasty coffee that soothed my mind. It was so amazing! I frequent this spot regularly when around Bridgeport. Italian sandwich is particularly good(although small portion), coffee is fabulous. The atmosphere is definitely conducive to being efficient on your laptop. Respectful patrons. Diverse crowd.
