Until Derek and Chicago Auto Warehouse, I hated the entire car buying experience. I am a huge car fan, but going through the typical dealership experience was always one of the most stressful and frustrating processes. But with Derek, I finally realized how buying a car should have been done all along. You find the right dealer to buy from (CAW/Derek) and then everything goes so much better.I sent an email to Derek at CAW initially telling him that I found him on Yelp and was very impressed by his stellar reviews, which I had never seen before for any car dealer. He called me back and we started talking through what we were looking for. We went to his dealership the following weekend to talk to him and get a sense for how working with him would be. He is such an easy person to work with, he is honest and transparent, and he wants to help make you happy, and will help you figure out what it is that you want. We started thinking we wanted another SUV, but what we ultimately realized after talking with him was that we did not need an SUV. So we started looking at sedans, and once I old him what we were looking for, he was able to pull an amazing deal together for us. He never pressured us or rushed us, he fixed the front bumper on the car for free even with the great price we had already, and we were able to finalize everything once we were ready in 30 minutes.I will be calling Derek for our next car purchase even if we are not in Chicago, as it is more worth it to me to work with people who care and respect you, then finding the best deal. Derek and Alex, you both run an amazing establishment, and you have customers for life in us!

A great place to do business! Every one of the vehicles of Chicago Auto Warehouse are stored inside. It is crowded but they will get any vehicle out for you to test drive. What I learned while there is that upon arrival each vehicle is detailed, the oil & oil filter, air and cabin filters are changed. They carry all types of vehicles but are picky about what they offer for sale. I will be back!

I dread going into dealerships. The whole thing is always stressful and mentally exhausting with the egocentric sales people. This wasn’t the case here at all. Derek made the whole process smooth and pleasant. Great deals and really went the extra step to take care of me with the little things which in my eyes are huge. Highly recommend!

Let me just start by saying the owner and workers are hands down the best. Derek took care of the hastle of buying my classic car. He treated me like an actual customer and not like some money pit. I cant possibly say enough about this place and my experience. I bought a Tesla from them after shopping the car nationwide for more than a year. I finally found a car that had all the criteria I was looking for. Derek promised me from the outset that hed make the deal work. He was attentive to every detail, knew his stuff inside and out, and bent over backwards to make the deal work. So the whole sale part of the equation went great and without a hitch.But its what happened AFTER the sale prompted me to give this place five stars (if there were more, Id give it more!). There was a mechanical issue with my vehicle that I discovered a few days after the sale. I called Derek and explained it to him and he promised me that he was going to do whatever it took to make it right. He stayed in constant communication with me (dozens and dozens of texts and phone calls!) and went above and beyond to help me through the process. Sure enough, he took care of it just like he said he would. As if that wasnt enough, there was a small issue with my plates and registration of the vehicle, and he drove down personally to the DMV to work it out for me.I have to admit, I have always bought my cars from big dealerships and was initially apprehensive about buying from a smaller boutique dealership, but I can say this with every ounce of conviction I have: This was the best car-buying experience Ive EVER had! I Was looking for a car, because I was in a accident. Did not want to go out because it was very cold. My sister referred me to Derek. When I got there looking for a car, it was very nice because his cars are in a warehouse. A place where it is warm. Also Derek took the time out to look on the internet and help me find the car I wanted. He was in no hurry did not rush me. Took the time out as long as it took for me to find a car that I wanted. He also said give it a week. So he could transport the car to Chicago. In about 4 days the car was here detailed and ready for me to pick it up. I was Very happy with his service. Great experience buying a 2014 BMW i3 about two months ago. Derek showed us everything about the car and I test drove it. Best price and quality within 100 miles. No high price markup and price negotiation game. In and out with the car less than 2 hours. Office manager Alex even mailed me $83 two weeks later for the difference of applying electric Plate from the state. Very honest business.

Very nice people. We came to look at a 2013 Chevy compact found on cargurus. No e that the showroom is indoors. The staff answered all questions and talked to us for a while on a cold, slow Saturday. We ended up inheriting an older car so didnt buy, but otherwise may have, or would have come back around to see other cars. If the need arises again, we will patronize this establishment first.

I purchased a fully loaded ford flex from Derek in January 2019. I was looking for a rare set of features and he had it. He’s got a good eye for picking out the best examples of every make and model. The whole buying experience was pretty smooth. Derek is very knowledgable about his cars and gave me a really good walkthrough of the flex. He’s a car guy, not a pushy salesman. He knows his cars and only keeps quality inventory. I’ll look here the next time I go to buy a car.

Very professional experience, Derek clearly wasn’t hiding anything and was super honest with whatever dumb questions we had. Cars here will not disappoint, i know because Derek patiently showed me around nearly every vehicle just because i was so interested in what they had to offer. We had multiple vehicles to look at in the area from other dealers, Derek went out of his way to get us the carfax for cars HE WASNT EVEN SELLING, just to prove to us he had the best vehicle/price. After going to look at other dealers we headed back knowing we wanted to make an offer, meanwhile somebody else was looking at the same car. Derek was offered 500$ more dollars from this gentleman after us but he decided to save the car for when we got back!!! Dnt take ur care here. Took my car for repairs and they told me 1 day and it was 4 days but then had to take my car back because they didnt do a good job.
