I purchased a box spring from another company and it was delivered to another state. So, in a pinch, I stopped at Mattress Firm Bridgeport with 5 minutes until closing. On April 6, 2021,My Fiancé and I, went to Mattress Firm at their Bridgeport location, in search of a new bed. We were warmly welcomed and greeted by Ms. Carol Johnson, who kindly and patiently attended us throughout the process of choosing a bed for our new apartment.Even though I didn’t have a credit history and was unable to get a loan, she helped me get a lease from Progressive Leasing. I was so happy to go home with our new bed and enjoy a good night sleep.Unfortunately, the mattress we thought was going to be a perfect fit for us wasn’t for my body and back. I called Ms. Johnson and explained that the mattress was too soft and didn’t have enough support for my lower back. I suffered lower back pain, sciatic nerve pain, and hip pain. I must admit that Ms. Johnson wasn’t at fault in my Fiancé and I choosing the mattress that later caused me to experience back pain. She allowed me to lay on several soft and firm mattresses within my budget, and my fiancé and I chose a soft memory foam mattress. However, after learning of my back pain condition she called me into the mattress firm location to pick out a firmer mattress and we chose a stock mattress and she made calls to find one and had it set aside for us and delivered to my apartment a couple of days later. Wow !!! That was amazing!!!! She also helped me get another lease from Progressive leasing for this second mattress, which was in exchange for the first one. I’ve had no more back pain since I received the firmer mattress.Ms. Carol Johnson went above and beyond in ensures that I was able to find the right mattress for me. She is a great person and we’re so glad she was there for us. Thank you Mattress Firm for having Ms. Carol Johnson as your customer service representative. I went in with an idea of what I wanted so it took me less than an hour. I was helped by Carol. She was friendly and patient. Any question I had about the mattresses she knew. Shes a great salesperson because she really sold me on a lot of items they had. I declined most of them and she wasnt bothered by it. I wouldve been able to walk out with my mattress that day, but they didnt have any in stock, itll be here in about three days. I highly reccomend.

Our situation is different than most consumers looking to buy our second Adjustable Bed. It’s not just an issue of comfort and convenience. My wife’s disability means our bed has significant medical benefits. I researched and my wife and I agreed on the Tempur-Pedic Ergo Adjustable base as our choice.
