My Too Good to Go order had rotten food. The worker hand picked the food off the shelf that was in the bag so he knew what he was handing out. If I didn’t get this food in my order some other customer would have. I rather Instacart & pay the delivery fee + tip than support a place like this.

Municipal Foods is a very wonderful store where you can buy produce, lunch meat and milk products too.

Small grocery store with fresh cut meat in the back. The gentrification has taken place and thus this stores prices reflect it. Very pricey for a neighborhood store but they do have a large selection of liquor and beer.

Expensive and needs to work on some things as far as quality of the fresh food and fruit but overall a quick stop place and yes ladies and gentlemen they accept EBT

I live close by, and find that I dont have any trouble doing most of my grocery shopping here! Theres a big selection for such a small store, and a good selection of alcohol as well.

Great selection of produce! It’s always full. They bring some exotic fruits which is a huge plus! The wine selection is great so is the beer. There is even fresh ground coffee such as intelligentsia and more. The bread is always fresh. The workers are super nice!

The prices are hard to beat

We went there because it was closest to us. Unfortunately we didn’t have a good experience. There was not much choice of good cuts of beef, chicken or fish. Most of the vegetables were not fresh. Could not find any decent wine selection.Most of the wines were either overpriced or cheap wines. On top of that, the male cashier, who is either a manager or owner tried to cheat. There’s always something wrong when they don’t give you a receipt of the items you bought. I asked for mine and found that he overcharged me for two items totalling $5. Usually this goes into his pocket. Not going back again . Avoid! And check your receipt and count your change!

This grocery store is horrifying. Ive lived in Chicago for over 13 yrs, with 2 in NYC, and I have to say this store reminds me of the grocery stores in deeply impoverished Brooklyn. 1) No enforcement of masks here during pandemic, man came in intentionally coughing on food and people 2) on an 80 degree afternoon on Memorial Day the store was hot and the food was rotting inside - the beyond burger packagings were bloated and some were under-cold and some were freezer burned (who knows whats going on in their stock room) 3) the store stinks like rotten meat. I got a pre-packaged deli pasta salad and it tasted like a toilet seat. I will never come back here. This place needs to be checked by Chicago Food Sanitation law. All the produce was overripe and old.

The people there are always friendly, and they have an incredible selection, especially for a store on the smaller side. They even have a bunch if gluten-free and specialty items. Please shop here; its a great store.

Service is friendly. Produce is just ok compared to a large grocery store but they have all of the staples. Selection of other goods is pretty decent but its probably not your one stop shop for everything. The selection is improving and they will start to stock things they dont have if you ask for them.

Great little gem in Humboldt Park. I found some cool products that are not at other stores. The prices are a bit higher, but the convience and the staff made it worth it.

Yesterday I went into the store and got two bottles of the Barefoot Sauvignon Blanc wine that had a red sticker for $4.99 each. After paying, I saw that I was charged $5.99 instead. I asked the male cashier who immediately said that it was wrongly priced. I told him that he was obliged to sell it to me at the price shown but he said he didn’t have to.I would have appreciated it if he could have told me so before I paid instead of charging me without telling me. Now Im beginning to think that I’ve been cheated by him in the past.So dishonest! He has lost a good customer.

DO NOT GO THERE. A One star is to generous for these people. I went in there to shop, I ask the kid at the liquor bar to use his restroom he told that he doesn’t care or give a .... THEY ARE VERY RUDE AND PRICIER that Marianos that about 1 miles from them. DONT NOT RECOMMEND. IF YOU WANNA HAVE A BAD EXPERIENCE GO THERE.
