I was thrilled to see the selection of books that showcase different faces, cultures, names, and voices. Seeing these books front and center in a beautiful store is such a privilege to offer my kids. I normally have to special order books that have a main character that looks like someone in my mixed race family, but my kid was delighted to see a book about Holi as soon as he walked into the store. Instead of me shopping online, he could pick out his own books. Really grateful to this store for celebrating cultures that are among us, but usually not represented in children’s books.The book selection includes different religions, races and ethnicities (including unique Asian cultures which has been difficult for me to find), family structures, etc. I was also impressed to see relationships with grandparents, dads, moms, and neighbors represented in the books.There is also a selection of high quality toys. I didn’t get a chance to take a look at the clothes because my kid wanted to run around the fountain outside. Super friendly and helpful staff. Validated free garage parking for up to two hours.

If I could give MORE than 5 stars, I would. Kido is my new go-to shop for buying gifts for the nieces and nephews in my life. Their line-up of childrens books is amazing and I ALWAYS find more than Im even searching for. Hand down, Kido has been my most-shared shop in 2020. Fast shipping times and easy ordering. Love this shop and everything they stand for!

I ordered from here online and had an amazing experience! All their products were so cute it was hard to decide what to get! My purchase got here much faster than I expected and I could tell it was packaged with love and care! It felt like unwrapping a present. Im looking forward to spoiling my nephews with gifts from this store!!

Great locally owned childrens clothing company. They also carry carry some other clothing brands, childrens books, greeting cards and more! Theyre planning to hold events in the kid friendly space!

10 stars for Kido!!She has everything in here and something for all of the kids. Books, toys, explorer sets, dress up items, wrapping options, and more.We picked up about six books from amazing authors and many that have been hard to find. I appreciated the books about science and rockets 🚀, exploring the world, etc.They also have non-toxic toys...win!!!! Sadly, non-toxic toys are also hard to find.I’m glad that we have this one stop shop right here on the south side. I’m counting it even if it is south loop.

Great toys I havent seen anywhere else, and curbside pickup was SO painless since theres 15 minute parking outside. It made my holiday shopping super easy.

I just made my first purchase from Kido and am extremely satisfied! They have a great assortment of books. I called the store at one point to check on my order and the woman who answered was super friendly and helpful. I received my order soon after that and loved the cute, branded packaging and thank you note signed by the owners. I will be shopping here again soon.

We love shopping at Kido! Following their Instagram always brings our family lots of joy. The shift to IG Live storytime has been really great for us. Keewa and the team are always so kind when you shop in store and picking up during the COVID-19 protocol has been a breeze.

I absolutely loved buying books and the Kido jumpsuit for my baby boy online! It’s so nice to see items sold at Kido representing diversity in such a positive light. I’m touched the owners wrote a personalized note when I received my order in the mail. I plan to continue to purchase items from Kido.

Absolutely beautiful boutique store for kids! Stopped in on a whim and boy I’m so glad we did! 🙌🏾 The unique items for kids are amazing and one of a kind. I love that kids clothing can raise awareness! The owner is super friendly and gave us lots of information on kid events held at the store. We will definitely be spreading the word and shopping more in the store!

Such a cute place with great multi cultural books.

Kido is the absolute best place. The owner, Keewa, has brought such a sense of community to her shop. The store has the cutest clothes, inclusive books, and toys that are unique and fun! What makes Kido stand out in my opinion, are the classes that are offered! Story time, sensory classes, events for all major holidays (Holi, MLK day, etc)! We also had my daughters 3rd birthday here! The space is so fun, colorful and inviting! We love Kido!!!

Love their style! bought the cutest matching onsie and tshirt for my goddaughter & myself. I also got her the coolest mustard leopard print leggings and was jealous they didnt have adult size! Fun environment for kids with weekly activities.
