We usually just get papers from here but today for 4/20 he hooked me and my husband all the way up with 20% off of an expensive herb vaporizer and he threw in some other stuff and a rolling tray, i couldnt believe it, super cool guy. and they have a ton of stuff in there even those tar filters you can put onto the ends of cigarettes to help lessen the tar, which i always got from walgreens but now im coming here and supporting a small business ⚡

Just left this store without buying anything. We are in the middle of a pandemic, and the worker was not wearing a mask, despite masks being required in all public settings in Illinois. He didn’t even have a mask lowered on his face. Literally no mask in sight. So irresponsible and utterly selfish. I will take my business elsewhere.

They hold great hours (closes at 10 during the week, 11 on weekends), and the service could not be better!! It is so refreshing to visit a smoke shop where the people who work there actually care. Love this place! Workers are super awesome and we always end up hanging out there for a few. My friend and I live nearby and stop by with our pups during our walks. Super cool that they let them in there. Our pups absolutely love the staff as well (they always have awesome treats for them too). Overall great service.

Great space, friendly staff but what I like best about this place is the no pressure feel. I often feel intimidated in these shops and I dislike feeling like someone’s trying to sell me on something, here I felt encouraged to browse and ask questions. I went to several vape shops and all of them with the exception of this one asked me to spend near 160.00 with the vape and oil. Z smoke shop offered incredible service with a price of 85.00 for the same thing other stores were charging well over a hundred. I got a great vape and delicious oil! I’ve been in 3 times and EVERY single time, i feel like they are really money hungry first i bought a vape that was overpriced because he took the tag off and upped the price. The next time witch was yesterday. I came in to buy batteries for a buy i got online for 50% cheaper same model. I ask for the battery’s he says $10 a piece even though i KNOW they are $5 then when i said i thought they were cheaper he says oh yeah i meant $10 for both. I know i finesse when i see one. Both times they tried to finesse me. I’ll never shop here again they try to get money out of you & i don’t like that at all.

My boyfriend Scott and I came to Chicago to escape hurricane florence. We went in to purchase a new bowl. Both gentlemen working were kind, and very generous. They heard us talking about our reason for being here and the damage to our home and were super sweet. Five star service for sure! Thanks so much for your kind gesture. I would rate lower if I could. I have been in this establishment on 3 separate occasions. The last 2 encounters with the Asian gentlemen have been less than savory.The last time I went in this store about 2 months ago, he barely acknowledged me. I figured he was having a bad day. I just went into this store about 1130 AM today on August 21st 2016. He barely acknowledged me, acted like I was wasting his time. He shook the other persons hand that he was helping (I guess I have to spend a ton of money to be acknowledged).I am hoping that he is a jerk to everybody and not just black people.If you want to be aggravated, this is the place for you.

This place pisses me off!!! Every time I have gone in there to purchase jewelry bags for my online business, there is an Asian man that works there that judges me HARD upon my request. He makes suggestions that I am using them for illegal purposes, and makes me extremely uncomfortable. He looked at me as I answered him with a you are lying look in his eye. There is also an older white man that works there that has given me the same treatment. The last time I checked, they are the sellers for this product, so why judge anyone that wants to buy them? If you have a problem with the product, DONT SELL IT! Also, pretty much every single item sold in that store is used by most consumers to smoke illegal drugs/narcotics. People dont want to get high on tobacco guys! The idea that there will be a next time in this store is highly unlikely, but if it is, I would offer my suggestions to the Asian man who works there....Heres a tip that might help you in future entrepreneurial endeavors....The Customer is always RIGHT. You are lucky I gave you my money to help sustain your life. Hopefully you wont make the same childish mistake twice. Also, Business 101 states that you MUST believe in the product you are selling. How do you expect to generate business if you dont? So to the friendly Asian man, if you dont believe in your business....sell it to someone who does. Better to get out while you can instead of leading your business to failure. Good luck with him to any potential customer that comes walking through that door.

Shop has a lot of potential. good atmosphere, beautiful array of pieces, friendly staff, but every piece Ive gotten (3 to date) has broken within a week. poor quality, cracks after frequent use. not good for someone who smokes regularly.

First time shopping here and I had an awful experience.The store had a nasty smell, employees weren’t polite. I was 2 minutes in checking the place out, I asked about a price and the Asian man asked for my ID even though I hadn’t picked out something to buy. Sad on their end because they made the shop miss out on a good customer.

My vape experience prior to Z Smoke Shop has not been the best. The guys here know their products most importantly and go above and beyond to meet your needs! Very friendly, great space, easily accessible, ample parking, and I repeat...OUTSTANDING PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE and not out to nickel and dime you!!!!!! They have a rewards program which means they acknowledge the importance of customers and appreciate the business!!!! The only downside for me is that it’s not close to Rogers Park. SOLUTION: Stock up while I’m there!!!! Worth the wait and the trip. My new go to vape shop. It’s unfortunate I can’t support my local ones near by anymore. They treat me and look at me like I’m an idiot and a cash cow!!!!!!!!!!

I was a loyal customer of this place since it opened and was very supportive of the business, usually buying a few juices each time I went in. Stopped in for some supplies and made a large purchase, including some coils. Not only were the coils double the price I typically paid from all the other neighborhood shops, but they gave me the wrong ones for the tank I showed them. When I went back to get the correct product they argued that they were the right ones, even though they wouldnt fit inside the tank and were useless to me. They refused to issue a refund or exchange on the product. Total waste of time and money for me. There level of customer care and knowledge of their products is shockingly low. I dont usually post negative reviews like this but there are so many good shops around here: Roots, Hotvapes- there is no need to go here and support people that clearly take no care in their customers or pride in what they do.

I have honestly never been treated so kindly in pretty much my entire life. I came in tonight for only a coil. He realized my vapes top half was covered in electrical tape because the top of the vape lost the pin to hold together. So long story short he didn’t have the coil but realizing this he did something I wouldn’t of ever thought he proceeded to give me a free top half of my vape with a new coil and gave me 25$’s worth of juice all for free. Who ever you are you are the unsung hero of everyones world. Everyone come here, if your treated even 1/4 as well as I was you’d be happy as well.
