I was there today, spot on everything, young hispanic butcher was unbelievable, cleaned,filleted and tenderize skirt steak for me,beautiful, pork ribs,and beef ribs, cut them to my liking.

Never disappointed!! Always great quality!!! Pleasant employees. If you plan on visiting ever, bundle up. Its ☃ freezing in there.

The meat is fresh. I can get catfish steaked or filled, Pork chops cut to my thickness, ground chicken, turkey and beef. The beef can be cut for tacos. Lamb chops, roasts and almost any other meat you want. My favorite is the turkey tails. Very very meaty.

It was a small store and some of the prices were decent. One problem is, it was very cold, my fingers felt like they were frost bitten . I just wished they had a wide variety of fish. Over all the place was clean and it doesnt have that bad smell like other meat stores have. I was impressed. I will come again. Country club hills IL, long way to get great meat products. And the staff was very helpful.

Great butcher with decent prices. Some things you can find on sale at local grocers for less money, but if you are looking for something that may be hard to find right now due to the virus, you may want to check here. They are sanitizing, checking temps and also limiting customers in. Waited longer outside than I spent inside, but it was worth it. I couldnt find ribs anywhere but here.

Wholesale prices, great products..fresh meats and iconic foods are found here such as Maxwell Street polish sausage and those famous Chicago rib tips by the casa...

As a long time customer the products are good as in basic cuts however the employee base doesnt come close to matching the customer base

I arrived around 8ish and was able to get everything I needed and get back to the restaurant before our doors had to open. My cashier was very friendly. I appreciate this location.

Great old school packing house with great meat. We always go there before we have a party to get the meat. Hand select your product or have it custom cut. The pork is superior then any grocery around. Cant wait to I get there next week.

I get my freshest meat here. The guys who help in cutting are very fast. Ur number is called and no response, they go on to the next. Theres no time to waste so customers dont wait.

First time visiting. Covid protocol is wearing masks, limiting capacity and checking everyones temperature. Product themselves are labeled and easy to follow. Great prices and great quality. You do need to wear gloves when grabbing meat and swapping gloves for new meat that you grab. Would recommend.

The prices are the best in the area. to turn over here is quick and the meat and fish are always fresh. A staff of well-trained butchers are always ready to prepare your meat to order. Get there early and dont forget to try the ground chicken.

They have no Catfish, this is the second time I have traveled there for catfish, lame excuse which I do not believe, sold out****

Been here 2X thus far and I’m impressed by their meat quality. Always fresh! They take Covid very seriously which I’m very grateful for because our safety comes first. They check your temperature right before going in and make sure you sanitize your hands and they wipe the cart handles before being able to take one. I recommend this location!

This place was hopping. You know the meat doesnt sit long when there are dozens of shoppers buying in bulk. The meat room is very cold, great for meat but youll be cold. My favorite thing about the physics store is that there isnt that weird raw meat smell. The prices are great. The meat is high quality. Great go-to butcher.

The cheapest butcher place in the city. The prices are so low, you just wont believe it. A forty pound box of chicken quarters is like $15. If youre having a big BBQ, this is the place to go. It can get a little crazy and busy inside, but if you can handle a little chaos - the prices make it all worth it.

No line today. Peoria has excellent quality meat. Came from NW suburbs worth the travel time. Would give 5 stars but the cashier was rude. Never acknowledged me threw my meat down the belt very disappointed in her customer service skills.

Returned June 18th. To restock my freezer. Best meat selection hands down. I travel from Indianapolis to Chicago every 3-4 months. I will not buy meat from any other place. Oh yeah 3 of is went there on OUR BUS $10 there and $10 back. Great adventure.

Great butcher shop in West loop. Prices are fair and have specialty cuts you might be looking for. Usually will compare to a grocery store and Peoria usually is cheaper. I like to come and buy in bulk and freeze meats. I would recommend coming during the week so its not as busy

The prices were reasonable for spare ribs I bought, the whole chicken, the skirt steak the pork chops the chicken wings were a little high. Everything was fresh.

They were great. There was a line and one of the staff took everyones temperature. They had you sanitize your hands before you could enter. And the carts were wiped before you got one. They only allow 10 people in at a time. Everything was marked for social distancing; both inside and outside. And I give them extra kudos for some strategically placed benches. Peoria got it right. It would be nice if they kept the10 person minimum because it can get pretty crowded at times. Also, they didnt increase their prices. Its still the best price for meat in Chicago.

As always still one of my favorite places to get meat... Even tho they were short on Crab Legs.

My first time at this place and I was so amazed it didn’t have a bad order very clean gloves were well stocked workers were very helpful the selection was great and most of all the prices was great.It was very Busy on a Sat but the people were very nice. It was very cold which I understand why. I will be traveling the two and half hours monthly just to stock my freezer.
