The experience was very unprofessional and the quality was not good. My vehicle was in an insurance claim and they did not do the work they outsource the mechanic work from what the insurance said and the vehicle was older so if something electrical wasnt working (Electrical damage on the vehicle due to fire) Windows did not work, back light did not turn on, heater didnt turn on and they said it was due to the age of the vehicle. However, i have prove and sent it to the insurance that the cars engine light was not on before the accident due to routine oil change conducted a couple of weeks before the accident. This auto place insisted that the damaged was due to older vehicle. When we took the car to another repair shot it was stated that the vehicle had received an incorrect part in the car. The car was driving before the accident and now you cant do a u turn because the car turns off. Took the car back and will be picking it up because they insist that electrical was damage prior to the fire in the engine that cause the electrical damage. Do not take your car if the car is 10+ years old.

I have a 2017 RAM 1500...I accidentally damage the side panel of the flatbed. I was referred to South Loop Auto Service by a family friend. So I took it in got a estimated quote. After three different estimates. I decided to go with South Loop Auto Service. They work directly with my Insurance Company. The process was painless. Demetrius Hopkins took care of me from beginning to the end. He kept me informed of my vehicle progress via call or text. He ensured me if I had any questions or concerns to contact him.My vehicle went in March 24, 2020, and I was given a completion date of April 2, 2020. Man...He was right! My RAM look brand new. I have NO complaints. The color was spot on; he was able to get the same fixed running board with the RAM Logo.Youre looking at a VERY SATISFIED customer.

The customer service at South loop auto body was outstanding, especially Chatel. She was very professional as well as personal. She made me feel at ease during the pandemic that we were in at the time of my service. Even though she had a mask on her face for protection from the virus, you could still see that she had a great smile while interacting with her. Furthermore, not only was she very attentive, but she found me a mirror for my Nissan Murano at a great price cheaper than any other place I searched. Not only was it a great price, but it was done very professionally. My wife was very pleased after she saw her new mirror. I would definitely recommend South Loop auto to anybody.

The most reliable neighborhood, family owned auto shop! The first time they fixed my car was after my car got side swiped when I had only been living in south loop for less than a year. My insurance company allowed me to choose which shop to use and after extensive research and reading reviews, I chose South Loop Auto Body. The process was very smooth - they coordinated seamlessly with my insurance company, parts manufacturer, and car rental company. They kept me informed throughout the entire process and my car was fixed in under a week. Then most recently, they helped me out again. After the polar vortex, my battery died. South Loop Auto Body generously sent over a mechanic, free of charge, to jump my car. He even had me bring my car in and he looked under the hood and reset all my alerts for free. Of course I gave him a generous tip but he never once asked or expected it. I dont trust anyone else with my car in Chicago! Thanks South Loop Auto Body!

Absolutely LOVED!!!! My car was Hit and ran about 2 weeks ago, I was completely lost, seeing as this was my 1st car accident. Awesome shop, dedicated staff! I was convinced my Porsche Panamera would become a Total Loss having been flooded when heavy rains overwhelmed roads and storm sewers while out driving. Instead, they patiently conducted a tear downs to get to the root of the problem. BAM, engine roars to life, no disco on the dash!! When something needs done right, only the BEST will do. South Loop Auto Body repaired my car to perfection! I was rear ended causing about $9,000 worth of damage. a At the time my car only had 12,000 miles so of course I was nervous that my new car would enjoy ruined forever. This shop did an amazing job on the repairs. My car is as good as new! The ladies in the front office are super helpful and Andre kept me updated every step of the way (I called weekly for the 6 weeks it was in the shop). I would definitely recommend South Loop Auto Body and wouldnt hesitate to go back if the need arises.

I highly recommend this shop. They are super friendly! I got a crash and Statefarm told me to go this body shop to fix my car. Their service is awesome. Very kindly explained things that were needed to fix, and estimated price was much cheaper than I got from dealership. Of course, it was covered by insurance, but price itself was much cheaper. One more thing I liked was their aftercare. I found another problem related the crash quite a while after I got my car back, and it was cared very smoothly without hassle. I will definitely go this shop again.

BEWARE!Had my Auto for 6 weeks,I got my car back windshield never replaced,battery not strapped in, negative wire not secured to battery post,wife got stranded as a result,tailgate squeaking,didn’t deliver my auto on time three times,windshield washer fluid not spraying right, were still putting pinstripes on my car when I was walking in to pick my car up, ZERO STARS! If your insurance company recommended this shop do yourself a favor and ask for another shop!!!!!
