They are AMAZING!!! Fast service, super friendly AND theyre Smart Car friendly!!!! I needed a tire for my 2013 Smart car Fortwo and they were THE ONLY ONES that could get it for me and put it on. They also did some engine work on it, when others didnt even want to bother looking at it. Which saved me at least $4k compared to other dealers that did quote me on what I needed done!!! Highly recommend going here. Theyll tell you what you actually need done, fix it and still be very cost effective!! No rip offs here. Very trustworthy and reliable. Im definitely coming back! Jay and LuLu handle business for real. They are honest mechanics and I can see why people are beating their door down at 8am promptly. The first day I tested the water and got my Ford 2013 wheel bearing, I returned 3 days in a down for a sway bar link and a strut. Know how to talk to customers, has customer service and is a true professional. As busy as they are, they never rush me with questions. They understand the business and I appreciate that

The reviews are CORRECT! These guys are GREAT! This was my first time leaving my car here for an oil change and tire rotation. They had it done in a few hours and the pricing is beyond reasonable! My sister normally stops by monthly at Dave’s Auto Shop to get her oil changed. But since she’s on vacation, and Dave’s Shop closed for the holidays, the car was overdue, so I stopped by Stay On Autoshop for the first time. They charge about the same, and takes credit/debit cards, which is a huge plus, as I no longer carry cash on a daily basis.Their service is super speedy. Not only that, they did a complimentary inspection for my sister’s car. They are super friendly and personable, especially Lulu and Jay.I write this review, because they are extremely pet friendly. They allowed my 100+ lbs German shepherd sit in the waiting area with me. Not only that, they gave treats and pets. You can never go wrong with serious pet lovers! We actually became friends, and their German Shepherd, Loki, and my dog, Zeus, had a play date this afternoon!非常值得信賴🙏🏻

Very accommodating spot. They are very honest when it comes to the work they need to do on your car. Thats hard to find these days. I would recommend.At this time, I have received several repairs on my car. I cant say enough good things about this spot. Pricing is always reasonable, repairs are usually fast (depends on the work you need done), everyone is very friendly and nice, and my car couldnt be happier. Great place and great people!! I highly recommend this place if you need anything done with your vehicle! Lulu was very professional and nice. She will take care of you and stay in touch with you with all updates. The mechanics walked me through what was wrong and showed me in detail with what exactly was wrong with my car. Even with a full lot of cars, they finished fixing my vehicle on time like they said they would. Definitely coming back!

I have been here several times now and I’m so impressed! As a transplant, it took me a while to find a trusted auto shop where I didn’t feel like I was being ripped off. The folks here are super accommodating, honest, and reasonably priced. As a woman, I soooo appreciate Lulu at the front desk explaining things without over complicated everything. She’s always been so helpful and sweet. I’m relieved to find a place on the Southside, close to my apartment, that takes care of my car.

I have been going to Stay On for years . Working at the school next door made easy for oil changes. But getting a fair price and great service made it even better. Jay is very honest and does not talk you into what is not needed. Stephanie runs the office and has more knowledge about cars than most mechanics. My vehicle has over 220k miles and they keep it running for me .

There is honestly no better repair shop in Chicago. Youre wasting your time and money going anywhere else. Jay and his crew get your car working quick and at a fair price without any of the shady mechanics tactics of trying to take advantage of people who dont know about their cars. I bring all my families cars here and would never go anywhere else.

I went to get my tire patched and 1 wheel hub screw replaced. The lady told me I needed to replace the entire wheel hub, quoted me a price north of $300 and the job would not be ready until the next day. I told her I did not want the entire hub assembly replaced, because it wasnt necessary. And after they patched my tire, she stopped the mechanic from helping me lift my car to replace my tire, essentially told me to do it myself. I took my car literally across they street and had the job done for 1/3 of the price and it was ready within a few hours. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Patched up my flat tire and engine light check for only $25. Synthetic oil change $60. Very fair prices and the girl was sweet.

I had a great time there eating my Popeyes chicken sandwich and watching the fish dart around in the aquarium. Would recommend

Friendly, fair, trustworthy. Ive had fairly basic work done here (oil changes, tire rotations, muffler replacement) and have been very satisfied. Appreciate their willingness to be flexible - getting me in immediately for an oil change at 4 pm, letting me leave the car over the weekend while out of town. Highly recommended.

I knew there was something wrong with my front right wheel or CV axle, so I bought a CV axle and a new tire rod end, brought it all there. They had the car for 2 days, then told me that the CV was fine (which it was, they were right about that), but that they couldnt possibly install my tire rod ends because it had been done wrong in the past (found later that this was a lie, it was done correctly in the past), so I picked my car up, free of charge. Brought it over to Alex AA down the street and they fixed my tire rod end in under 30 minutes. So Stay-On doesnt know what theyre talking about, and their desk lady DEFINITELY didnt know what she was talking about. So avoid this spot.

I had gotten my tire patched today from Stay On Auto. Very friendly people, and I didnt have to wait long. Will definitely be going back in the future.

Edit for 2020: their service was great and price was reasonable. new receptionist is very kind and is very good at communication. she would ask the mechanic for things she does not know the answer to.old: giving a 4 star because the mechanics did a good and fast job on my front endlinks for my gen2 Mazda 3 sedan. taking off one star because the receptionist tried to argue saying endlinks do not touch the struts, but clearly she did not know what she was talking about. I understand maybe she knows more than some other girls about cars but please dont give false information. I just wanted a better estimation for if I wanted to install strut mounts. might only go to this shop for easy and cheap fixes, nothing intense.

BUYER BEWARE!! THEY ARE SHADY LIARS, MENTIROSOS!!!! STAY AWAY! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!!This place is the reason why consumers cannot trust mechanics, it is very unfortunate. My breaks went out completely and I had no idea why. My family friend mechanic, which you should find if you dont have one, was busy so I took my car here because it was the closest to my house. I told them I did not have a lot of money and just wanted to see what was wrong.The receptionist Stephanie was very polite and seemed helpful. They did not look at my car when they said they would but I understand they were busy so I went to rent a car. Then she called me and said I needed a new front left caliper and 2 back break cylinders and it would be about $350. She said they bled the breaks so I could drive it but they would go out again..or something. It sounded like a lot so I googled the parts and they were FAR LESS than she said the parts were. The labor I understand.Since, the parts were far less than what she said I just waited to get my car to the family friend and had to pay for rental until then.I bought the parts and went to my family friend a couple days later. They were right I did need a new left caliper but it did not cost $89 like they said, at auto zone it was $49 and guess what? I DID NOT NEED ANY REAR PARTS ON MY BREAK CYLINDERS AT ALL, in fact, THEY DID NOT EVEN TAKE MY REAR TIRES OFF AT ALL. They lied, completely fabricated that I needed those parts. They said the parts were over $200 and they cost me $17 for each of them (2) and the labor would have been far less than they quoted but I didnt even need those parts so I returned them. My mechanic new they did not even take my rear tires off or the brake apart because he had to beat them off just to look inside and the parts were perfectly dry no leaks or anything!No decency, no respect for the neighborhood/neighbors, shady shady, I will be reporting to the better business bureau, I hope they get investigated! Take your car to someone else!!! How dare you do that to people!
