The food is exceptional, I especially love the fresh bagels and homemade cream cheese. I tried several breakfast sandwiches and love every single one of them. Their omelettes are delicious at a fair price. They use only fresh ingredients. They offer a wide variety of smoothies, combining vegetables and fruits, while incorporating other healthy ingredients such as ginger.I also tried their lunch menu and was surprised to find real fresh turkey meat and turkey meat balls. I normally don’t like meat balls but you have to try those, they are amazing.The service is fast and reliable and they have some space to eat in.I highly recommend Jaffa Bagels for a fast, healthy option for breakfast and lunch.

This is one of those annoying places where theres something on the menu I love (lox sandwich) and I always get that, but then Im waiting to pick up and I see the sign for the Tunisian omelet and think I should get that instead. I love my lox sandwich on a garlic bagel, but they also have pumpernickel. Or I want just something sweet and I know not cinnamon raisin, because thats common. But do I do blueberry or chocolate chip? What if I got a cinnamon raisin bagel with cinnamon cream cheese.The bagels, by the way are SO fresh. They are delicious, all of them. The smoothies are really yummy. The fruit salad is fresh with tons of kiwi. The staff is very friendly. My order is always correct. And I love that I can order on the bus and pick it up on my way to my office.

Bagel was fresh and flavorful, but isnt there some kind of law that requires a properly boiled, chewy outer crust if you are going to put Bagel in the name of your operation? Not really a boiled New York bagel, if that is what you are looking for. Maybe they dont boil them long enough. Also, a few points off for delivering the cream cheese on the side, in the plastic cup, at least in my book. Ample good review ratings are probably a function of being basically in a food court in a large office building, friendly staff, and good sandwiches. The place is fine, if you are in the building or already in the neighborhood, but I wouldnt travel across the city if you are on a quest for a quality New York/Montreal bagel experience.

Recently spent time in Chicago for a conference and found Jaffa Bagels in the Illinois Center. The staff are friendly and ready to serve you! Food was great. We tried the omelets which were huge and served with toast, hash-browns available if you like. :) If you are in the area Jaffa Bagels is well worth a visit!!

I was very happy with my bacon, egg, and cheese on a blueberry bagel. They cooked the bacon into the egg so it was pretty easy to eat. Good blueberry flavor in the bagel and good consistency. Coffee wasn’t the best but that’s not the reason I went there.

We stopped in for breakfast and wandered up to the second floor. My fresh pressed juice was so good and my everything bagel with veggie cream cheese, spinach, tomato, and onion was perfect. I may even come back tomorrow for breakfast! The owner is so kind and welcoming. I definitely recommend this spot! You won’t be disappointed!

I frequently have to grab lunch quickly and get right back to work. Jaffa Bagels is the best option available if you are anywhere nearby to get a whole, healthy meal quickly.They have great drinks as well, and everything on the menu is worth trying out.Service is always top-notch here. Everyone is always gracious and customer-focused.

We run a non-profit and do events pretty regularly and recently started getting catering from Jaffa and it is awesome! We recently got the omelette bagel assortment and it’s not like other bagel places where everything tastes generic, it tastes homemade.They also go out of their way to make it convenient for us allowing us to just text in the order and it is delivered when and where we want. I was on break from work in the south loop today and I saw a little advertisement for this place. I love trying new things so I decided to check it out. Definitely was the best decision I’ve made all day!I’m not a huge vegetable eater, but I finished my entire order because I just loved the way it was cooked. The rice and potatoes had a really soulful flavor. The meat (chicken and turkey) was prepared very well and was not over-seasoned.Very friendly staff and a really quick ordering process. I’ll definitely be a regular at this spot.

This is my favorite place for lunch and healthy snacks in the Illinois Center.They have the absolute best scones in town: light, subtly tasty and not too sweet. Their sandwiches are also delicious and taste just like home made food. Everything is freshly made in the morning. Try also their babaganoush and hummus. Cant find more authentic anywhere else. Love their smoothies as well. And on top of everything, they are always friendly and very pleasant.I highly recommend Jaffa Bagels!

Delicious!This hidden gem wont be hiding much longer! The sandwiches and smoothies at Jaffa Bagels are dynamite!I had the egg & cheese sandwhich with turkey bacon and it was a small slice of heaven. They have also catered for my office and have done a great job.

I go to Jaffa almost everyday!! Its an Awesome place for both breakfast and lunch. In addition to their amazing bagels, they make great omelettes and nice natural juice. As for lunch, they do have a wide variety of delicious food. I usually take a lentil soup, or mashed potato with turkey, but they have a rich menu full of good stuffs.

This place is terrific! The food is great. From the bagels, croissants and omelettes in the morning to the turkey sandwiches, chicken shawarma and salads for lunch. The service is great and the prices are very reasonable for the amount of food that you get.

I love this little restaurant. Everything I have tried here: bagels or an omelet or smoothie in the morning or turkey meatballs and veggies or a sandwich for lunch---all of them are fresh and homemade and delicious. Its more than delicious bagels at Jaffa. They have an extensive hot breakfast menu and I tried a new lunch feature yesterday - turkey meatballs on pita -- that was amazing! The staff is friendly, the owner enthusiastic and engaging and the food is top notch. Amid a sea of fast food places in this building, Jaffa is a non-franchised operation that aims to please. Give it a shot!

This place is the best! Their breakfast bagels are my favorite. It is the perfect way to start the the morning. Try the bacon, egg and cheese with extra bacon, you wont regret it.

Good, fresh food. If you have room, try the muffins! You will enjoy them. My favorite is the peach with toasted coconut. Great flavor and texture, its almost like a snack cake.

Jaffa is in my office building, but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t travel for it. I easily eat there once a week. It says bagels in the name but they are SO much more. They make fresh turkey every day – think Thanksgiving turkey. Sliced off the bone, marinated in au jus. As a platter, on a sandwich - every way is delicious. They also have chicken kebabs with veggies which are grilled on an open flame and are healthy and tasty. I haven’t had a bad thing on their menu and compared to other spots in the building, the prices are great. I love this place! The staff is amazing and they remember everybody. Do yourself a favor and give it a try.

We sought out Jaffa Bagels while in Chicago for a long weekend because lox and bagels are a favorite of mine for breakfast, and I had read great reviews on Jaffa Bagels on Michigan Avenue. They arent open weekends, so I had to wait till Monday, our departure day, to try them. Let me just say it was well worth the wait! The lox and bagels were awesome; and there was a great selection of bagels, smoothies and juices, fabulous coffee, salads, sandwiches, and the daily freshly roasted turkey Thanksgiving every day! What topped that was meeting owner Mehdi! He was delightful to talk with- a very kind, funny, interesting man! We will definitely make it a point to go there again on our next visit to Chicago and recommend it to our friends!

I have been coming to Jaffa for several years. The turkey plate with sides is very good. Sometimes I get only sides. Its usually about 2.50 to 3.00 for a side of vegetables. Today I go down there and they charged me $4.46 for a cup of vegetables. Furthermore, the prices on the sign for the sides had been taped over. You could see where it used to be 3.00. But now it was blank. When I asked about why there was no price and why it was so expensive, the man behind the counter kept telling me the appetizers were 4.00 and rice was only 3.00 but the other sides were different prices. I did not get an appetizer. I got a side of vegetables. A sis-ka-bob was listed at $2 and some change. There is no reason to just make up prices. THEY HAVE LOST A CUSTOMER FOREVER. I will not be back. I can buy a whole large bag of frozen vegges for that price. Stop gouging the customers AND fix your sign.
