Definitely a top burger in all of Chicago, very reminiscent of Johnny’s Grille, will absolutely be back for it in the very near future. Corn dog was great too and could definitely taste the quality of the dog from Paulina Market in comparison to any other type of hot dog. Great beer as to be expected, but really was excited to learn just how good the food was too.

Awesome new, now full service version, of the beloved craft beer shop in Roscoe Village/West Lakeview. We were excited they now serve food! The smash buger and tempura fried pickled green beans were delicious and affordable. We also ordered the curry to dip our fries in.. 10/10. Cat and Zach took great care of us. If you are feeling adventurous try the Braaaaains (mango/banana fruit sour) its like a boozy naked juice!

Great place, highly knowledgeable staff and an enormous selection of specialty beers as well as a huge selection and variety of wine. I like that they have delivery as well as contactless pick up, as well as in-store shopping. We were able to grab a variety pack as a gift and the selection was excellent.

Staff is always super friendly and fun. They really seem to enjoy working there and always treat us like family. Beer selection is always changing and a large variety. Food menu is small but it is very good and well priced.

Great drinks. Decent food. Terrible sauces. It seems sugar is a central theme in literally all of the food to its unfortunate demise. Why would I want sugary buffalo sauce? Rethink the sauces and amount of sugar used.

Great beer selection and fun vibe!

This place knows their stuff, and is the first place I know of that offers a Christmas Advent Calendar 24 pack of beer. I think they were on the Today Show for it in, like, 2015. They also have 12 Days of Cider if thats another thing youre into. Bitter Pops has a bar in the back, too, for an on-premise pint, so you can really say, theyve got it all.

Bitter Pops is the best. Mike, the owner, along with his crew are fantastic. The spot fits the neighborhood perfectly. I refuse to shop anywhere else for my beer, as they have the best selection in town and have a kick a$$ tasting room in the back. Pricing is typically at or below market value and you will always walk out with a few tastes and a new beer you have never had before. This is the epitome of a VERY WELL DONE beer shop and everyone needs to buy their beer here.

Not one bad thing here. Excellent retail store with a huge refrigerated selection of local, national and worldwide beer. A pretty solid liquor selection as well. Then there’s the taproom, great staff always awesome draft choices, and very reasonable pricing for pours. Great atmosphere to hang out with friends or bring a date to have a beer. Dog friendly except Fridays and Saturdays, so you really can’t go wrong! Follow them on Instagram for releases and awesome specials in their taproom. Lastly, join their rewards program that gets your free beers in the taproom! One of the best places to get your craft beer fix in Chicago.

Good tap list, nice outdoor space, and a small but great beer selection in their bottle shop. They also dabble in specialty coffee and have a kitchen, but I didnt get to experience either.

Best bottle shop in Chicago. If you are looking for any limited releases this is the place to go. They are expanding into a taproom down the street and they will be serving food so they will no longer allow dogs which was one of their big draws, but even then, their beer selection is unparalleled and their serve yourself draft system is a great deal.

This is a fun little neighborhood beer store thats worth going out of your way for. They have an expansive collection of beer from Chicago, the mid west, and beyond as well as a staff with an equally expansive knowledge of beer. Their liquor collection is also nice particularly their showcasing of local spirits. They frequently have vendors in offering samples and have a nice little tap room in the back.

Great beer/ liquor store concept with a taproom in the back! Even have a single bottle cooler in the basement to choose as you like and drink on site! I recently found a bottle of whiskey Ive been trying to track down for a whole there and they even had a very reasonable price for it, thank you!

Great service. Cute bar area with 8 good beers on tap. Gave me two tastes before I committed to a pint. They had some great options in the store where you had to buy 6 packs. I was a little disappointed that in the basement area where you could mix and match 6 packs the selection was awful. I wanted to try a lot of their beers but I didnt want to commit to a 6 pack. Regardless, it was a great place and I went back 2 times within a weekend. Gave great recommendations when I asked.

Not only do they have a great selection, but the place is dog friendly. And they have a loyalty program that keeps you coming back. Really well done overall. Even the tasting room has a great atmosphere and you get pretzel rods and mustard!

Love the vibe in this place. Good beer selection on draft, with different size options for you or if you want to split with friends. You can also get anything in the store or the considerable beer cellar and drink it in the tap room. The only minor downside is no kitchen onsite, but plan ahead and order some food for delivery, which they are totally cool with. Ill be back again for sure.

I come here weekly. They are one of the best deals on beer in town and their selection is very good. They host a lot of vendors and tastings and they have a GREAT tap room. Ive found the tap room actually has some of the best deals on draft beer in the city!

Everyone who works there is friendly. Great beer selection and about 20 on tap. No food but local restaurant deliver and waive the delivery fee. Seating is limited, probably for 25-30, but theres standing room

This place is my favorite place to taste beers. My brother and I have been going here for a while. They have the friendliest staff and you will always have a lot of fun. You can have a flight of beer and play board games that they have ready for you. I couldnt recommend this place enough. Go there and have a blast!

They dont scalp on anything -- prices are the same as a grocery store, but you get the small-business service. The employees are all very friendly and happy to talk with you about beer. Went there this past Saturday for a craft beer tasting for 2 deal that we found on Groupon. The selection was great and Megan, the bartender, was amazing and genuinely friendly. The ambiance was great and we just had the best experience while we were there.

Great selection of beer for takeout and a nice small curated draft selection in the bar area. I would recommend for people who give a damn about beer and want someone who also gives a damn about beer to inform them about new beers available to the market in Chicago. All of the pints are served in mini pitchers which is kind of cool.

Probably the biggest beer selection youll find outside of Binnys. Their tasting room in the back is great and the staff is always friendly. Highly recommend picking up from here if you can.
