So i financed this car from s & m everything seemed to be okay with the car test drove it and everything had 63k miles which i thought wasnt bad considering the year it was which was 2012 ford mustang gt drove the car for exactly 35 days then on the last day before it lit on fire i was driving on my way to my uncles house driving casual not driving rough at all i heard something come loose from underneath the car so i pull over and i see smoke coming from underneath the hood then i see fire leaking from underneath the car/engine compartment so i back away from the car about 150 ft then 5-6 mins later car burst into flames.. so i call the guy that sold me the car and he says “you probably tampered with the engine and that is not my problem you probably drove it fast/rough” then i explained to him what i said on top ^^ then i asked for my down payment of $10,000 dollars back then he said “i aint giving you back nothing thats your problem” so i will be sueing this company for putting my life and 2 others lifes in danger. They were great! I love Edith! Got me in & out. My only issue is Joe who does the insurance has too much on his plate & can be a bit pushy. I’ve never known to start a premium and make another payment within 10 days. He insisted it was good for a month but didn’t tell me that I would have to pay an additional $170 the following week. Also, did not put my SR22 onto my insurance. He just moves way too fast, be firm with him. Overall, a decent dealership. They’ll work with and for you!

I contacted frank inquiring about 2017 Lincoln mkc we needed more photos of this vehicle. And frank was very helpful get us pictures in less than 1/2 hour. We went there to test drive it we were impressed with their showroom. Frank, mike and joe are great! We drove from Indiana. DONT BUY ANY CAR FROM HERE! They all have issues they turn off the engine light before you purchase the vehicles, my sister literally bought a car two days ago and the lights on and same thing happend to the 3 cars from here she purchased, they have you buy a car and trade it in for half the value ! This is by far the worst place to buy a car in Chicago, this place is a rip off .

Sold a car with a bad transmission only lasted one week when I went to talk to them about it they pretty much said theres nothing I can do. Very bad experience, now stuck paying for a car thats no good or messing my credit up even more.

Is the worst dealer in all of Chicago. I give down payment $ 4000. And they took the car to the door of my house so that in a week they would call me that I did not qualify for the car that they were only going to put a GPS. and after waiting 1 hour they told me that they were not going to give me that car back . to come back so that I could choose another car. and they gave me the one they wanted

Its been a week since I got my 2012 Golf TDI from S and M Auto in Hickory.The showroom is gorgeous. The entire building is brand new and they really went all out. Everyone there made me feel like family from helping me get a really great deal on financing, to the Dunkin doughnuts offered. Raymond was awesome and I appreciate the time spend helping me. I was in an out for a Saturday morning and beat out two people looking at the same car as me. Thanks again and I will happily recommend this place to anyone looking for a car but doesnt want the dealership hassle.

Good customer service. I purchased a 2010 dodge challenger with extended warranty over a year ago and the car is awesome! Only MINOR repairs to the vehicle since ive had it.... Auto mechanic work is done on location at the dealership and the mechanics have you IN AND OUT depending on the job.... No long wait time when repairs are done!.. good business!

My salesman, Jimmy, was very pleasant. He helped me get my first car and made sure I left happy and everyone there was very professional. Sam is the best one there, even after you leave he makes sure everything is good with your vehicle and wants you to be satisfied with your purchase. He is a very honest person. Buyers Beware Very poor customer service. I called over the phone and spoke to a person named Joseph to ask a few things about an Audi A7 they had. He was very rude over the phone and very un transparent. I called to ask about a price of a vehicle, clearly he knew nothing about anything regarding the car. I didnt even bother to come see the vehicle I was looking at during the 2 minute conversation over the phone that was enough to make my decision and determine these are not the people to buy my next car from. I ended up purchasing my vehicle from a Real Audi Dealership.

Purchased a car in the middle of July, long story short it only lasted a month motor went out. Its still under Warranty I might add and they dont want to fix, give me another car, or give be my money back. Paid one note on this car and now this I advise yall dont spend your hard earned money HERE!!!!!!!

This is the WORST place to buy a vehicle. I purchased an infinity truck from this auto sales. They never disclosed that the vehicle I purchased was involved in an accident. After issuing a complaint with the attorney general, S&M allowed me to trade in that infinity for another vehicle. They provided the report for this new vehicle and assured that everything was in good standing. THEY PROVIDED FAKE DOCUMENTATION. After a week, I came to find out that the vehicle was actually under a LEAN from the bank and was also involved in a big accident. I paid $21,500 for this trade of vehicles, and came to find out from an Audi dealer that the vehicle was only worth $8500 due to those undisclosed damages. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS, THEY ARE SCAMMERS. I have filed a lawsuit for Fraud.

First off service Is horrible! Felt judged without even talking! Second you tell them what you like or want and they ignore it and give you there what fits you limited options! Cars are keyed up, dented or inside smells like mold! They place all the good cars trucks in front witch is eye catching but want you to buy the ugly ones in the back! No thank you!

Yes they are very nice but they do not tell you that not all of their cars work. That the cars have been in wrecks and something is always wrong with them. If you buy a car you will have to come back to get it fixed. Its about to be 4 weeks since I put down money for a down payment and they still havent given back my money when I asked them to.

I read the reviews before coming, and they were right, these guys are shady. When I called to check on a certain vehicle that appeared to be a great deal, they said it was in stock. I printed out a card fax ($49), and I drove 1 hour into the city. When I arrived I gave them the same VIN# I gave them over the phone and they told me it was sold two weeks ago, but they have another one just like it! These guys ARE what you picture when you think of shady used car dealerships...

My brother had a really bad experience at this dealership .... he went and bought a car that he likedand it had two spare keys and a spare tire and once he signed the papers everything changed and they give him the car withonly one key and no spare tire!!

One of the worst dealerships I’ve ever been too very bad communication and don’t know how to communicate between the two locations and have minimal knowledge about the cars that they have and have little to none knowledge about cars overall. DO NOT go to the auto sales location i put $7,000 on a vehicle for it to break down 30 minutes later towed it back to S&M auto and they told me they weren’t going to fix it or give me my $7,000 back then on top of that told me to pay for the $2,000 labor fee to get it fixed Jack (owner) told me this to my face, kept trying to call them about to situation but they leave me of hold for 30 minutes at a time no call back or updates

Worst place to buy a car. Friend bought a vehicle here and had problems with the vehicle, they try and trick you go past your 15 day warranty (by law) and they wont fix the problem.

Do not purchase anything from here, they sold my fiance a car with a bad transmission, she paid for extended warranty from them, and when the trans went out they said it wasnt covered. They rigged the lights up until she left once she left all lights went out due to electrical problems, please dont no purchase cars from here.
