Im a big fan of Chicago Steak Company, personally and professionally! As a restaurant chef for 18 years and now a private chef in the Chicago area, Ive served their product to clients and have received rave reviews every time. Its definitely chef quality meat!!! I also shipped Chicago Steaks to my brother-in-law as a welcome home gift when he returned safely to the states after an Army deployment. Hes a porterhouse guy and absolutely loved coming home to a big box of American steaks from his hometown to fire up on his grill! Everything arrived beautifully packaged with several updates along the way - great communication and customer service.

Unfortunately when they arrived, the packaging was damaged and I was not sure of the safety of the steaks. Amazing bundles for steak lovers or for great gift ideas. I could not have been happier with my whole experience with Chicago Steak Company. They delivered very quickly and the meat came in packed nicely. Then once I cooked the steak I was even happier. The packaging literally comes in a large sturdy cooler, filled with solid dry ice and perfectly marbled meats regardless of the cut you order!

I read all the great reviews and decided to send a really nice gift package to my a very valued friend and work colleague. What a DISASTER! The package was days late and when it arrived, the dry ice had melted and the crate was filled with warm meat and blood in the crate - it was a generous gift that my friend said was disgusting. When I called customer service they said, sorry well get someone to call you back tomorrow. Because I have a job, I called them back and got poor customer service again. Same line Ill have someone call you back, I said no just refund my credit card. I called back one more time to see if I got better customer service and a different response during business hours, but NO, it was the same. Nice people in customer service, but nothing that felt like good customer service. I couldnt post with NO STARS so I gave 1 star. Work on your customer service, even though its probably UPS fault. Chicago Steak Company you should make it easy, fast and right, then maybe Ill reconsider my review.

Hello folks!! So.... my first foray into this company was not the best experience. The very expensive steaks (wagu) I bought were horrible! I posted a comment and the response was immediate. I was refunded all my money spent, with a future gift certificate to try again. (it was like $350) I accepted this and waited a few months to try again. So.... I finally made my purchase this month with dry aged rib-eye prime steaks. We just cooked one up on the grill last night, and I will have to say it was superb!! I am very happy with the steaks they sent..... they are big, the shipment arrived still frozen and they are tasty. So... will I order again??? Yes, I think I will. This company made it right with my first (horrible) purchase, and on the 2nd try.... it was great. The customer service was super responsive and polite to my feedback. Thanks for being a company that actually listened to me! I will recommend you in the future!

I am not a beef eater but wanted to get something for a client. Once I found the reviews, the website, the price I thought I would buy it. I decided to send to another individual and bought chicken for myself. I was concerned because they have a statement about remote working and the affect on customer service in terms of response time. I thought it was too long but worked my way through customer service. The initial order was well received but there were issues with the second and third orders. After much communication, replacement orders were sent and welcomed. I have just finished the chicken which was delicious. From the mouths of the meat eaters they proclaimed the quality was very good. They have a new customer indeed.

Thick juicy steaks with amazing fat and great steak 🥩 seasoning!Love the flavor of these steaks!! We used cooked these on our cast iron skillet. Their steak seasoning was amazing. We added butter, seasoning salt, thyme and their fantastic steak 🥩 seasoning. Finished in the oven at 375 degrees for 15 min. Less time more pink!

You see one star, but only because they made me.Dont know about the product. I decided to give it as a gift. Bad decision. What I do know is the customer service is extremely poor. They provide you with both a shipping and a tracking number for some reason. Two numbers yet shipping details are a mystery to them (and me).Website should have a warning that potential customers MUST register an account FIRST, before they place the order IF they wish to track their shipment without engaging customer service. You can sign up after, but you cant track your order.Offshore phone support is as expected, poor connection, hard to understand, & slow. Waited 5 minutes for their system to boot only to be told its on its way. This is what they told me the day before, two days past promised delivery date. Tried their online chat which does exist but Im still waiting for a reply two days later.Their beef maybe good, Ill never know. While I wont EVER patronize this company again, but I WILL tell everyone I know about them.

I ordered from the Maine Lobster branch of Chicago Steak. I had entered in the promo code to the order and went to the end of the order. It showed the promo code had been activated but didn’t show it at the end of the order. I thought maybe it would show after in the confirmation email. It didn’t. I called customer service and explained the situation and supposedly a specialist would call me. They didn’t. The order is now shipped without the promo offer. I wouldn’t have ordered from them without it!!! I’m not done calling and asking for what I ordered. Save yourself and order from somewhere else

Man o man!! Ordered 2 of the 30oz Tomahawk Ribeyes!! Cooked em up and thought I went to heaven! The meat were the perfect ratio of fat to meat and was so tender I could cut it with a butter knife. I ordered a gift box for my Dad for Christmas and was a real hit! Whole heartedly recommend Chicago Steak Company! Omaha Steaks are not even in the same ballpark!

This was my first time getting steaks online and I couldnt be happier with the experience provided here. The box arrived promptly and there was ample dry ice in the styrofoam container to ensure that the steaks wouldnt perish in transit. Just make sure you wear thick gloves when handling the contents to avoid an ice burn!The filets made for perfect Valentines Day steaks and they were melt-in-your-mouth tender. Reversed seared them after ~30 minutes in the oven to bring them to med-rare temperature. I cant wait to try sous viding the NY strips I got too!Cant recommend these guys highly enough - I will be a repeat customer!

Should be 0 stars. Ordered a steak and burger package as a Christmas present for my son to be delivered on 12/18. He only received the burgers and not the surf and turf package. Called customer service and was told a supervisor would call back within 24 hours. Never got a return call and my son has yet to get the rest of his food and now its 12/28. Horrible and will never order another thing from this company again.

Two weeks ago I called Chicago Steak Company to ask a couple of questions about placing an order for several corporate gifts. About 24 hours later, all the orders were in and scheduled to ship a week later. My contact at the company, Ramona, took my order details and the delivery info and made the entire process quick, easy, and ultimately perfect. Chicago Steak offers stellar service and superior steaks!

I placed an order a few weeks ago and everything was so good! I placed a 2nd order recently and had an issue with the delivery. I called Chicago Steak company to let them know. Their customer service was excellent and they went above and beyond to fix my order. I was very happy. I have tried other steak companies and i have to say that products at Chicago Steak company are much higher quality then others. I will be sticking with Chicago Steak Company and definitely recommend them to everybody!

Terrible customer service. Ordered a small gift box on December 6 with a delivery date of December 17. Box didnt ship until the 20th but did arrive on the 24th. Customer service blamed UPS for delays, and only offered excuses. Also ordered a box from Omaha, shipped on time, delivered on time, and no hassle. For the money, Omaha provides much better service and experience. Customer service is awful at Chicago, so beware if expecting customer service to match overinflated prices. First time customer last time for Chicago Steak. Zero stars for Chicago Steak Company.

My son introduced us to these wonderful steaks. My dad was a farmer so I was used to having top notch fresh steaks. I have not been able to find steaks that compare until now. Actually they far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend these steaks for anyone looking to high quality steaks that you cant get in grocery stores.

One of the filets was more bone than meat. The meat was delicious but very disappointed that it was more bone than filet.

Horrible! I ordered $324 worth of meat shipped on the 2nd didnt get until the 8th and all meat was defrosted and bad. Had them reship the order after several calls with the customer service they reshiped but instead of sending me my $189 worth of 30oz Tomahawk RibEyes I received a box of 8 hamburgers! That is not worth $189 since they offered a code to get free burgers of 12 for $95. I am still fighting with customer service to send me my steak or give me a credit. This was supposed to be for a Valentine/Anniversary dinner celebration and its ruined! I would never buy from this company again!! If they didnt have the steak I chose why not call and offer me another cut or a credit??? Horrible horrible do not order from them!

If i can give a zero rating, I will. Do not buy from this company. Trust me!! Their customer service is HORRIBLE!! I have been trying to get information on my order which they confirmed and charged for close to a week now. It was supposed to be shipped last week as a gift and yet no one can tell me whats going on in my order. I had called their customer service a bunch of times but the representative keep telling me the shipping department has the info but i cant talk to anyone in the shipping dept. They cant be reached she said. They only call back. I left several urgent messages and yet NOONE has gotten back to me. I had to wait over the weekend to speak to someone again and when i called on monday during business hours i was answered by the after hours call center DURING business hours and said they are not available and asked me to leave an urgent message again which noone has yet to return. All i need is information about my order, it is the MOST BASIC customer service you can provide and yet noone can give that. This is a perishable good and shipping and receiving the product in a TIMELY manner is very crucial!!! I also emailed them and still they keep ignoring me. This company is horrible. You are better off spending your money elsewhere. JUST HORRIBLE!

Do not waste your money. I will say the quality of meats is good however we received 5 different shipments that arrived hot and rotten. They tried to make it right by sending replacement orders that arrived hot and rotten as well. They need to revamp their shipping or you’re wasting your money. We’ve been waiting for a refund for weeks.

The wet aged Ribeyes have excellent flavor and are well marbled. The burgers are excellent. The steak seasoning is on the salty side so if you get it only use it only on one side. The steaks are on the thin side so a little goes along way.

I ordered 4 Prime, 16oz NY strips from Chicago Steak Company and they mistakenly shipped me 4 non-Prime 12oz Angus Choice steaks. Thats 12 ounces less steak and a downgrade in quality.I contacted them via Facebook. They responded immediately. Verified the error and shipped out the correct order within 2 days. I got to keep the original steaks and they were pretty good!

I must say Chicago Steak Company products are a 10 in our book at Tufftruckparts.com. We have been to many 5 star restaurants in our lives and the products we received from this company were awesome if not better then a lot of steaks we have had. If you know how to a cook steak like a pro you will see that Chicago Steak Company steaks are just as good as restaurants where you pay $60 to $80 for a prime steak in Boca Raton Fla. This happened to me once before, but I thought, well, I will try again. I took advantage of the 6 oz. sirloin steaks for $69.95 (4 pieces) and served 2 of them July 3. In few words, they were terrible. Flat pieces with no taste. Maybe 6 oz. is just too small for a piece of steak. However, I wish you all would taste the steak before sending out. I did not overcook by any means as the centers were dark pink....the meat just had no taste whatsoever. Okay....I have learned now. I am done.

We grilled one up of each last night. We tried the filet mignon, the New York strip, and the ribeye. All were very flavorful and tender. We used the steak seasoning that accompanied the steaks and it added a nice salty spice and delicious flavor to them. I was especially impressed with the flavor of the ribeye. Even though there was quite a bit of fat on it which is standard for a ribeye, I couldn’t help myself and picked at the fat as it was also so tasty. This was a birthday present for my husband who was delighted with it and especially with the taste and quality of the steaks. I’m glad I took a chance and ordered Chicago steaks

I ordered 700 dollars of steak and burgers for me and for my son. My order came as promised. The burgers looked good and were frozen. The strip steaks were brown, soft, stank-clearly spoiled. I called them. They wanted photos. I had to retrieve the steaks from the trash and photographed them. I said that I was afraid to use the other stuff ??contaminated. NO ANSWER. Sent them 2 emails and photos--NO ANSWER. Wouldnt order from them if it was FREE!!!!

I thought I would give them a try. I order my steaks and selected my delivery date. I live in Florida and it was 87 degrees yesterday which is the day my steaks were scheduled to be delivered and there was an issue with UPS. I originally wrote a not favorable review because of the issue and I have now changed it because of I was lucky enough to have Ramona Alvarez very professional customer service person turn the entire problem around and early took care of me.Since the first order Ive ordered four more times I have to say great food and great service. Ramon continues to help me through the process and is always willing to do anything to help. I originally wrote a not so favorable review because of the issue with an deliver, I have now changed due to the way Ramona handle the problem

NewYork steaks came very chewy and stringy. Would not order again. Stick with Allen brothers or stockyards.

I used this company to send a number of Christmas presents. It was an absolute disaster. The worst part of it was an absolute inability to ever speak to a customer service person on the phone which compounded the problem. Their website was not functioning correctly so any order you placed was so delayed in appearing in your “account” that it looked like your order had never been placed even though you had paid. When calling customer service you would get a person who said a person would return your call in 7 to 8 days! So unprofessional and unhelpful especially when sending perishables. I will NEVER use this company again. One more thing, this company is in Maryland not Chicago eventhough the name suggest otherwise!

Ordered over $500 worth of meat that was shipped on a Wednesday and arrived hot/ no ice/ open bags in a Monday afternoon. Now I can’t get anyone to answer the phone or email. What a shame during this pandemic to waste this food. When I eventually get a refund I will do rate a portion to a local food bank in protest of their wasting food.
