If you like architecture, this is your bookstore. It has a good selection of books and also books written by the professors of architecture at IIT. Great place to shop for other little momentums from the University.

A bit overpriced but some great things for my son

The person responsible in the store was rude and condescending in front of other customers in the store. I rented a book that wasnt in a great condition. When I returned it he suggested I had destroyed the binding, that he would never rent out a book like that. I had tried to return the book because it turned out I didnt need it, but the first week of class, when you are able to return them, had already finished. Mind you, I rented it on Friday of said week. The return period should be longer because you really dont know if youll need the book you rented. The book sat on the shelf for the whole semester. All in all, wouldnt recommend this store at all and their attitude should improve drastically. Very disappointed.

The book store is clean and well organized, with a wide variety of stationary for ones academic needs. The staff was congenial and helpful. That said, the price point is consistent with other college book stores, namely on the high end for the materials provided.

Quite overpriced, especially clothing items

Nice store, friendly professional staff, and convenient on-campus (central) location. Lots of course textbooks available, with different options. I recommend the IIT bookstore!

Staff is always very helpful. One particular case was when I was asking about online access for a calculus class, the girl working saved me about a hundred dollars because I was about to buy it but she told me I might still have access to the website from the previous semester. Go Hawks!

This place is stupidly over priced. Avoid at all costs. Books are definitely cheaper online for physical copies. But look for free PDFs online too

Being a campus bookstore, its natural to find things to be over priced. However, in regards to containing all the textbooks youll actually need for your courses, Ive never had any issues. Its rather convenient and has a nice collection of books, in addition to IIT gear. Definitely worth getting a book from, or, at the very least, purchasing something to represent yourself as a proud Hawk.

It is nice and organized. Owned by Barnes and Noble, so its nice. It has all the materials any IIT student will ever need, which includes supplies, books, clothes, and other gadgets.
