Ive been working at this wine shop for almost a month. I was blown away by the wines on offer. They had a large selection of wines from which to choose. The wine case I purchased from this establishment was delectable. I like this shop because the staves were also very friendly, accessible, and polite. They will assist you in selecting a great wine to fit your preferences.

FANTASTIC! Melissa and team are not only knowledgeable about their collection of wines, they are so helpful in making the right selection for your mood. Our favorite is to go in and have them surprise us with a collection of wines to explore. Neighborhood treasure and worth a trip in. Everyone needs a local wine lady.

One of the best-curated, female-focused selections of wine/beer/spirits/NA bevs in the city! BottlesUp! is always buzzing with activity and hosts several events (in person and virtually) a week and is perfect for the expert and novice alike. Owner/operator/purveyor-of-madness Melissa is always full of energy, knowledge and jokes. Be sure to stop in for supplies on your way to a party, your fave BYOB or a quiet night on the couch with a frozen pizza.

I stopped by to see if I could get more than 10% discount on the case of Champaign for my birthday one of the ladies graciously suggested that I should speak to the owner.The other lady started shaking her hands and saying no to me as if she was drying her nails borderline throwing me out of the store!So I paid for 3 bottles I picked and left very upset and confused.Now I have to look for another wine shop to get my wines.Does anybody want my points?

What a jewel of this towns wine shop. It was only a week ago when I bumped into this wine shop unintentionally. I was amazed at the massive selection of wine that they had. Theyve got wines of all kinds. My favorite was sparkling wine. It really tastes good. You could also sample their good old wines for free.

In addition to an amazing and carefully crafted wine selection, you can also get adorable candles made in old wine bottles, cheese and chocolates, and face masks. All the essentials these days. Plus they have a monthly rotating local artist featured on the walls, and a stellar monthly wine club! Love this place.

Seriously can’t say enough good things about this place. This is one of my all time favorite places to find great wine. Im not an expert, but thanks tho Melissa, her husband (owners) & their great staff, I’ve always had a lovely bottle to fit the meal and mood. I have literally walked in and described the mood I’m going for with a glass and Melissa has given the the perfect recommendations. Melissa is one of the most knowledge wine aficionado. She’s breaks everything down which is super important for a person like me with zero wine experience. The wine is sorted by price and color which is also super helpful. The store is welcoming and 10/10 will go back again.

Come in often for my weekend wine purchase (I swear Im not a Wino). They have a great selection, great shop, and the staff are very informative/helpful. Love supporting local and this place is definitely my go to. Highly recommend. Plus if you know nothing about wine (like I did) they dont make you feel like an idiot ha.

I live in the UK and wanted to deliver a gift to my sister-in-law for her birthday. The only information I gave Melissa was to include sparkling wine and she created an amazing collection of 3 beautiful wines and chocolate. And then made sure it was delivered on a Sunday. It really was the most phenomenal service. Noting was too much trouble. I just wish I lived in Chicago as then I would be a regular customer. As it is, I know where to go for gifts for my family (lucky them!)

Very nice place to discover non-binnys wine options. I found one that I really like, bought a 12 bottle case with a 10% discount - presented as a very big deal pricewise - for then finding the same wine closer to home in a local cheese shop for much less. Disappointing to say the least, but I still appreciate their curation in the offer. Will only shop there for special occasions, but my trust might be over for them.

I love this place! They have an awesome selection of wine and beer! They have cool events and I like their monthly qine club; I havent had a bad bottle. I dont get my wine any where else. :)

After dealing with an unexpected week long winter emergency living in Texas, my sisters 40th birthday snuck up on me and I realized I may not be able to send a gift in time. Melissa from BottlesUp! saved the day! After reaching out by email through the website, she got back to me very quickly with a champagne recommendation, several easy payment options, AND personally delivered the gift the next morning! The wine selection is awesome - small production, unique and reasonably priced. We are part of the wine club, and love the wines we get. Also love the events and classes - super fun and a great community.

I loved my experience at BottlesUp! Warm people helping us find the perfect bottle and they seem to love grower champagne just as much as we do. We got a great bottle of franciacorta for a reasonable price and can’t wait to go back and get some more great sparkling wines.

Woman owned and operated and amazing selections of wine as well as other unique liquors. Such a fun place to come taste and learn about wine, see local artists, and hear live music the first Friday of the month! The wine club curated bottles are such a great value and Melissa takes the time to give the history of the wine, where its from, and what itll pair with. Its the charming neighborhood wine place we need.

I typically purchase wine based on the label. If it looks cool and fits my mood at the moment I buy it. I stopped at BottlesUp! and planned to find a cool labeled wine for the evening. I ended up talking to Melissa and she gave me a little more knowledge when it came to picking a wine so I didnt have to pick one just because of a cool label. As an added bonus, I happened to stop in on a Friday so I luckily walked into a free wine tasting.
