Just awesome. Got some colored drip candles. Update: went back early Sept. W my baby daughter. Got more drip candles, but also a woodwick one too- great stuff. So much to choose from in the store. The man working was so sweet to my daughter too. I value candles since I burn them when Im doing something creative, so to find this local gem was a blessing.
So great to shop local. Great selection of candles of all types. Staff was very nice and helpful.
Wide selection .friendly staff.decent pricing....
I have created a day trip called Meet the Butcher, the Baker, and the Candlestick Maker. Weve had this trip three times and each were a big hit. Were (Cooking with the Best Chefs) planning more after the holidays. Waxman Candles couldnt have been nicer and more fun to work with!
Great class. Really enjoyed the candle making process!
By my Candles there all the time, a little bit expensive however they have all of the scents that I need in one place!?
I was looking for a replacement for always spending too much money on Yankee candles, and this was just the place. Local, handmade, and family run with a huge selection of scents and styles. If youre looking to support local artisans this is the store!
Nice and friendly staff! Very reasonable prices and lots of variety of scents that weren’t too strong. We walked away with a votive holder and 6 votives “make your own” kit for $30! Although these were for our own home, I would definitely make the same purchase for a gift.
We bought the triple strength candle for $20 and you couldnt smell it unless you got your nose within inches of the candle. You also have to burn them for an incredibly long time (5+ hours) to get them to burn evenly. Really a bummer because I wanted to support a local business but the candles at Bath & Body Works are the same price and radiate throughout the whole house. You can also burn them for just about an hour and the smell lasts half a day or more.
I love this place and their products, but the last couple times I have been in the customer service has been really bad. The two young woman that were working during my last visit were not helpful and I ended up making several errors that could have been avoided and caused less work for all of us had they takwn a few minutes to explain the process.
I was really, really excited to get a candle from this place when we moved into the neighborhood. My favorite candles Ive ever owned were handmade in a small shop in St. Augustine, FL, and I was hoping for a similar experience here. The standard candles here come in three varieties: regular, double scent, and triple scent. We bought one triple-scent wax candle, and one triple-scent soy candle. When we lit them at home, we couldnt smell a note of them without risking setting our faces on fire.We bought some candles at Bath and Body Works or somewhere boring like that and they delivered much better. I hate having to say that, but Waxmans candles were just disappointing. They do have a lot of cool candle paraphernalia though.
Friendly staff and one of the coolest stores Ive ever been in. If you have a thing for candles, I highly reccomend this place!
Fun candles all in different shapes and colors. Funky staff.
