Today was my second visit to Jaguar/Land Rover Chicago and the experience was far from satisfactory to say the least. The customer service rep, Hugh who checked in my car not only was rude, but also misinformed.When checking-in I asked Hugh if someone could answer a few technical questions I had about my Jag and he promised to schedule a 10-15 min session with a technician at pick up. However, when I arrived to pick the car I was told I will be charged $195/hr regardless of what/how many questions I had since I did not purchase the car from that dealership. Which is appalling. Ive owned non-Jag cars and had never heard anything like that before.Further, when I requested Hugh to have a technician show me if the issue (that I had to come in for the second time) was fixed, not only did he vehemently decline, but even had the audacity to tell me I was nit-picking! He then advised me to drive around and come back if the issue persists. I was even refused their official e-mail id upon request.I found this really offensive and requested to speak with the manager, Daryl, who later apologized for Hughs behavior however, did not offer to get the questions I had about my Jag answered without being charged.Very disappointing, I thought Jaguar was a premium brand, i.e., premium service. Having said that, since my experience during the first visit at this dealership was fairly decent, I will give them a second chance (may be Hugh was having a long day) and update this review depending on how my next visit goes, which, given the latest experience, I hope does not happen anytime soon.

Had my 2018 Jaguar F-pace service with Tim Brewer, he informed me my 5 years 60k miles warranty are expiring next month. Also didnt replaced my cabin filter and said they did. Oil change interval is at 16k miles? Stay away from this dealership for service. Cabin filter should be changed every year and not 4 years. Service Manager was rude and not professional.

Where should I start...I had my car towed in from a different Jaguar dealer. Within 10mins of my car arriving I was called by my service advisor Hugh to make me aware my vehicle had arrived and to let me know he would have a technician on it right away. Three hours later my car was diagnosed and began to be repaired, it was ready within 48 hours!! I have never received better treatment at any other luxury car dealership thus far!! Highly recommended

Even during the polar vortex and sub-freezing conditions, the team at Howard Orloff-Jaguar were prompt, efficient and smoothly took care of my F-Pace. Was able to drop my ride and get a rental from Enterprise (within the dealership) within 20 minutes. Great service and wonderful experience!

Francisco needs to learn the car biz..you can’t rip off everybody..I sold 25 cars a month for 6 years and enjoying early retirement..The black book value for the 2017 f pace prestige is 34,528 with 8k miles every vehicle online is marked up 8k dollars for customers that don’t know any better, I can pay cash for what it’s worth but I’m not trying to buy Goya beans for the whole neighborhood..lmao!!

FIRST CLASS all the way! In a time when customer service and respect have seemingly gone by the wayside, the folks at Howard Orloff have broken the mold. I came to the dealership looking at a particular used car- one that was not one of their house brands (Jaguar, Land Rover, Volvo). I had no appointment and just stopped in on a weekday afternoon. As I wandered around the dealership, not knowing who to turn to, everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I was quickly put in touch with an available salesperson (Matt B.) who was nothing but exceptional. Matt was very informative, easygoing, and professional, always making me feel that I was never wasting his time. I have been to many other dealerships where you feel as if you are just a transaction which could not be further from the truth at Orloff. When it came time to do the negotiating on the car it felt more like a dialogue rather than a battle- which shows you just how seriously they want to make sure youre feeling respected. David S. did the financing details and he too was first-rate. As a western suburb resident deciding to buy a car in the city was not my first choice but I can tell you that I will be definitely be back to give Orloff my future business. It is no wonder they have been in business for decades as they truly understand what is means to be customer-centered. Thanks Matt and David!

Appointment at 0900 to drop my car off for service. Didn’t leave until 950. At one point I stood in the middle of the service area for about 10 min before anyone even acknowledged me. Thankfully my car only needs to come in once a year but this sort of thing will dissuade me from buying another jaguar.

I have been a customer of Howard Orloff for more than five years. I recently purchased my second (slightly used) Volvo from top salesman, Shawn Stephens. What a pleasant experience! Shawn was personable and extremely knowledgeable. I particularly appreciated that he was a fair and thoughtful negotiator, considerate of my time and budget. I highly recommend Orloff Imports and, when you go, ask for Shawn!

I stopped in to have my key FOB repaired for my XF. The first Service rep I encountered (didn’t get his name) was extremely attentive and helpful. He then escorted me (not directed, huge difference) over to the Parts Department where Bill took care of my issue and I was out the door in five minutes. I work at a large hotel on Michigan Avenue and I will relay this great experience to my staff. If you want to build clientele and repeat business, this is how you do it!

This place is definitely top notch in my book. Mark my salesman was very knowledgeable about all of the vehicles I was interested in knowing more about. Once I made my purchase he made a follow up call to make sure I was happy with my purchase, and offered addition training if I felt the need in understanding how my new SUV Discovery worked. I bought a used Volvo from Howard Orloff. The process went smoothly. I did not buy an extended warranty. Within three weeks of owning the car, the seat belt buckle broke. I called and spoke to Greg the Service Manager. They ordered the part needed, made an appointment for me, installed it, and even washed my car all for free. There was no question from their perspective that they should take responsibility. The part was not expensive, but their attitude means much more to me than the cost of the part. Well done Howard Orloff. Fantastic customer service. Thank you.

Their services are not cheap but for the quality you receive and the high customer service they provide I think it is worth going there. Throughout the entire process I never felt overwhelmed. Once I picked up my vehicle, I was made to feel very special & important. She took time to go through the features of my new vehicle and answer any questions I had. Chris Kowalik,the finance manager, was also very pleasant and helpful. So I called my friends at Howard Orloff with an apparently minor dashboard alarm on a Friday at 4 PM...they are thoughtful enough to tell me to swing by and they will take a look. less than 24 hours later, major brake repair identified and completed; a bad tire identified and replaced including special order and pre-approvals. A beautiful Jaguar loaner was provided as a courtesy for as long as I needed it based on repair duration. Luis Nunez and the entire team were pretty incredible. Incredible is pretty normal at Howard Orloff!!!!! Cannot thank you all enough!!! 25 years of a great partnership with the team at Orloff and counting!!!!!

We just purchased a used LR4 from Howard Orloff. We got an incredible deal and it was a great experience. We live in California and found the vehicle on their website, called Tom Eckhardt and he gave us an unbelievable price. Honestly, the best car buying experience weve had. Especially considering we live out-of-state and were buying the vehicle remotely. Tom walked us through everything, sent us detailed photos and records and basically gave us a great amount of confidence in the truck and the dealership. The LR4 just showed up and we are more than pleased with it. Great deal, great experience.

Wow, this review is for David Segil! My husband and I had a plan to purchase a car, we just needed to figure out which brand. As soon as we started looking at Volvos, the choice was clear. - Being a former SAAB driver myself, I am a loyalist when it comes to Scandinavian design, undeniably superior (ha ha!) I did not necessarily have high expectations of the sales process because I knew that in the end, it really would just come down to finding the perfect car, the price, and financing. When we met David, we very quickly realized we were in the best of hands. David gave us just the right amount of attention and assistance without making us feel pressured and we took notice of that. We also found him to be super personable and professional. The process was easy and very swift. Being in sales myself, I know the importance of connecting with clients and giving that sense of genuine reassurance without pressuring. Also, David knew all the ins-and outs of the financing and was able to answer even the smallest question that we had. A few days after talking purchase of the car, David personally called me to follow up and see how things were going with my new car, which I LOVE and really appreciated! We really enjoyed the process and when my husband is ready to purchase a new vehicle - we are going back to David! I highly recommend Volvos, and if you are in Chicago, go see David!

Stay away. dont even pass this garbage dealership.the worst customer serviceworked to matt at first, claims he wants to help and looks like he wants to make a deal but it was all a pile of b/s. doesnt follow up and doesnt seem to want to make a deal.i called at first for some lease numbers on a jaguar epace and didnt work out. matt knew my budjet and suggest thru email a discovery sport. went in and the number he presented me was $168 over the number i wanted. called the next day to inquire about a range rover evoque $33,995. said he would work on numbers.got me some numbers and then said he would get back to me on a official number (mind you i live 5 min away and will sign straightaway) lunch time seemed to be more important than a sale.called and emailed him no response.called the front and asked for a different sales rephere comes mark ( oh mark) the over achiever who under delivers. called him today thursday at 11ishamall of a sudden matt calls me at 12pm hey claudine, i came in on my day off to make sure everything is going okay for you. i know mark is helping youwow matt (round of applause for working on a client that has been trying to make a deal since 8 days ago)with in 5 minutes of the first call mark said he can make the deal i want work. I bought a Range Rover Sport from Howard Orloff a couple of years ago. I researched online and found the perfect vehicle. My wife and I went there and was amazed by there hospitality and professionalism. Fast-forward to late 2016. I was in the market for another vehicle; the Jaguar XF. We decided Howard Orloff again. Same routine as before and found our vehicle. We purchased the car in November; certified pre-owned. Staff was again; amazing. January; rear-view camera went out. Contacted dealer; they told me to bring the car in; covered by warranty. I took the car in Saturday morning. The Service Specialist informed me that he would call me when they have an answer for me. Late Saturday; no reply. Closed Sunday; Monday get a call from the rep. Told me they found the problem after their diagnostic test; a loose wire. Every thing else was in working condition. The car should be ready by this afternoon. Monday passed by; Rep called me Tuesday afternoon and told me that the warranty does not cover wires. He informed me that another diagnostic test needed to be done at a rate of $150 an hour; which would take about three hours. I stated that you already told me what the problem was; a loose wire. He asked do you want to continue; or do you want to pick up your car?. I picked up my car. Never-the-less; I was truly disappointed. We vowed before that experience that Howard Orloff would be our car buying dealership. Dennis W.

Time flies and you often end up where you started. I had an overheating issue with my XJL, and it happened about 4 blocks from Orloff. I could not get there fast enough, pulled my car in and long story short, despite what you may hear about car dealers, my experience has been platinum, impressive, and superb, and I am very pleasantly surprised. I built my practice on Ritz Carlton customer service, so I expect it. Ikram Alam in service, my Service Consultant was, is and has been AMAZING! Ikram demonstrated fantastic follow through, excellent communication and HONESTY! I also dealt with Ralph Lippert in sales - super. Jeffrey Orloff remembered me from 20 years ago plus, and made sure he said hi. Love it. Due to geographics I was at another dealership - but no customer service. Form how I was treated they regained what will be a VERY loyal customer. Great job Ikram and crew! Thank you very much.

Had a great experience with my sales person-Alicia Houston. I went in a month or so ago for a test drive on the Range Rover Evoque. I literally had my mind made up that I wanted this truck before I got to the dealer. But when I got in it it seemed a little smaller than my liking, so I sat in a few other models and landed on the Range Rover Sport HSE Lux to test drive. Alicia got a few other cars moved out of the way and we test drove it. She explained all the differences to me and when I told her I wasnt ready to purchase that day but would be back closer to the end of the year she didnt pressure me at all. In the meantime I decided I wanted another color and another year. By the time I was ready to purchase, about month later they had another truck in stock and my husband went back to test drive it on a Thursday, I then went back to purchase it on Saturday. The only thing I noted was a typical sales play of trying to make us think the truck we wanted was being considered by another buyer when the battery was dead and it was literally sitting low like it hadnt been driven in weeks. Therefore-no one had taken the truck out for consideration. Since I had other options it didnt bother me, if it wasnt there when I went back it wasnt meant for me to have. No need to insight anxiety. All in all, the purchase process was easy peasy, Alicia was professional and real, the finance staff was easy to understand. I look forward to having my truck taken care of by the service department in the future. I love my new truck!
