Let me say that after all the postings on facebook this gave fun experience vibes. So being super excited to bring my little cousin in after school for some us time. She ordered some nachos and fried oreos...that she enjoyed. I ordered the shake that can be seen via the photo. Great presentation on the shake.The customer service or lack of will be the reason that I will not be returning. It was as if we were bothering the cashier by coming in and placing a order.

I will say that unfortunately I wont be returning. When I walked in I had high expectations of getting some candies from my childhood, a charms blow pop and a couple of fun dips. I asked all of the employees where could I find these items, one replied, whatever you see out, thats what we have, while the other two showed me that they would rather not serve me. As if I was interrupting them.Being the good guy that I am, I decided to stall my visit just to see if customer service would enhance, but it decreased. I looked around and noticed their menu and decided to try one of their shakes a crunch berry something with strawberry ice cream, and on the first sip I almost became diabetic, long story short, I was disgusted and disappointed, due to low enthusiasm, and bogus customer service, it tainted my experience and taste.

This was my first time going to this establishment. I was greeted coming in, friendly atmosphere. The good was good. They did not disappoint. So glad i believed the hype... Will be returning

My coworker told me about this spot, then a day or so later I was tagged in an interview about the store on Facebook... The young men there was super nice and inviting and the food was delicious... I loved my Crunch Berry Boom shake 😋😋😋

Won’t be returning. Very disappointed in the shakes as they do not look like what they post. Cashier was not so friendly yet I still tipped. Nachos are soggy and nasty $30 wasted

We came in on Saturday night at 7 to get shakes and some chips w/ cheese. They ran out of ice cream for the shakes so we couldn’t get those. Then, we ended up waiting over 40 minutes for chips w/ cheese. They told us they forgot to send out order back, but it still took 20 more minutes to get the food after they figured out it was an error on their end. Of course we get that mistakes happen, but there were literally no efforts made to rectify the situation. Usually if this kind of mistake happens, they at the very least expedite your order and get it made for you. I was legit surprised that people still got chips w/ cheese before us after they knew they forgot ours. In the long run, if repeat business is to be expected, check in with your customers. If there’s a problem fix at that time. For the prices, we expected a better experience from here. Moving forward I don’t think we’ll be coming back in the near future but hopefully one day we’ll try this again. For new people I hope your experience is better than ours.

Gives you that retro vibe. Great idea, reasonable prices, and a very friendly, family customer service. Cant wait till they blow up and get an even bigger place

I came here yesterday around 5:30 and babyyyy the customer service was on point the young lady greeted us to the point where we understood the assignment once we approached her she took our order kindly and fast. I felt like a kid again with all the candy, food, and cereal I lovedddd as a kid. Great workers!!! Love this place.

Brought my family here excited to support a black business. From the moment we walked in they didnt greet us, but greeted the woman who they knew who came in after us. The entire time we were there they laughed, snickered and grinned. It was a very uncomfortable place unlike the pictures and reviews. The shake was runny. Altogether, we should have went somewhere else. We just took my family to Sonic.This is Chicago, I was looking for candy and snacks not cereal. They had no other toppings for a Sundae, but cereal, and she stated it so rudely. The only benefit of that ride from the North to the Southside was our stop at Garretts on 87th. I hope they get better. Ive seen candy stands with more variety. They only have one Arcade Pac-man game so dont asume you going to a arcade. We easily spend $70-100 dollars on a outing, so I was excited to spend our money with our own. I only ended up spending about $45. Please do better!! Customer Service training couldnt hurt.

This Black-owned establishment offered excellent customer service, a huge selection of treats and goodies and a friendly atmosphere. COVID precautions were highlighted for safety. I kept my treat simple (vanilla shake with ”blueberry candy balls”) as this was my first visit. My daughter had the ”birthday cake” that was given the cutest unexpected touch! Everything was carefully made to perfection and delicious. I will be excited to witness the growth of this business because they truly nailed it!! I definitely recommend Munchiez (especially for the little ones). I will be back!

I went into this establishment today along with two family members. I had been once before but my two cousins go quite often. While waiting outside for my family members to come out, I realized I was not given all of my order. When I went in to inform them of the error, I was confronted with much aggression and disrespect. As we went back and forth, it was figured out that it was their error. Even after that, I was spoken to in a way that I could not believe! There was no regard to proper customer service. I was treated as if I was trying to get more than what I paid for. I was embarrassed and extremely disappointed by my experience. I asked for a refund as I continued to be talked to in a way that I wouldn’t address a dog. I do not recommend.

My brother and I got milkshakes and it was so good! They could tell it was out first time there and explained to us what was in there store. I can not wait to go back to try their other menu items!

Nice place good choices

Although I’m now 21 I was a kid again!!! A kid in a candy store lol!! It was so hard choosing what I wanted. I went with my boyfriend for his youngest sister 5th birthday November 15th. I got the Oreo shake and a nice handful of treats, wish I was able to come back for mine on November 24th. The staff was also very nice and accommodating so yea I’ll definitely be back.

This place is absolute fire! Highly recommend, we will continue to drive an hour for amazing food/shakes/cereal and creativity ! I ordered the Puff Diddy Shake and my boyfriend got the Crunch Berry Bomb and we’re blown away after the first sip. The people who work the counter are super friendly and very helpful. Plus they got cool merch!!!! 11/10
