I bought 4 Richardson Seating dining chairs from a store, over 20 years ago. They have held up great, and look like new. I finally had the space and money to get 2 more chairs to match, so I looked up Richardson Seating from the tag on the bottom of my old chairs. Ordering, shipping, and delivery were easy. My new chairs match the old ones, they are high quality, heavy duty and super sparkly! My only concern is that the new chairs dont have a tag that says Richardson Seating on the bottom- if it werent for that tag I never would have found the website to order more!

We ordered three stools Jan 4. I called Feb. 1 to inquire about a shipping date. I spoke to a super nice lady named Cheyenne. She was very apologetic and said that our order was missed and hadnt been processed at all although we had already paid for everything. She assured us these would ship that week. I called again Friday and learned that a tag to ship was created but they would go out Monday. Today we finally got the stools, and the one is damaged. I called and spoke to Gonzalo and let him know at this point we want to return and just get a refund. He stated that he would have to call us back. We were very excited to purchase from this company but it has been a frustrating process. Giving just 2 stars until this is made right. If you order from this place make sure you follow up to be sure it was really received! Then be sure it’s shipped and hope it all arrives in tact!EDIT: owner of the company sent us a new stool at no charge. Very happy!

I needed help figuring out how to find more chairs that matched 3 I got from Target and got good customer service from Richardson Seating. I love these chairs—they are cute, sturdy, comfortable, and look exactly like classic 50s diner chairs. The red glitter color makes me very happy. I was a little worried about whether these would be as sturdy and durable as the vintage chairs, but my worries were unfounded—they really seem exactly like the vintage ones, only with slightly softer padded seats.

BUT I NEEDED VINYL! I WASNT SETTLING FOR ANYTHING BESIDES WHAT I WANTED. SO THE FIRST PLACE WANTED LIKE $200 FOR JUST SHIPPING! THAT WAS NOT AN OPTION FOR ME. I bought a couple of chairs at a going out of business sale that were missing some of the ferrules and sliders. I found them at Richardson and Ira helped me identify the right parts and made adjustments on the site for shipping costs I was able to create two terrific chairs for a total of $79. Richardsons sells a variety if Cracked Ice vinyls. A must for any restorer of vintage bar stools and kitchen chairs. My original order was handled a little roughly by the carrier. Right away Richardsons offered a solution. So pleased to have found them. Awesome service!

It’s refreshing to know that factories like Richardson Seating still exist. Unlike most restaurant furniture “manufacturers” who just import, Richardson actually builds its own products. It operates a wood shop, metal shop, and upholstery shop all under one roof. All sewing is done onsite too. I have used them for several orders over the years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
