I tried the salon and omg I am so glad I did! Sylvia is amazing and my sew in looks perfect 🤩 Hair texture she got works perfect with mine, I’m completely natural so it can be a challenge for some stylists. Not her! The braids that were being done by the other stylist looked beautiful on her client.They always have what I need! Staff is professional and pricing is great!The crochet hair I get is always on point, good quality, no smell and doesn’t look cheap.I don’t even bother going anywhere else.Nice soaps and perfume also from a vendor there.

Horrible disgusting customer service. Would not recommend. Just because this is a community store doesnt mean it has to be such appalling treatment. Theres other beauty supply stores that you should go to where professionalism is a part of the experience. Theres the lady in the store with braids, heavyset, light-skinned, shes the absolute worst. I literally had to just leave instead of getting anything because of her. I hope they get it together and hire better staff.

My wife sent me to pick up something for her. There were 5 cars parked in the handicapped spots, but only 2 of them had placards. I am disabled, and had to park across the lot even though I have a placard. Once I got inside staff was very helpful, but when I mentioned the cars, they said that they tell someone and that was all that was said about it

Great place to shop nice and friendly people to serve you. All laughs and fun the whole time you shop with all the help you need to find what ever youre looking for. Great place.

My experience in this store today was beyond horrible!!! I took my granddaughter here to get hair products & I was going to purchase a few items for myself. The security lady at the front door approached us at the the register & stated you see what I see showing me a video on her phone of my granddaughter putting her hand in her pocket. She proceeded to then walk away. My granddaughter put the items on the counter & began crying. I decided we werent going to purchase anything. I took my granddaughter over to her & had her to empty her pockets she only had her phone, phone charger & sunflower seeds. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS HERE AGAIN... THIS WAS A TOTALLY HUMILIATING EXPERIENCE FOR MY GRANDDAUGHTER! The lady didnt even apologize until after being called out on her negligence. My granddaughter was only putting her phone in her pocket. What a shame! 😡😡😡

I went here to get braiding hair but was accused of stealing. Never felt so disrespectful I’m my life. I would encourage anyone who doesn’t want to be disrespected and treated like a common criminal to avoid this place!

One of the biggest beauty supply house I have been in. Never been in there before. I found a few thing that I was not expecting. I have to go back and take my time and look more. Exciting and overwhelming

Wig selection is limited, but they do have a lot of hair. It seems as if all these hair places have gone up on their hair/wigs/products, guess its the sign of the times. I would revisit, but wouldnt be my first choice

I have wild natural hair and I needed a wig to give it a rest so I stopped in after work. My big hair and head would not fit under a cap but Miss Dee went above and beyond... she quickly gave me 2 french braids which allowed me to try on wigs... I found 2... Miss Dee was taking turns helping a few shoppers with selections and styling our new hair... she kept all of us engaged at the same time. Making sure we felt like we were receiving indivisual service... Not to mention the buying one lace front get another free...

Everytime I go they never have enough packs of the kinky braiding hair in the same color by the same brand I need. Other than that the customer service & prices are good. The sew in weaves seem to be very popular as the counter seems to always be busy.

I like this place because everyone who works is nice. They speak when you walk in the door and they take their time to answer questions. I also went to the salon and everyone there was so nice. Ashley was my stylist and she was beyond phenomenal. She was so nice and took time to answer all my questions. I will return to Ashley. Thank you!

I enjoyed visiting here. They have pretty much any type of accessory you would need for doing hair from extensions, wig caps, wig glue, hair dye, and an assorted selection of wigs. The prices are pretty good also so I would recommend. They also have security too so it felt really safe inside the store.The only thing I wouldnt recommend is the makeup. Cheap brands that can break out skin and do not looks that great after a couple hours of wear. The only brand of makeup that is not all the way completly bad is Nyx, but still be cautious of that brand too.

They are well stocked and have reasonable prices...average neighborhood beauty supply.

The appearance of the store from the outside is beautiful and bright really like Hollywood, but when you get inside its like the corner candy store. I was so disappointed to be taken that high and be brought down low. THEY DONT HAVE NOTHING IN THERE. ITS NOT A HAIR FACTORY. Hair selection sucks even though thats what they advertise the most. Never going there again.

Rachel and Ashley are very helpful professional and courteous! They are role models for other employees! Rachel assisted and provided information and aisle location of products. Ashley was with me through my entire shopping experience. That doesnt happen in most stores. She is very thorough and has vast knowledge of hair products for crocheting and sew-in which is something Im exploring. Her suggestive selling is part-excellence for my gray hair. Although she provided an awesome customer service experience, her skills are an example of what I refer to as a PPA-Professional Personal Assistant. From the outside it looks big but they do not have a whole lot of selections in their products as you would expect. On the up side, they have good deals here and there.

I normally have great service but today I was about to buy a lace front and have them put it on I waited in the back for like 20 min no help so I changed my mind and just brought make up the cashier was nice uo front but no service was available for the wigs due to everyone was talking in the salon

The lady in the back of the store was rude and dismissive when I asked her could she show my sister a wig she said yep but she NEVER looked up to help us. We stood there in front of her while she brushed wigs chewing gum. We left the store empty handed and went to another beauty supply to spend our money.

It is a huge store and they probably have anything and everythingyou would need for your hair. But, they dont have the areas labeled so you can find what you are looking for I had to search.

Rented a Uhaul from this place of buisness. My experience was very smoove and convenient. The Uhaul representative was very professional. Even the Security Officer was very helpful and professional. Overall, this place of business is organized and good customer service. I would definitely recommend this Uhaul facility to family and friends.

Bogus advertising and promotion for giving out free bundles, they lied. They have people lined up outside of their store this morning today June 30th 2018 on a heat advisory talking about you need a ticket to be able to receive free bundles of hair which were already giving out and then you have to wait until 106.3 radio station comes, only GOD know when that will happen, to get additional tickets randomly given out to receive the hair. Some BS

If I could give this beauty supply store 0 stars I would. First of all, I purchased a wig from here on Black Friday because Ive been in here with my mom and the employees assured me that the quality of the hair is amazing. I purchase a $300 human hair wig with the 30% Black Friday deal. This wig didnt last me a week!!!! It literally started shedding, tangling, matting and being extremely difficult to work with. I wore the wig for 3 days and decided to go to the store and ask for a refund or a human hair wig that will last me at least 3 months. The only solution they would give me was to contact the wigs manufacturer or to find a wig worth half of what I paid, so a $115 wig basically. Im very disappointed with the quality of their products and services here and there are much much better beauty supply stores in Chicago. I do not recommend anyone to buy human hair from them; theyre untrustworthy and a waste of your money and time.
