I came here to rent a U-haul to pick up a couch I had bought. I was having difficulties with my u-haul app and the man there was very helpful to figure it all out. He was very accommodating and had wonderful service. I would come here again next time I needed to rent a truck!

I took my car here when someone knocked off my side mirror. I received friendly help fast! I got an honest assessment (don’t splurge to replace the mirror, although I could’ve had that done at SSS) and they helped me with a quick fix instead. I’ll definitely be going back.

Replaced my bum battery with a battery that was 2-3 years old. Lasted 18 months.

I went to SSS Auto on a referral from a colleague, I’m so glad I did! The work that was costing thousands of $ at the Honda dealership, cost me less than half here. Its a mom/pop shop that does great work, like knowing the person working on my car! I have already recommended him to my friends! Use him for any auto work you need, you will not be disappointed.

My daughter brought her vehicle in for brakes. His price for brakes and rotors and front and back was $1200. I try to negotiate a price he said no. Told him I’ll find somebody else to do the repairs. When my daughter went to Pick up her car the next day he charge her $125 For looking at the car. I was expecting something but not $125. Told him he was ripping us off with the price of the brake jobs and then you start swearing at me.

Best shop in the area hands down. Ive had many bad experiences at other places when it comes to fixing my 10 year old Jeep.This time I had a check engine light, the code was saying catalytic converter malfunction. On a Jeep Wrangler replacing the cats with parts and service would come out to be over $1,200. Anthony acknowledged this, and found a cheaper fix, knowing the converter shouldnt be going out this early in the Jeeps life. He replaced the oxygen sensors and extended their bases to prevent the issue from happening again. He detailed the price of every part and labor on the phone before doing the work. He was polite and friendly, talking to me like a normal human being and not an annoying customer. 5 stars for this excellent service, SSS has a customer for life.

Very professional and polite!! I needed a front license plate bracket installed and they did it free of charge and welcomed me to the neighborhood :). I’m so glad I discovered SSS Auto Repair and will definitely be returning for all other car services! HIGHLY recommend!

Let me begin by saying I never write reviews, but feel compelled to share my experience as a warning to others. I drove my 2001 Ford Explorer in to get the battery changed. I bought the battery and was going to do it myself, but I didnt have the proper tools to get the old battery out. I droped the car off with Anthony who was working and said come back in 2 hours. When I get back it turns out my car doesnt start. And has thousands of dollars worth of repairs before it can start. I ask how can this be since I drove it into you shop two hours ago. He shrugs his shoulders and asks me what do I want to do. Long story short I scrapped my car for $300. Dont go here. Go anywhere else.

I took my car to get fixed twice for same issue and it never got fixed.My car had been cutting off sporadically while driving. I took it in to get the issue fixed. The total cost was 671.90. The car seemed fine, however it cut off again two days later during rush traffic. Needless to say I was upset and called them to come get it and fix it. I was told they couldnt find anything wrong with it and I drove away. A few days later....... It cut off again in the suburbs. It was a weekend and late in the evening. The car was stalled in a paid parking spot. So instead of either paying to have it towed or waiting for the auto shop, I decided to have it scrapped.I called in and explained the situation and let them know I had to scrap it. I asked for some sort of refund on labor, even if it was only a couple hundred dollars. I had video and photo evidence.The response was the car is gone so we cant help.A word of advice to would be customers. Stay away. Especially if you have an older car. This place is a money pit and a huge time drag, not to mention poor customer service. Youll probably end up regretting it and end up with a much lighter wallet.

Terrific experience! Having only serviced my car at the dealership, I was hesitant to go elsewhere. BUT, when my car wouldnt start (just heard click) and I needed help right away, the dealership wasnt there for me! They didnt even call me back until after the car was already up and running - fixed by SSS Auto Repair!Owner, Anthony, was extremely helpful! He even gave me self help guidance (I called 3 times before I even went to them) over the telephone when I had never been there before. He was able to get me in right away and was so accommodating. His staff was professional. It was an around great experience...who ever thought one would say that about auto repair?!

I found Anthony a number of years ago when I needed some auto body work done. Ever since my first experience, I would not go to anyone else. Unfortunately, Ive had several opportunities to confirm that he is the best, most accommodating, and fairest guy in town. I have also used Anthony for engine service and once again, he showed me that I cannot go wrong with him as My Guy. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for auto body or service work. The quoted price for a 2008 Honda Civic Starter was 4x the Pep Boys price. Opted to go to a shop that let me supply the part. The quoted labor was competitive.

Took my car in with a flat tire, and really needed it repaired asap. After calling a ton of auto shops who said they couldnt get it fixed quicker than the end of the week, I called SSS Auto and they literally got it in and repaired within a few hours. Price was super fair as well. So happy!

I came home from vacation this past Monday and was devastated to find that after returning from a relaxing vacation my car would not start.I called Anthony at SSS Auto Repair and told him the symptoms in which I thought that the problem was the starter. He had a towing company come pick up my car and told me it would be a few hours. Before he began working on it he gave me a quote for what the starter and labor would be with the towing charge included.Few hours later I received a call from Anthony that it was not the starter but that I needed a new battery. He replaced the battery and told me that it reduced the price significantly and it was ready for me to pick up.I was very grateful for his honesty. Ive watched specials that show how auto repair shops can really rip people off; especially my demographic of being a young female, who in all honesty, I dont know a thing about cars so he easily could have gotten away with it.This is a great mechanic shop in Lakeview; conveniently a 10 minute walk down the street from me. I will continue to go to SSS Auto Repair for any needs in the future.

GREAT auto repair center - trustworthy, fair, and exceptional quality. Have brought multiple vehicles in (one after another service center did some routine maintenance causing it to make a horrible-sounding noise) and each time Anthony has found and fixed the problem. Ill never go anywhere else!!

I was given an honest evalution of my car problems and was helped to jump my car twice in one day. I was given the proper recommendations by Anthony and sincerely appreciate his help. He took it upon himself to look up and find a shop that sold an AC Delco battery that I needed for my car. Guess what? He even lent me one of his own batteries to use in order to drive to the place to get my new battery!! Great place and I wont go anywhere else

Good and quality service

FAST. I went in at 430pm knowing I needed Major repairs and Anthony was thorough, friendly, and efficient. My car was finished by 11am the next day! Plus included warranty for a year on everything.

They found the issue, and fixed it when my dealership was unable to. Highly recommended!

What was already a very stressful day due to rain while trying to move in a very busy neighborhood turned to hell. I was charged WAY too much for the truck rental and when we asked why it was at least 3 or 4 times what I was orignally going to pay they would not give an answer and to contact corporate. Very poor customer service, and this coming from a person that has been working with the public 11 years.
