Ken was so great to deal with!! He went out of his way to make sure we got the right vehicle and the best deal possible. The finance manager was also wonderful. Couldn’t be happier with our experience and the car is even better than I expected. Shout out to Chris for showing us how everything works and making sure we were comfortable driving off.
Ive normally have good service here however if you are sticking around while they work on your car, it may be hard to get any work done as the waiting area is probably one of the most underwhelming areas Ive been to. Im honestly surprised they havent upgraded this as the service area at the Honda dealership far outweighs my expectations.
Perillo has the best staff that makes the car buying process simple! Ken is absolutely the best salesman they have by far! Would highly recommend
Jason Goetz was excellent. Great attention to detail, very personable and made everything easy to understand. Made my first car purchase a breeze. Highly recommend him and Perillo BMW!
Mike F was a consummate professional. The entire experience of picking up a certified pre owned BMW was quick and efficient. Perillo did a great job.
Ken has been outstanding to work with through the entire buying process. Internet was down on their block when I picked up the car, but Sebastian was able to sort out the closing old school while Louis introduced me to the vehicle. Excellent team.
Alan Sahagian was outstanding with his customer service and technical knowledge. The best buying experience we have ever experienced. Thanks Alan!
Great experience buying my e45 X5 at Perillo. I worked with Alan and he was awesome - helpful, informative, super knowledgeable (especially on BMW’s electric vehicles), genuinely excited for you, and overall made the buying experience a blast. Financing was easy and fast. Couldn’t recommend these guys enough. I’ll be back when it’s time to buy my next car.
I wish I could edit my previous review and change it, because Perillo is one of the best service departments I’ve ever used. The staff is kind and the work done has always passed my expectations. My experience was never bad. I was frustrated I had to make several calls to different warranty departments and didn’t know - so that frustrated my experience. Thank your making my life easier and Danette is quite amazing herself.
Peter Louis Gina and Earl were all part of an overall good car buying experience. Earl was helpful getting me past some concerns and over the line on this car. I look forward to working with Perillo. Also Jennifer Mickey connected me to Perillo Chicago sales. Thanks to her connecting me to Peter and the right car, I am now in my second BMW
The service at Perillo BMW is excellent. I came in to purchase my leased vehicle and was assisted by my sales representative Garrett Goldstein who was very thorough and answered all of my questions. It was a very simple process and Garrett even had my BMW washed while I was completing the paperwork.
Extremely poor customer service. First called because my new 2021 BMW X3 m40i front light is out. Service receptionist told me if I wanted a loaner car I would have to wait a week. Fast forward today 8/31; I get there no loaner cars available. Then the service guy told me it would take a day to diagnose to see why the light is out and to do the standard service. I get a call at 4pm today saying they couldnt figure out what was wrong and I could pick up the car and bring it back, that was the voicemail. When I get to the dealership the service advisor had gone for the day! Still didnt know what was wrong with the headlight...I asked for the service manager they were gone for the day! Finally one of the head techs asked if he could help me. Explained to him the headlight was out on the brand new car. He advised yes it takes a day to diagnose, and I would have to come back. What were they doing the whole day???? This is a 70k car and I get Dodge customer service!
What a great experience. Ryan R did a fantastic job to make us have our new X6 we were looking for. He was very friendly, professional, and responsive and it was truly a pleasure to work with him. The whole process was very smooth from getting an online quote to the car delivery and we were able to get our customized car less than 3 weeks. I also want to mention that the technical guys at Perillo BMW were also very knowledgeable and they provided very detailed explanations about all the specs and car features. We are so happy with our purchase and definitely recommend Ryan to anyone who wants to have a pleasant car purchase experience.
Great experience and first BMW. M550i.I reached out back in December through email and was teamed up with Alan, whose not only AWESOME at knowing his cars but will make sure you get what you want, and I did. First time ordering a car as well and it was a smooth process with BMW and got to be involved throughout the entire build. Scheduled the test drive, worked it all out over the phone and was in the dealership for less than 50 minutes when I picked the car up. I really could not have asked for a better experience and am psyched to be apart of the family.
My experience with Shawn at BMW was amazing. He was the perfect gentleman and got me the best deal. If you are looking please go to them!
Sold my 19yr old son a car, got him approved with his trade in through BMW... tried to fill his head but I was on the phone so I was able to help guide him as much as possible. They told him if he has any problems, bring it bk within 14days. 4 days later he came to show me & it was oil in my driveway when he left. Being young & inexperienced he thought it was from the air conditioner since the car was running. I had him call to get a service. They didnt have an appointment for a cpl day so I told him to take it in & leave it. He recieved a text stating it was the oil pan & would be almost 1200 to fix!!! I told him not to pay it. He went in to discuss with his sales person that told my son its as AS IS SALE... and they check all the cars so nothing was wrong & they wldnt cover it. Then we talked to the finance manager, he stated they didnt tell him he cld bring it back in 14days. Then finally the service manager came & said it was nothing wrong, the oil just wasnt cleaned up around where they checked it & he can take the car & just bring in back after 30days when the warranty kick in!!! Once he went back to get the car, it was still up on rack not put together so he had to wait till monday to get it. He was to young for a loaner so he was inconvenienced & had to have someone come get him. He get a call on Monday stating they found the leak & will fix & cover the price. He was able to get the car back that evening. Its really sad that they do this type of business under the BMW label. If it was a different dealer that just sold BMW cars, I could understand. I purposely made him go to a certified BMW dealer so he wouldnt have these problems, unfortunately that didnt work. I had considered trading in my BMW X5 for the X6 here but I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere. To top it off, he was promised to have t detailed since it wasnt the day of purchase by it being a Saturday... they still didnt even to that. Very sad business but I love the car... its given my son a different feel about even having the car & it being his 1st luxury vehicle that he purchased on his own... Do Better Perillo
I have always had great experiences at Perillo BMW. Eddie Duarte and Christine Shanahan have always taken amazing care of me w their incredible cars. Thanks again for all the years of BMW!
Test drive with Don Mariano was great experience. Really professional sale rep.
From the beginning of the process to the end I had an overall great experience. Eddie Duarte was my salesman and he remained professional & courteous throughout the entire process. He went above & beyond to lock down a loan for me plus was very knowledgeable about the cars/suvs & encouraged me to choose what would be the best fit for my family. I would like to give him an 11/10 stars. Thank you Perillo BMW & Eddie Duarte for taking care of me!
Great sales support. Beautiful vehicle as presented online.
Great experience all around! So accommodating and not at all like the typical sales experience!
Perilla offered 2 free oil changes if we brought back a second set of tires quickly that were part of a trade in. Apparently, no one wrote It down and as a consequence, they declined to honor their word.I purchase several cars there and I guess loyalty means nothing. It’s not the end of the world but just hurts a bit. What happened to try to keep at least some of your customers happy?
Friendly, knowledgeable and low pressure staff may the buying experience as smooth as possible
If you’re buying your next BMW, make sure you get it from Ken. After searching around for 4 months, talking to pretty much every single BMW dealership in the surrounding area, I called in and was put into touch with Ken. After asking him a simple question about the M340i, without really having too much motivation to purchase a vehicle, Ken was able to find the perfect configuration for me, give me a great deal from the jump, and provide me with all of the answers to my questions throughout the process. His eagerness and simplicity made me excited and reassured me I was making a great decision. There is no doubting that Ken is truly a master of his craft.I am in car sales as well, and it was refreshing to see there are other honest, professional, and enjoyable dealerships to work with. Everyone at the dealership was accommodating, and I was in and out in less than an hour with my new ride. A day before the purchase, I found out about a slightly better offer from a different dealership (not by much), but still chose to work with Ken. Best decision I could’ve made. Thanks Ken and the Perillo BMW team.
Highly disappointed with this dealership. No transparency at all. I spoke to them on Friday regarding a vehicle that I saw and agreed on a price and time to come buy it - Monday. On Monday they said the price has increased but I had saved the initial price so they said they would honor it. I exchanged texts on Monday to let them know I’ll be coming in at 5 PM and I even sent them my personal information over text to get the paperwork done in advance. Once I got there they told me the vehicle went to get pictures taken for online posting so I had to wait for a half an hour. Finally the vehicle came I took it for a test drive and told them I am ready to buy it. After waiting a total of three hours they told me that the vehicle was sold two hours ago. How is this even possible? Please go to a different dealership this one is highly unprofessional.
Amazing service!! If you want to get into the BMW family, definitely come here!
I told myself I wasn’t gonna write this, but as a 21yr old, first time car buyer, they gave me an experience to remember for the wrong reasons. I eventually bought the used car but I didn’t appreciate being rushed to buy it, especially after a 5 min initial test drive and numerous personal texts throughout the week. They subliminally insulted my intelligence by altering my credit application to get approved and asking me to sign off on it which is basically fraud. They lost my second key and blamed me for it. Didn’t changed the oil or top off the fluids before I bought it even though I was lied to and said they did. It just felt like a rushed/careless process. You would think if your spending 40k on a car they would cater to you, but not Perillo. Or my two salesmen at least. And of course neither one of them responds to me as quick as they were when I didn’t buy the car yet. Luckily I love my car, but hated the experience buying it.
Purchased a certified 2019 m550 later in Jan of 2012. Noticed some cosmetic issues done by the dealer during a buffing job after returning home. Contacted my sales person for any solution. The dealer chose not to do anything about it. I have been to this dealership twice. First and last. I will purchase my next BMW elsewhere.
Worst car buying experience Ive ever encountered. I would never recommend this dealer to anyone!2021 X3 30e
I was talking to Eddy over the weekend and was waiting for a call on Friday with regard to the price of the vehicle I am interested to buy. He did not call but he finally called yesterday saying that it was a month-end and they were busy. He agreed upon the price with me for the vehicle, he initially told a different financing and interest rate and later on changed it. I still agreed to the price and told that All I will need is to make sure the tires are in good condition. I confirmed with him that I will come during the weekend since I live out of state and I have to fly there to get the vehicle and I am willing to put the deposit. I never received the call today, so I called his cellphone and he never responded. I than called the dealership in the evening and spoke with gentleman named Ken. He was nice and helpful but he emailed me and told that the vehicle you are interested is sold over the weekend. I particularly did not like the culture of this place, as they have no value to the Words. I also don’t believed them since he called me yesterday and vehicle was still available and that means it was not sold during the weekend. Even if he had an error, I at least would have expected a courtesy call or an email from Dealership, saying that the car is sold. I believe in some basic integrity and will never shop again at this dealership even if excellent deal comes up.
Literally the worst car buying experience I have ever had. Bought a pre-owned car, had a lemon squad report done. Car was transported to NM and had a $1300 dent in the side of it when it arrived. Management refused to respond to numerous emails and phone calls finally telling me they would not participate in restitution. When I asked for the transport companies name they completely ghosted me. There are no words for how unprofessional these people are. Every bad joke regarding used car salesmen these managers embody. Buyer beware!!!!!
I don’t like to write reviews but I just can’t take going to this dealership anymore. I’ve never dreaded going to a BMW dealership the way I do this place. I took my car in for a check engine light and kindly asked the service rep to also replace the missing screw in my license plate. I didn’t think that was a big ask. Not only did they have my car all-day long, which forces me to Uber at least twice, but I get the car back and my license plate is still half hanging off. It takes one screw! How many people looked at my car and thought to fix it? Answer, zero. I think driving to the suburbs would be the better option at this point. Save yourself some time...
I purchased my X3 from Perillo in 2019 and worked with Marco Daddosio. Marco was awesome to work with, patient in answer my questions and took care of me throughout the entire experience. Two years later, I needed help with one of the packages I had previously purchased and reached out to Marco. Marco went above and beyond to ensure I had the best customer experience. He made calls on my behalf to coordinate the collision center and ensuring I could have a loaner vehicle during the time my car was in the shop. I highly recommend working with Marco! He is the best!
Ken is a Ten forget the rest hes the best.
Very helpful at giving great service that you are looking for.
It took me a few days to decide if I wanted to write this review. I visited this dealership this past Saturday, February 27, 2021 and it was a complete joke. Unfortunately I give this dealership one star only because through email, Dawn was very responsive and courteous. If it were not for her, I would have given this dealership no stars. Dawn set up a same day appointment for me to meet with a sales specialist named Martin. Upon arrival, I waited approximately 15 minutes for Martin to take me on a test drive with a BMW X1 that I was interested in purchasing, in which he never did. There was another employee who assisted me with taking this vehicle on a test drive which was completely okay because the individual was very knowledgeable and polite. After we returned, Martin was still with another customer so it took about 20 more minutes of me waiting on him to start talking numbers. Patience is key and I was prepared to buy that vehicle the same day so I tried not to let that upset me. Heres the reason I give this dealership 1 star. Sitting down with Martin was probably the most unprofessional experience I have ever had. He talked down to me and mentioned how he has been working for this dealer for 6 years and the numbers I wanted to have were impossible and that the amount I owed on my trade in was my responsibility, not theirs so they wouldnt give me more than 10k for my Jeep Cherokee (I wanted to spend about $31k with tax). As I understand it is my debt, there is a way you speak to people, and I knew I could get more for my trade than they were offering. In fact, I went to other BMW dealers and was offered more. He began to raise his voice and say Youre calling people to ask them about numbers and you dont even know what these numbers are. I did in fact call my brother to see if he agreed with the numbers, I am new to Chicago and did not go to the dealership with anyone so I just wanted to ensure it was a good deal. I laughed and I told Martin there was nothing more he could do for me.I then inquired about another BMW X1 that only had 10k miles as well (the one I was looking at with Perillo had 10k miles) with another dealer yesterday (Patrick BMW) and drove off the lot today! They ended up giving me 11k for my trade in. Honestly, I thought the point of being a sales person was to make a sale, I was more than prepared and I had $8000 to put down towards the vehicle but I felt so belittled and as if he thought due to me being alone and a woman in a Nike sweatsuit, I was unable to afford the vehicle lol. Other sales people spoke and seemed friendly but I would personally never inquire about a vehicle with this dealership again.
Our salesperson, Garrett, went above and beyond to help us get the car we wanted despite a few hiccups.
Ken is more than a sales leader- he has become a trusted partner for us- hearing our needs and guiding us through the process of finding the right vehicle to suit our lifestyle.
I can only speak on behalf of my experiences in the service department. First of all, I had a check engine light turn on and I was in separate need of assistance. One of my o2 sensors had gone bad and I needed it replaced. I called ahead and I believe someone named Karen helped me out in booking an appointment while on a road trip. I pulled the car in, Raul helped me then talked to Jimmy (Quijana) who spoke to Stefan who then let me get pretty much the first spot. I was on the road the next morning. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! Thanks Raul, Jimmy and Stefan!
Efficient, professional, friendly, straight forward, wonderful experience.
Chris Doko in service took a situation that started off on the wrong foot but recovered with amazing customer service skills. He’s a credit to your team!
AJ and Daren in Service are great. They addressed all of our concerns and made sure we were happy with the repairs before we picked up our i3. Thanks guys!
My sales rep, Eddy D, really made the sale happen. He understood my detailed needs regarding the car options/features I needed and found a model in stock which checked all of my boxes. Knowing that I was an out of towner from 500 miles away, in Chicago for 1 day only, he cut through the red tape to put the keys in my hand.
This is my 3rd car I purchased from Perillo. Garrett is the best salesperson there. If you want a good salesperson see Garrett. You won’t be disappointed. He made all 3 of my transactions smooth. I told him what I wanted and how much I wanted to spend and he was able to meet my needs over half way. After I brought my truck he checked in on me to make sure things were going good with the car. If I had questions about the car I purchased months later I can send him a text and he will respond. The finance lady was nice as well. She didn’t waste my time. Everything was ready when I arrived to pick up my car. All I had to do is test drive and sign. I completed the entire process online and over the phone except the signing of the contract.
The sales process was great. Alan educated us on the benefits of plug-in hybrids and we ended up going with the X5 45e. Alan was very fair during negotiations and walked us through the various options (financing, buying it outright, BMW owner-s choice). The sales process and the test drives were very nice. The car had to be ordered and took about 8ish weeks to deliver, upon delivery, we rearranged our schedules/plans with family to pick up the car before month-end as a favor to Alan. Sebastian was great and did all the financial transaction, advised us on which warrantees to buy without upselling. The experience went sour after the delivery of the car.- I had ordered roof rack with the car. On the date of delivery, the rack was not provided to us. I had to come back to Perillo during work hours only to find out the rack was sold to someone else. they had to re-order it and I have to come back another time to pick it up.- after buying it, we did a thorough check on the car after driving it home and noticed there were scratches on the bottom lip of the cargo door. someone (either during transport from factory to dealership or at the dealership) had dinged up the door and let customers (us) drive it home- for the cargo door, Alan arranged for the car to get worked on at the bodyshop, got us a courtesy car, and it would take 2-3 days. took the car in on a tuesday and got the car back on a Friday, and found out a part (car emblem) was not able to be delivered to the bodyshop. so we will have to bring the car back another time.- within 1 month of buying this new car, i have had to take time from my work day to go back to the dealership 4 time already. number 5 will be when the delivered part is available at the body shop.I asked Alan if there was anything the dealership could do for me for the inconvenience and trouble, and even mentioned were looking to buy a cargo mat for the trunk. the response I received was that management approved 15% discount for the cargo mat, which equates to $30. I dont think I was being entitled when I felt very disrespected that I just spent almost $80K on a car, and had to spend my personal time on errors/problems that were/are no fault of my own, and am not experiencing the BMW experience that I had hoped for, especially at Perillos in downtown Chicago. Especially surprising when compared to other customer experiences. For example, we spent a little over $3,000 on a travel package through Costco, there was a hiccup during our trip, and Costco proactively sent us a $200 Costco shop card. I just spent more than 20X that amount at Perillo, and their attempt at customer service was $30 and i had to ask.At this point, I just want to get past all of this and move on. Will be looking if I can get the X5 serviced at a diff BMW dealership in hopes of being treated like a valued customer.
This is our first car and coming to Perillo BMW was one of the best decisions I have made. Martin helped us out every step of the way. He made sure we were comfortable, content, relaxed, excited and most importantly happy about our new 5 series. The entire experience was fantastic. Thank you again Martin for welcoming us into the Perillo BMW family!!!
Garrett at Perillo BMW is your guy. He was our sales rep and I was surprised to see how patient, knowledgeable, and kind he was. He truly does the most he can to ensure you find your best vehicle.
This place is a complete rip off! They charge the most ridiculous ammount of money for doing nothing at all. I will never bring my BMW to these people again.
I came to buy my wife the 2019 X3 M40i. I was greeted by a salesman Marco we hit it off right away with a lot in common. I can absolutely 100% say if it wasnt for Marco I would have purchased an SUV I found elsewhere, I went back because I wanted Marco to get the sale. Marco is a very smart young man with a good formal education in Finance. He really went to bat for me and got a price I was extremely happy with. At the end of the day I hope Perillo made a few bucks, Marco got his commission and my wife got an awesome SUV. Thanks again I will be back. Go see Marco! Youre welcome!
Working with Perillo BMW is a great customer experience. Clearly 5 Stars 👍👍👍👍👍!From the beginning to the closing, all details were handled with great care !!! My key sales person Sean was very diligent and completely available to me at all times. I highly recommend Perillo BMW for Your Next BMW purchase. Peter Morris
Alex in the service department was amazing! Took the time to walk me through my questions and did not rush me off the phone. He has tremendous knowledge and would trust him with any BMW that I own!
Dimitri was absolutely amazing he had to take over because me and another salesperson just was not working out. I was glad to experience such rewarding customer service and class from Dimitri! Thanks Again🙂
Overall good experience. We came not knowing what we want, and end up buying a car that my husband adores. Big thanks to Ken Reffsin. He was professional and easy to work with, helped us to find a car we wanted despite a limited inventory. The buying process was a breeze as well, no hustling or last minute surprises.
Came in from Minneapolis to buy a car. I was treated great by all involved, particularly Peter the sales guy. Love my CPO BMW and would recommend this dealership to a friend -- even if theyre 400 miles away Chicago.
The service department is built for volume and not focused on the quality of the client experience. If you have expectations from your experience at other bmw dealerships please leave them at the door if you decide to use this shop. Fortunately for Perillo they are the only BMW shop in downtown Chicago.I am not a car mechanic, that said I assume the actual work done is satisfactory - but does it really matter if you leave feeling disrespected. I have been in contact with management on multiple occasions over the past several years so this is not an issue of poor communication - they just don’t care. Please review your client experience from the client’s first point of contact to retrieving the vehicle - strive to meet and exceed established best practices seen across the BMW brand in the USA and globally.
I worked with Garrett on leasing a new 2021 BMW X3 and he could not have been more helpful or responsive to all the questions and curveballs I threw him. He was transparent, easy to communicate with, and most of all willing to go the extra mile in closing a sale. If youre in the market for a BMW in the region, I highly recommend working with Garrett.
I had my X5 serviced this week and the customer service from Brad I. and the team was excellent. He was friendly and professional, gave me a fair quote that he stuck to, and was flexible with my need to pick up the car. I only did the quick drive back to the condo, but don’t anticipate any trouble with the service performed once I can get out on the highway for a proper drive. Before taking the car there, I read a number of glowing reviews for sales and poor ones for service. My experience was the opposite of those reviews, and I’m glad to have Brad and team helping me with my car service. Highly recommended.
I bought a 2015 535i xDrive in June 2016 with around 10k miles on it. The overall sales experience was positive, and I thought it was a fair price. The next morning I got in the car and the tire pressure was low in the right front tire. I let my sales person (Don Mariano) know and it wasnt a big deal. The leak was very slow, so didnt make another trip in to have it fixed until it needed regular service in December 2016. The service advisor (Danette Surges) told me there was a leak and it needed to be replaced for $300+. I re-explained to her that it was an issue when I bought the car. After Don got involved, they offered to plug the leak. When i asked Danette why she hadnt given me that option when she thought I was going to be paying, she said it is because they dont recommend plugging run flat tires. Seems odd, but still not that big of deal. They did the scheduled maintenance, fixed the tire, and I got the car back.A couple weeks ago I felt like my car was sliding all over the road and noticed the back tires were worn. I took it into a tire shop and they said the back tires were legally bald and wrote in big letters on the form not safe to drive. I would have just had them replace the tires, but they told me they thought there could be a bigger issue because the rear tires were so much more worn than the front tires.I called Perillo and the first service adviser I talked to (didnt get his name) immediately said Oh, that happens with these terrible Chicago roads. Fair point, but I commute from the suburbs on a pretty decent highway. He then said it wouldnt be unusual for the rear tires to wear out first because my car had rear wheel drive. Fair point, except my car has all wheel drive. He said he would have Danette call me back. She never did. After Danette never called back I ended up talking to Angelo Montalbano. He seemed sympathetic, and agreed with me that it was unusual that even if the tire wear was normal, it didnt all happen in the three months since my last visit and Danette should have advised me that the tires needed to be replaced when I was in for my scheduled maintenance. (My theory: She knew there was something wrong, they were already fixing a different issue with the tires, and if she said something Perillo would end up having to replace the back tires at their expense)After playing phone tag with Angelo for a couple days, he finally told me that he checked the certifed pre owned report form before I bought the tires and that they had 4 mm of tread depth, which is above the 3mm of tread depth before the tires need to be replaced, so there was nothing he could do. He did a lot of talking in circles, but he would not acknowledge that it was unusual that the back tires wore so much faster than the front tires. He also said they werent bald, they were just worn. You can decide for yourself if you want to deal with these people, but Ive included photos below to help you make up your mind. The picture on the left is the driver side front, the one on the right is the driver side rear.As for me, I regret having done business with them in the first place and will certainly never go back.
Joe Perillo and his staff are always wonderful to deal with. Every time I bring my Rolls Royce for service they always treat me right. Angelo and Israel have gone above and beyond to assure I am happy every single time I have contacted them or brought my car in. I have my car transported from Michigan specifically to work with these guys. Unmatched service. Highly recommended. Thanks guys!
I dropped off my X5 with Dan C for bumper and wheel repair as well as nasty door ding. Dan kept me updated throughout the process, and was flexible when I needed to change plans. Great communication. Total Pro. And best of all the car looks great. Thanks again!
I worked with Jason Neagu.. Had a great experience. Was very receptive to my calls and questions. Took his time to explain details and compare different buying/leasing options. Was very happy with my overall experience with Jason and the entire Perillo BMW team. Will definitely be back in the future when its time to look for a new car.
Thank you Jason N. for everything! Jason made my first time buying experience smooth. His patience and knowledge helped me to understand the process. I only came in with intentions to check out a few cars and ended up comfortable enough to move forward with a purchase that same day. He made sure I had brand new tires, car was detailed, buffed and looked brand new! Thanks again, Jason.
I had the best experience working with Vanessa at Perillo BMW. We worked a deal entirely through email on my 2019 X3 as I live 3 hours away from Chicago. She was very honest and attentive to my needs which allowed the purchase of my vehicle to be quick and easy. I would recommend Vanessa in a heartbeat to anyone needing to purchase a vehicle from Perillo. As for the dealership itself, everyone was so inviting and friendly. The finance lady was amazing! Im sorry I cant remember her name right now but she was upfront and efficient at her job. I was really impressed with Perillo BMW. It was definitely worth the 3 hour drive. Thank you Vanessa for being amazing and finding my dream vehicle!
I purchased my used BMW X3 used in August of 2019 (my first luxury car). At the time, it had 11k miles. At 20k miles, it was due for an oil change. I took it to the dealer to have the oil change completed. By the end of my oil change visit I was charged $1,545 This included a 10% discount because I was surprised that a car with 20K miles would need so much work. The repairman indicated I needed 2 new tires. When I asked if I could take the car to Costco, he said I couldn’t drive the vehicle due to it being unsafe to drive with the current tires. Needless to say, I was sold 2 “new” front tires. Unfortunately, one of the two tires was in fact not new and had a previous hole and plug in the tire. Sadly, I was sold a used tire.I have made multiple attempts to reach BMW and even attempted to contact the sales rep. No one from BMW has responded to my calls. If I get resolution, I will post an update on this review. Please use caution when working with these people to make sure the parts they install are new!The thing that scares me most is that I could have been in an accident because of the ‘new’ tire. This could have ended much worse. Likely, I will not be returning. I am including pictures of the tire (note the tread) and the repair receipt that includes the $765.53 charge for the tires.
Bought my car here a few years ago and had good experiences. The maintenance is ridiculous overpriced but I continued to use them for convenience. Glad to have just gotten the motivation to find a new service station. I went in today for an oil change and was horrified by the number of both staff and customers without masks or pulling them down to have noses exposed. I mentioned it to a staff member and he apologized but did not offer any solution. If you are doing what you can to protect yourself during the pandemic, avoid Perillo.Edit: by the owners response you can also see the lack of ethics in their willingness to divulge personal information on their customers.
Marco at Perillo BMW is fantastic! After looking at a few different cars at a few different dealerships Marco was a breath of fresh air. He did not try to sell us a car but rather counseled us on the best vehicle to fit our needs. Marco took time to understand what we wanted and did his best to point us in the right direction. Marco is passionate about his work, knowledgeable about his product and a pleasure to work with. We will be back to see Marco, and, if he is able to help you I am sure you will too.
Excellent straight forward service at Perillo. Worked with Jason G. who was extremely knowledgeable and steered me to the right car. Buying process couldn’t have been easier. Great experience.
Avoid this dealership! The service certain will make up any excuse to charge you more money for something that should be covered under warranty.I just had to cough up over $2,100 to replace a battery on my 2018 BMW M3 (purchased brand new April 2019) because the service center claims the battery was not properly maintained. The vehicle is only one and half years old. It has been garage kept and driven normally, excluding a two-week period when I was forced to be away from the vehicle due to COVID19. It was an unplanned event, however it should not have resulted in a battery replacement. The symptoms of an electrical problem initially manifested just before the first service interval (approximately 3 months old) when I noticed an alert upon starting the vehicle one day. The alert said the battery was weak and if the problem persisted to contact the service center (not the exact verbiage, however that is the summary of the alert). Still, the car started fine and I did not see any follow up warnings in the days to follow. Almost one week later I took the vehicle in to Perillo BMW service center for its initial service. I informed the service agent of the recently displayed battery warning and asked that it be investigated. The vehicle was returned to me several hours later and the report said the battery was in good condition. Obviously this was false!Fast forward a few months and the car will not start after having to be away from it for reasons related to COVID as aforementioned. The service advisor told me the battery was not properly maintained and would not be covered under warranty. I explained to the advisor that diagnosis did not align with how the vehicle was operated on a regular basis. He then tried to use the mileage as an indicator that the vehicle is not driven much, as if that justifies a new battery dying within the first year. The vehicle had approximately 5,400 miles on at the time. Prior to the pandemic the car was driven regularly, albeit not very far on average. After explaining this to the service advisor he then indicated that the battery should be put on a charger when its not being driven. This makes absolutely no sense to me, as I have NEVER had to put my vehicle on a trickle charger if it is not driven in two weeks. Ive had an Acura TL that had to be out in the cold for over a month and the battery was fine. Never had a problem with any other cars battery under normal operating conditions. I could see if I left the M3 in the elements for several months, then sure, a trickle charger would be required. TWO WEEKS? In a garage, away from the elements? No! All signs point to faulty battery! My previous vehicle was a 2016 M3, and I never had this issue. I had to leave that car in my garage for 2 weeks from time to time because of travel for work and it always fired right up. So this is clearly an issue specific to the battery that was put in the vehicle prior to purchase and BMW refuses to take ownership of a pre-existing problem.I raised a case with BMW directly on the issue. After 3+ weeks of no response I eventually received a message that the battery will not be covered under warranty. My friends and family members all told me about the horror stories of owning a BMW. Unfortunately I did not listen. I had such an exceptional experience with my first BMW that I thought it was safe to become a return customer. Even trying to convince them that the issues they experienced were things of the past and BMW is reliable. Sadly, I now have to eat those words. I now agree with them 100%. This has been a major headache, and a costly one at that. There is no reason a new vehicle should require a battery replacement within 1 year of operation. Even more alarming is that BMW refused to cover it. I have a relative that purchased a new BMW X7 and from the time it was driven off the lot the vehicle had warnings and errors. It had to be taken to service over 5 times! At this point I am done with BMW and I highly recommend not using Perillo BMW, as you will be taking a gamble the could cost you big!
The dealership is extremely transparent and helpful. I was paired with Ryan. He was extremely polite and always a phone call away. Called him like 100 times and he would always make himself available. The entire purchase was done online (thanks to the seamless process the team has created in the light of COVID). Ryan was extremely delligent took care of all the finances, paperwork and went above and beyond to arrange for shipment. I would highly recommend to ask for Ryan if you are making an out of state purchase. The guy knows everything.
They did such an impressive job losing a customer. Maybe they are very conscious and selective in showing their rudeness, snobbery, and ignorance to people in certain demographics. Or they are trained to judge people who walk in by their appearance and use some abusive sales tactics on certain people so that they can take advantage of them. But sorry, you picked the wrong target this time. I can tell from other reviews that it is not always the case when they interact with other customers. But please be aware that they are most certainly ready and willing to treat some customers in a completely unacceptable manner. I was surprised that a luxury brand dealer will have sales personnel who would give one word answers or no answer at all to customers legitimate questions. I was shocked and at the same time amused that they would even question your questions. This is what happens when a dealership does not need to worry about lack of sales. This is what happens when some employees have managed to get away from the consequence of their behaviors. This is the first review I have ever posted online. And you can rest assured that I will use every bit of my social influence to persuade other BMW customers in every possible way to go to another dealer.
My blood is literally boiling of outrage for having spent over 5hrs in the waiting room for my car that was apparently completed hours ago. I was given an estimated time of 3pm from my appointment at 930am and i arrived at 130pm to wait an hour or so. However, at 330pm i received a text stating my inspection report has been completed with issues that needed to be addressed. I declined and informed the service rep. I was here in house and that i knew of the issues already. Hours go by and Im seeing every employee walk past me multiple times including my service rep. as if Im so homeless man waiting in a chair with no business being there. And not a single employee felt the need to ask if Im waiting on anything. And what made the problem worse was the fact that the service rep. Thats supposed to be contacting me, hasnt even informed me that my vehicle has been completed and ready for pick up. And i finally text her before my phone was about to die on 3%, they tell me, you can come in before 7pm to pick up your car. And I a tell them that Ive been here since around 2pm waiting and they say oh i sent you a text at 4pm saying were getting your paper work ready as if thats a clear indication my car is complete. I will never bring my car here ever again. The customer service employees take no ownership of whos sitting in their own office. and considering there wasnt even a follow-up upon completion from the service rep. themselves nor help from employees walking around seeing me multiple times, from porters to managers. I didnt get my car back until 630pm, it wasnt until i reached out. This experience just Shows the carelessness/selfish of the entire establishment. This service doesnt even deserve one star.
We love buying cars from Ken! Weve been doing so for years; i wont say how many because it might reveal how old we all are. Suffice to say he has always made buying our cars a pleasure. Perillo is a wonderful dealership which stands behind its cars, its service, and of course, its sales staff. i also love the genius guys who can answer any questions you have about your car in a moment when you drive up in front (if its a quick question). Today i dealt with Tyler who was terrific. My husband and i purchased two cars within the last 3 weeks -- now thats a statement!
Sold me a car with an oils leak and no detail
I visited the dealer yesterday. After a very arrogant salesperson spoke with me, I decided to visit a Porsche dealership where I meet with a real salesperson
This was one of the best experiences at a dealership so far.Extraordinary.I scheduled a test drive a few days ago with Dawn.Unfortunately, I got caught up at work, and so I was about an hour late to the appointment. One of their client advisors, Martin, greeted me with a smile and completely disregarded my tardiness. He said it was completely understandable and proceeded to get to know me and was interested in knowing how he could help make my experience a positive one....he didnt try to sell me the car I test drove. No mind tricks. No aggressiveness. He showed it to me, I drove it, we talked a bit about it, and that was it.Didnt force anything whatsoever. It felt so refreshing that I felt like buying it right then and there, and if I had the money for it, I wouldve. If anyone is interested in a BMW at this dealership, ask for Martin and/or Dawn, theyll take care of you.
Even though I ended up buying a different car, Id still like to give Perillo BMW a shout out. Compared to the various dealerships that I visited, I found that Perillo was very responsive to inquires and provided transparent pricing. The sales experts here (Ken, in particular) are great to work with and actually make car-shopping a fun experience.
I recently visited Perillo BMW to see a car I desired to purchase. Now upon entering the facility I was ignored by multiple salesmen on the showroom floor. I was completely disregarded. I asked to speak to a certain salesman and upon requesting the vehicle I wanted to see it took over 15 minutes just to get the car to ground level. As I waited in the showroom the stares began, I would walk over to cars in the showroom to view them because I do love BMWs and every move I made was slowly being watched by the salesmen. Then an assumed salesmen has no attempt to hide his attitude when asking me “So, do you have an appointment?” which to I replied “yes I do” and stated my salespersons name. To this the gentleman scoffed and walked away. Overall I felt I wasn’t taken serious, I was disregarded, and treated unfairly. I believe that if I was white I would not have received this treatment at all. I would never expect a top tier dealer such as Perillo BMW to have such an ill mannered staff. Serious customer lost.
I had an exceptional experience getting my new car. Working with Eddy Duarte to get the perfect car was very satisfying. He is incredibly knowledgeable and not a pushy in your face salesman, which was one of the reasons why I left Loeber Mercedes after getting my vehicles from them for many years. Sebastian, the finance manager, was also very respectful and kind. Thank you Eddy and Sebastian!
Please never buy CPO from here. They usually cheat customers if they are not careful. They replace the original parts with worn out parts, so u have to get them replaced after ur warranty is over.Just after my free service ended, my front brakes had to be replaced ($1300) at
I don’t usually write reviews, but my experience has been so horrible that I feel I need to warn others regarding the staff and the service that I received. I’ve owned multiple BMWs over the last decade and since my move to Chicago a few years ago, I’ve went to them mainly as a matter of convenience due to their location and definitely not because of any great service. But I have finally had enough and will travel into the suburbs every time that I need maintenance, simply to avoid the stress a
Great experience! Marc Brenner took the time to help me select the perfect car. Fantastic follow up service to make exceeds my expectations of customer care. Thanks
I’ve bought my last 3 cars from Perillo and the service seems to get better every time. Especially working with Garrett Goldstein. He is direct, thoughtful and wants you to get what fits you best. The rest of the staff is excellent to interact with as well. Never had any complains with service either.
Easily the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. Eddy made it such a seamless and pleasant transaction. I love my new car and couldn’t be happier to have chosen Eddy and Perillo BMW to work with!
Alex and Harry were terrific helping us get a totally dead BMW i3 electric off of an auto transport trailer and wake it up. They were then able to get it inside the facility and replace the battery. Cannot thank you guys enough!!
Marco was terrific. Bought a used car sight unseen from a 1,000 miles away. Car turned up and was exactly as described. No messing, no nonsense, just a nice simple clean deal. Recommend.
Garbage salesmen working here, straight up told us to go work with a dealer in our area to avoid paperwork. Thatll really get customers through the door...
Smooth experience from start to finish. Marco was very helpful throughout the buying process. Wait time to sign the paperwork was way more than expected and that is why I’m giving 4 stars. Overall very good experience and will refer this dealership to friends and family.
Jason Neagu was extremely helpful during my car buying experience. From the moment we met he worked to make sure I knew everything about the car I was looking to get and even stayed late to work through some last minute changes we had to make with the deal. Overall I had a wonderful experience and plan on coming back when I’m in the market for a new vehicle.
Sales process was super easy. The internet helps. Lots of choices but we were able to drill down to the car we liked quickly. Not too exciting after that. Closing went quickly. Thought the car could have had better detailing prior to pick up. Dan Mariano was great and accommodating.
I tried to lease an X3 from another BMW dealership and found communication severely lacking. I contacted Perillo and within 24 hours Ken Reffsin provided several options that met my needs, answered my many questions, and finalized the sale. The price negotiation was quick, honest, and free of BS. The process was incredibly easy and after reaching agreement by email, we came in the next night and within an hour were trained on the cars features and signed the paperwork.
These guys made the car buying experience a pleasure. They are knowledgeable, honest, and really go out of their way from a customer service standpoint. Highly recommended.
Eddy was the best car salesman I have ever worked with and my wife and I have bought many cars. He was knowledgeable, friendly and not pushy. The whole dealership made the experience easy and fun. I highly recommend it.
I had an excellent experience at Perillo BMW. I set up an appointment with Jason Neagu and he was there waiting for me when I got to the dealership. He is very professional and easygoing. There was no pressure at all. We went for the test drive and had a nice conversation. He gave me a very good deal on the car. I bought it that day. The prices at Perillo are fantastic! My brother had purchased a car there 2 weeks prior. I would definitely go back for another car in the future.
The dealership facilities was at par with what you would expect at a BMW dealership. But it took me almost the whole day on a Saturday to get everything done despite having shortlisted specific cars in advance and having an appointment for my visit.Since they don’t have all their inventory at the store, it took time to get some of the car over. Finally the car that I selected needed some work to be done on which I appreciate the dealership to do without charging me for it. But I expected better post-sales service from them. I have had to follow up couple of times and still don’t know when I will get my car ready for pick up.
I wanted a luxury car but had no car history. I stopped by Perillo first time, and Jason Neagu helped me get 4 series coupe within a day with an easy application. Within 5 month I came back and Jason helped me switch to a brand new 840 convertible. Again, application & approval process was very easy - all in a day & I picked up my new 8 series. Very happy with my purchase and especially with help from Jason. Will come back and purchase from Jason again! 5 stars
Last year, I purchased a pre-owned 2016 BMV 7 series. I love this car.I was later informed that the car was a buy back with a branded title.Recently, I was told that the initial warranty could not be extended and that a service warranty could not be purchased for this car, because it is a lemon.I now have a car that I cannot drive on the open road, as it has no warranty!Dishonest salespeople and management at this dealership.DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!
