This spot is a Andersonville staple. I have lived here for 20 years and always try to shop here. Staff is great and knowledgeable at what they do.

This wine shop is fantastic! They had a wide variety of fine wine collections. Theres one thing I enjoyed about this wine store. You should sample the wine first before you buy it. The staffs are going to help you pick a great wine. They were very polite and welcoming. The food in this store was fantastic as well.

Andersonville Wine and Spirits has been a part of our lives for epic events. I will never forget being 8 months pregnant and carrying two bottles of wine for my family without being judged. During the pandemic, this has been my husbands go-to place to take a brisk 15 minute walk, chat with Ramses the owner, and speak to an adult after a long day with our two toddlers and managing sales teams at work. Ramses brings gems to his store, and if you hang out, you will find amazing liquors that are very hard to find or make you nostalgic, and bring you closer to the rest of the world. Hats off to his knowledge, professionalism, and reliability.

This is a fine place as far as it goes. its not binnys, but its a perfect legacy in the neighborhood.hint: they need some Samuel Smiths, Samuel Adams, and Im sure some other Samuels along the way, but if all were going to drink is flavored seltzer water then its perfect.

I really loved the selection here. Craft beer, cider, and more - they had a lot of different options without being so much that it was overwhelming. The staff was helpful and enthusiastic.

My friends and I really enjoyed spending our free time here. The place wasnt crowded, nice, and cool. Besides, the waitress was very friendly and supportive.

Great selection! They have natural wines, lots of bitters, liquors and cocktail ingredients you cant get everywhere. Their scotch whisky selection is also excellent.The beer and wine selections arent the biggest, but they have great options of what they do have.We stop here frequently after bar/ brewery hopping in the area and always seem to find something unique.

I really love this place. The owners / proprietors are great people and incredibly friendly. The selection is fantastic. And it is incredibly conveniently located in the heart of Andersonville. They might not have the cheapest prices you can possibly find but the convenience (and the fact that Im supporting a small business owner instead of a big box retailer) more than make up for shopping around for the best price.

Theyll carry your basic, repeat purchases but always have something new and unique to try. Family run, they are personally invested in providing good service, great selection, and unique values. In my experience, their expertise sets them apart; they actively look for high quality wine and spirits that they can offer as specials at bargain prices and never fail to make the right recommendation when you are looking for something for a gift or special occasion.

This place is rock solid, with wide selections of good beer and wine AND theyre open till midnight on Sundays...if thats your thing.

You sell the liquor, you didnt make it. Lose the attitude.I feel like Ive interrupted them when I go in there. So I dont anymore.Its a pretty store with a nice selection but you never get a smile or hello. And why are you randomly charging .50 cents if you dont use cash with no explanation? It all feels very suspicious and uncomfortable. Plenty of other nice liquor stores. Or even Jewel right down the street.

The greatest beer selection out of any liquor store Ive been to. Anything I look for they have. It got to the point where im trying random brands Ive never had just to diversify my taste in beers. Their wine selection is quite good as well. When I moved to this neighborhood, I was so jacked to have found this place.

This place has a pretty good beer and wine selection, which is the only reason its not a 2. The reason Im not in love with a liquor store with a great beer and wine selection is I just. cannot. get over. how much more expensive it is. Youll be spending about $200 (at least) extra a year by making this your regular liquor store. Its insane.Seriously guys- go down two blocks to Kennys for an equally good beer and wine selection (cant speak to liquor since thats not my thing) for at least $1 cheaper. Its like a 2 block difference. Or, better yet, just go to Marianos or Binnys for a $2-3 difference.

I almost always find what I am looking for here. Unless you are looking for Topo Chico. Then, this is not your place. But if you are looking for booze, this is your place. Go figure, huh?

They had the Zacapa Edición Negra Ive been hunting down for a while.. And let me tell you... Its the most delicious Rum 🥃 Ive ever tried. Although Im familiar with Zacapa that specific varient is so good it beats the even more expensive one (Zacapa XO). Anyways this is about the store not the product. They have a variety of just about everything you can think of and is a good place to frequent if youre into trying liquors from around the world

They sell what I need, the do it with prompt service and are able to answer any questions I have on alcohol or cigars.

This is a safe and clean late night liquor store! They also have really good limes for sale. The owner has great taste in liquor and I was happy to learn they sale pisco!! Looking forward to a pisco sour on the patio.

Good selection of beers and liquors. There is a credit card minimum which I hate because sometimes I just want to pop in for a bottle of cider without taking out cash. Im spoiled by the vastness of Binnys so the options here didnt impress me too much but its definitely a goodt spot in the neighborhood to pick up some wine for a party.

Was recommened cote du Rhone replace favorite that was no more. recommendation Clos Du Pere Clement. wine was discounted and highly recommended. i bought three. big mistake. did not compare at all. awful. i had to go to Binnys to replace. yes that bad. I have purchased wine from them for 12 years. sometimes they recommened what they want to get rid of. Dont count on there advise, in my opion its based on short term $$.

The store has a really great beer selection, but the manager is a sneaky liar when youre not one of his recognized regular customers. I was in his store a few days before the release of a big beer and talked to him a bit about it. He said he would have it in later that week. I happened to be at his store right when he received the beer later that week and even though I saw it right there on the floor, he said that he couldnt sell it to non regular customers.First off I hate liquor stores that hold back any product entirely for their friends or a few notable regulars. Second, he could have just told me earlier that week that while he is getting some in, it is all reserved, but I guess he knew Id be back and hoped Id spend some more money there anyway. He was dishonest to me, a customer, and wasted my time. I will not shop am establishment that disrespects their customers just because they arent regulars.

Anderconville wine and spirit is very convienent and has a lot of good beers beers and a nice selection of booze. If you are walking around the area it is a great spot to stop. The service is nice.... they are very friendly and will help you find what ytou need.

The store had a great selection of liquor and beer... They specialize in Chicago products, both spirits and beer. They carry most few products, koval and lerherbee. They also usually have one of the best selections of pipeworks beer I can find.The staff is not the friendliest, its not that theyre rude, they just dont go make a point to be friendly or even smile, but I dont care... the stores selection of local craft beer earns it five stars.
